Before my…read moreappointment, I spoke with someone named Luca, who provided me with an estimate and instructed me to send a $200 deposit via Zelle to a phone number that was posted in the shop. After the deposit was sent, I was tattooed by an artist named Christen. Following my appointment, I received a text message from the same number confirming the date I had booked and the estimated price for my future tattoo session. However, after returning home to New Orleans, I began receiving numerous messages on TikTok from individuals claiming to be representatives of the shop. On June 24, I also received a message from Byron Lyfton. Because of the confusing and inconsistent communication, I repeatedly requested a phone call to clarify who I was speaking with and confirm the details of my appointment, but I was unable to get one. I was instructed to call the shop directly, which I did. I again spoke with Luca and explained everything that had been happening. I then asked to speak with the owner/artist I had originally booked with. At that point, Luca informed me that I would not be allowed to speak with the artist until the day of my appointment, which was scheduled for September 14, 2026. Considering that this appointment involved approximately $4,000 worth of work and required me to travel more than 300 miles, I felt it was reasonable to request clarification beforehand. Unfortunately, the conversation became extremely unprofessional. Luca raised his voice and yelled during the call for several minutes before ultimately hanging up on me. My concern is not the quality of the tattoo work itself, but rather the lack of clear communication, the confusion regarding who was representing the shop, and the customer service I experienced when trying to address legitimate concerns.

While I understand this was a promotional event, clients were not allowed to choose their artist, which already felt concerning. The artist I was assigned (CJ) did a very poor job on what should have been a simple treble clef ankle tattoo. The work is extremely light with barely any ink, and overall looks unfinished and unprofessional. After realizing how bad the tattoo turned out, I made multiple attempts to contact the shop by phone with no response. Since I don't live nearby, I eventually had to take time out of my spring break to go in person. When I spoke with the owner (Tank), he acknowledged the issue and told me to call back in 15 days so he could personally fix it. After waiting the full 15 days, I called as instructed. This time, the front desk employee (Luca) was dismissive and claimed he couldn't hear me. I was then told to text my request instead. I did that--multiple times--and still received no response. I continued calling as they asked, but again, no follow-up. What's most concerning is that when I mentioned the issue in person, they immediately knew which artist caused the problem, which makes me feel like this wasn't an isolated incident. I'm extremely frustrated by the lack of accountability and communication. Mistakes happen, but the way this was handled--being ignored and not given the promised correction--is unacceptable. I would strongly caution others about booking promotional deals here. Make sure you know who is working on you and that they are experienced. This situation could have been handled much better, but unfortunately it was  not.

I explained my concerns and what I wanted to do to make my ears symmetrical and she really took the time to listen and help me feel better about my ears. When I went back to get my jewelry changed, the guy took out the old jewelry in my tragus and didn't put in a needle so it wouldn't close up while he was getting the new jewelry to put in. The piercing hole closed. He tried to force it in multiple times. There was a lot of blood. He lied and said there was a little. He barely cleaned the blood off my ear. I had to clean it off when I got home. I was in a lot of pain for several days.
