Consider the proximity to a post that has sporadic flows of troops in mass, the wait times can vary greatly. They always deliver, and typically beat their quoted delivery times. Their food is consistent year over year and their service is always polite and expedient even during stressful times. The pizza was OK and was delivered promptly to North Fort Hood by a friendly kid. The wings were cooked but undressed (sauce on the side) and not sufficiently crispy. Their taco pizza needs work. They were out of bean paste or sauce. I had to accept pizza sauce. The salsa is mild while I prefer a spicier variation. The toping separately with lettuce, sliced tomatoes, and cheese was OK. I think it needs jalapeños. Until they fix it I won't order a taco pizza again. Service is quick and reliable. Prices are OK. However that is a general statement. There are some that ask why I ordered a Taco Pizza, done well a Tex-Mex pizza can be something special. That is my personal taste though. read more

I've only had one experience with studebakers pizza. Had it delivered. Every night and location is different for delivery. They gave me an hour and 15 minute wait time. Didn't take that long. I ordered their carnivore pizza (7meats). GREAT! Loved it. For beverages they must have had a busy day because they only had one type of diet flavor 2 liter- NOTHING ELSE. They had some options with their 16.oz. Anyways, the crust was tasty too. read more

Went here for lunch and had the lunch buffet. The pizza was awesome. Lots of toppings and lots of cheese. They kept bringing out fresh pizza after fresh pizza, with a very good variety. They asked us if we wanted anything special made. The salad bar was pretty good. Drink selection was good with bottled and fountain drink choices. The staff was very friendly. Restaurant was mostly clean. They have a TV in the corner. Definitely recommended!! Oh, I forgot to mention, they have an ice cream parlor attached that sells Blue Bell. I didn't have any room for dessert but they had plenty of flavors. By the scoop, banana splits, floats, milkshakes, and sundaes. A few arcade games for the kids. Honestly, I'm not sure why this place is 4 stars. Don't get me wrong, the people were friendly. But that's it. The pizza looked like a lunchable pizza that made it in a delivery box, and tasted half as good. The pizza was also way more expensive than it should've been. I think it ended up costing me $20 for a large, which could've been justified if it was good. First, I'm just thankful that a small business is doing as well as it is in a smaller town. My family and I have frequented Studebakers quite a bit, and never once were let down. Overall the management and staff are hospitable. The prices are great for my family and I. I also appreciate that while their buffet is open they are happy to customize a pizza for anyone, for free. They have selections of pasta, dessert pizzas, a great salad bar, and also an ice cream bar for dessert. This pizza place far exceeds any pizza chain restaurant. The pizza is great and the price is good but the delivery is always fast and they are probably the friendliest delivery staff I have ever met - which makes it worth it especially if you can't get out to pick up your meal. I do recommend the regular pizzas as the thin. I edited my post as it was kinda confusing, when I stated the thin pizza was what I recommended ( over the wings and specialty pizza) this was meant to just be "my favorite" not to suggest the specialty or wings are not great.
