Yep, I'm still in small town Hamilton. I was hungry and thought I would check out this little gem. They bring you out a homemade roll and butter. It was so good. I tried their Stromboli, but I cut the sausage and black olives and added jalapeños. (Everything is better with jalapeños!) They brought out this monstrosity of a Stromboli. When I cut into it the cheese even ran out. It came with a side of marinara sauce. The waitress asked if I needed anything and I said a to go container! lol I already knew I wouldn't be able to finish half of it. It was a slice of heaven. Highly recommend this little gem. I don't know how the pasta actually tastes, but what I ate was amazing. They also make homemade pizza which I am sure is just as amazing. Service was great as well.

Veg pizza was a welcome treat as we passed thru this small town. The waitress was super sweet and took great care of us!

Pizza and service were really good... I'd visit again if I find myself in this small Texas town!

I had ordered the Angel hair pasta with Zesty Alfredo sause and meatballs. They had given me Angel hair pasta with red sauce and meatballs. The whole entire restaurant looks like a kid had just started a new game of restaurant tycoon on Roblox with barely any money at all. It was like a nasty humid heat in texas, good night there was no A/C whatsoever. There were flys all over the place like it was fresh gunk that flys love. The tables were all sticky and not wiped down at all. I felt bad for the waitress who was the only one serving people. There than that the whole experience was just icky. I would rather go somewhere else with my family, but my grandparents love the place and say it used to be so much better.

We were driving through this little town from Austin and decided to check it out. Food was fantastic. Don't get me started on their FRESH bread omg! Service was lovely and enjoyed every check up we had with our waiter. I ordered the Chicken penne a la vodka and finished my entire plate. Sweat tea was freshly brewed with every cup they refilled! Very hard to find this type of establishment in today's day.

So listen. The food was honestly 9/10. Garlic bread was tasty and toasty, marinara sauce was great. Manicotti was delicious and came out QUICK and steaming hot. We loved the margarita pizza too! However, the ambiance is a 0/10. Cracked paint, no music playing, awful decor, bad A/C. Service was great and food was hot, authentic, and tasty. I've never heard of a hole in the wall Italian place, but this is it. It's worth going, but be prepared to be chaotically confused when you walk in.

Now this is a case of don't judge a book by its cover! Not really much to look at as far as decor. This Italian eatery is just about all there is out here in the country. So we decided to give it a go. Walking up it really is very unimpressive... walking in is not that much better... a large open room with no zing. However...immediately upon entry the people were great! New and newer, according to them, (they just started) they basically fell over themselves to take care of us. Extremely nice and just full of politeness and honesty it was very refreshing! We had some cheese bread aps that were "eh", but the free bread they brought out was GREAT! A few in our group got the eggplant Parmesan and loved it! I got the Stromboli and it was wonderful... huge, stuffed with meat, light pastry, and just very tasty! All 7 of us enjoyed the meal! (Hey it's not chicago Italian food, but out here in the sticks it is like finding Michelangelo's statue of David in a field!) The prices are great! The service was wonderful and the food is really good... I'd go back without hesitation.

Sad excuse for a Fettuccine Alfredo

If I could give 0 stars I would, the manager was incredibly rude when I had called to discuss my order which they had already gotten wrong the first time. I had asked how much I was charged for the Alfredo because I had only a handful of pasta which had a disgusting frozen taste. After asking the price of the food I received he replied 'I charged you however much you paid'....so you're the boss but can't tell me the pricing of a menu item that you stated that you had put on my plate? How weird. It was a weird & incredibly rude encounter considering how nice I was in the beginning of the phone call. Also horrible proportions, they must be going out of business or have a a super cheap boss because I was only given a handful of pasta while being charged a crazy amount for some bad food. I work at the hospital & we will definitely not be ordering from there again. Zero stars, don't recommend

After you order at the counter you can watch the friendly, expedient, and attentive staff make your order in the wood fire oven you can view from each table. There is a pretty ample beer and wine selection--only a few basic beers on draft. For dinner, ordered bruschetta; pepperoni pizza; a BYOP with chicken, garlic parm sauce, and mushrooms; and a side salad. The side salad consisted of crisp romaine, sliced cherry tomatoes, and croutons. I opted for the honey vinaigrette. The salad was tasty but not revolutionary. Next up came the bruschetta. It was advertised as incorporating hot honey so we decided to go on a flavor adventure. The cheese they use was very wet and lumpy goat cheese. The basil and cheese really overpowered the hot honey and the tomatoes were overcooked and whole cherry tomatoes. No balsamic that I noted. Definitely not a traditional bruschetta and also not one I would order again, but it wasn't terrible. My husband wouldn't stop raving about the marinara sauce on his pepperoni pizza. He also loved the airy, wood-fired crust. On my BYOpizza, I enjoyed the crust, as well. It was not overly tough nor overly thin and had a great taste. The mushrooms must have been sautéed in a way to make Julia Child proud. They were amazing and well complemented by the herb roasted chicken and garlic Parmesan sauce. Highly recommend this combo. Overall, it's a great place! Wish it was closer to home. Will definitely return!

My husband and I stumbled upon this place while traveling, and it turned out to be one of the best dining experiences we've had in a long time. From the moment you walk in, you can feel the history in the air. Antique items are displayed throughout, and as you enjoy authentic Italian recipes passed down for generations, you're surrounded by photos of those very generations who built this restaurant's legacy. It's a place that feels both warm and welcoming, like stepping into someone's home. I ordered the Trio, which included lasagna that was absolutely phenomenal--rich, flavorful, and clearly made using the family's secret recipe. My husband went for a pizza, made in-house with the freshest ingredients. Everything came out piping hot, and the flavors were out of this world. The service was excellent, and the manager was kind enough to give us a tour of the property. We were blown away by how beautiful it is, especially the outdoor stage--this would be an amazing wedding venue! And whatever you do, don't leave without trying their bread pudding. Trust me. I took some to-go and didn't regret it! P.S. Jan, when I said I'd wait until I got home, I lied. I ate it in the car.
