This is why they say NEVER judge a book by its cover! Even tho they didnt look like it but I swear they were the nicest employees there. I didnt get their names but they were nice to everyone that cane in. I did olace my order online because I was fearful about having to wait on it to cook but that really didnt matter because they really did not start cooking it til I areived or maybe a little before. I had to wait for a bit but it was fine because its crazy everyone was just in a good mood and has positive vibes. We all were just chatting with each other and normally you cannot find that in fast food places.. Anyway I was super nervous to eat here but gave it a try since the one in Schaumburg turned disgustingand I was too lazy to drive all the way to the city and it turned out to be one of the best decisions I made that day. The chicken was fresh and had just the right amount of seasoning and sauce. They were not stingy with the fries.. We ordered 4 breast and fries, 3 tenders and fries, mushrooms, and a piece of perch and a piece of catfish. Asked for all sauce on the side because we had to drive back to our hotel room. The breast and set of fries have the sauce on them. No other sauce to be seen. As someone who grew up in the south I couldn't tell you what the piece of fish was we ate and which one was so hard it just cracked and crumbled apart. Originally, I thought the food would get soggy from all the sauce so we got two orders of wings and fries, one order with mild sauce on and the other order with hot sauce on the side. Got it to go and even though the food was enclosed and sat for a 20 minute drive home, it was still crispy when we ate. There's no real ambiance to speak of: you walk in, and there's a counter and several chairs. Not a deal breaker, but not being able to see INSIDE the restaurant gave me the chills. The management is awful, and they have no clue how to keep things organized. We ordered online and waited almost 2 hours. Went into the store after an hour and people are literally fighting the employees. If you want a free show, just go sit in Harold's. I have a feeling they always get angry customers complaining.
