It was great having such a responsive team standing by to take care of a few tiny minor glitches that were done quickly and perfectly. For the home, having rented over a dozen homes in the LA area...and a good share elsewhere, this lovely home has become our absolute favorite. It was the perfect size for our family (2 adults and 2 teens), providing all of us with enough room to have our own space, and spacious enough in common areas to enjoy watching a movie, playing board games, and having dinners. The space was light and bright, really well-furnished, and the gorgeous walk-in closet made me want one at home. We fell in love with this part of town, strolling Robertson and Melrose were a breeze. Great restaurants, shopping, everything was pretty fabulous. Though the kitchen was not as well-stocked as other rentals, that was such a minor point. All in all, this was a great 2 weeks and we're eager to return to West Hollywood.

We were looking for a unique venue for our November wedding. We knew we wanted it to be outdoors…read moreand a place for both a reception and the ceremony so that our guests wouldn't have to travel between the two. The Enchanted Manor was the first place we looked at and we both felt that it was the right fit. Georgia has created a little oasis in her back yard that we felt fit our vibe - lowkey, but classy. We had booked originally for approximately 60 guests, however once all the pieces fell into place we were closer to 50. Unfortunately our guest count dropped below 50 just after our window to let Georgia know, but she was kind enough to offer us the price difference. We applied that balance towards renting some heaters and lighting the fire pits as the weather got colder than anticipated, as well as to handling the trash. (Pay attention to the contract, you are responsible for removing trash or there is a fee.) One thing I didn't realize before booking was that there is space for a kitchen, but it needs to be built out for your event, so make sure you consider that into any costs. Georgia was really helpful and responsive to all of our questions (we had so many) and anything that we couldn't do she had very reasonable reasons. (For example, at one point I thought I'd like confetti, but she explained why she doesn't allow that on her property which made total sense!) The weeks before I became worried that there wasn't enough decor, so we bought some items that we ended up returning. Once the rentals arrived, combined with the lighting, everything was beautiful as it was. Though there is excellent lighting, I would recommend watching your step as we did have a few tripping incidents (that were not alcohol fueled in some cases) as the ground changed. It was more due to the way things were spaced and we'd have to make sure to look down as we stepped around things, but we managed to survive. We've started to see some photos and everything looked beautiful; it was a romantic but relaxed vibe which was just what we wanted. I worried it wouldn't feel like a wedding, but it did. Georgia was a gracious host, our guests enjoyed her home (we made sure to tell them that they could rent it as well for an overnight getaway) and we can't wait to start reading her book. She gave us the sweetest compliment after, saying how kind our guests were and how that spoke to who my husband and I were as well. We stayed in touch after the wedding and I hope we meet again in the future for events or just a dinner to hear of her adventures! PS - her cats were big hits all around, too!

The realness and kindness and overall hospitality of the magic castle hotel is very worth it. It has a very cozy feel, and the amenities are all worth looking into/ utilizing. I was greeted by Kevin and Kit who were wonderful, and then the night ended with Randy at the front desk. Randy sat and entertained all my silly questions about the history of the hotel and a bunch of movies that related to old Hollywood culture. I've lived within 30-40 minutes north and south through 27 years of life, and this is one of my favorite hotel experiences I've ever had. If you're a real one this is the place for you. We were able to get admission to the Magic Castle through the Magic Castle Hotel by booking a room at their location which is adjacent to the Castle. We made a day of it by checking in with Nicole who took great care of us, the hotel offers complimentary car service to Yashimiro which is located on the hill above both the Castle and Hotel. We went up there (as I posted earlier) for drinks and nibbles before the show which was later. When we came back we were able to clean up and dress into the accepted attire for the Magic Castle. Nicole and her co workers offered us complimentary champagne upon arrival, a cornucopia of delicious snacks, assorted cappuccino/lates, soda and soft serve ice cream all with 24 hour access. We got a great 2 bedroom room which worked perfect for what we needed, our besties daughter and husband met us at the hotel later and they spent the night when we drove home. Room was great, pool area was very inviting with the intense heat we were having. Staff were amazingly helpful and the room rate was very reasonable for a Hollywood location. What a great way to get access to the Magic Castle if you are not a member. We had a great time at the Castle but photos are not allowed in the Castle during the shows and didn't want to take a chance to photo our fabulous dinners. The food was much better than the last time we were there 2 years ago, shows are always superb and fun. So if you want to visit the Magic Castle for dinner and a magic show book it through the Magic Castle Hotel And make it an overnight experience, the shows run late and it beats driving home after. The property in Pasadena (The Madison) was super clean and had everything we needed. The king-sized bed was more comfortable than our own, and we slept like babies. Our kids enjoyed their own TV in their room, so they didn't sleep as much. ;) Our location was perfect in Pasadena for walking. We were there for an event at the Convention Center and walked there every day. Parking at the Madison was relatively convenient and, most importantly, super secure (gated, garaged). How the Vacation Living went above and beyond: 1. Our travel plans changed at the last minute, and adding a night to our reservation was super easy and cheerfully accommodated. 2. I accidentally left some clothes in the unit, and the housekeeper found them, contacted Vacation Living, and they were shipped to my home. :)
