I was skeptical @ first because this salon had no reviews on my beloved Yelp but I decided to book the appointment anyway & overcome my fear of going to someone new and mysterious. We got to the salon at about 11:40am on Saturday morning. My appointment wasn't until noon and I didn't have to wait! Woohooo +1! I met Arturo, showed him pictures of what I wanted, and from there... My shaggy, un-done, un-healthy, brittle hair was history. I went blonder than I was before (see pics). He did very thin all-over highlights with a violet toner. I can rock all the trendy clothes and accessories I want but without the right hairstyle, I can still look like I got hit by a freight train. This is where Nikki comes in. It's been quite some time since I found a hairstylist that actually listens to my jibber jabber of "I don't want it too short but I want enough layers to create dimension and maybe some bangs or not and I want my hair dyed black but not too black and blah blah blah." Like a freak robot, she processes all of that, and I come out looking fabulous all the time. I should add that I live an hour away from the salon. If that's not a testament to how great of a stylist she is, I don't know what is. =) They offer manicures, pedicures, and spray tanning as well. The only negative about this place is its location.
