I've always been the type of person afraid of change and I tend to be fiercely loyal when it comes to keeping a stylist around. Nevertheless, I HAD to get my hair done because I attempted to color my hair myself at home during the pandemic and it backfired in the worst way. I had grays growing in that were bothering me (of course everyone else swears they couldn't see them), and had been watching youtube videos for weeks about color theory which gave me way too much confidence. What youtube doesn't tell you is that when you're pregnant, your hormones can completely change how your hair reacts to color. After being frustrated that a darker color wouldn't take on my roots, I bleached my whole head and everything from the ears up turned into an orange nightmare. Thankfully, Delaney was able to save the day for me. My baby shower is Sunday and I wasn't about to finally step out of the house with bad hair. It took a lot but she did it. My husband said my hair is super sexy and I'm getting a lot of compliments. Most importantly, she was able to fix it without damaging it. I like that the salon is a smaller salon as I can feel overwhelmed in big salons. They did a great job implementing and following new pandemic protocols and made sure that everything was sanitized between customers. I left feeling relaxed, confident, and believe that the price to fix my nightmare was more than fair, and rebooked Delaney for a few months from now. I will never ever attempt to try to do my own hair again, nor complain about salon costs. This was worth every penny to be done right. At the end of the day, there are some things you should never a attempt to do yourself: Plumbing, Electrical, Changing your Oil, Or coloring your hair. These situations necessitate a professional! Jenn saved the day by doing my flower girls and my (bride) updo's and my bridal makeup. I had previously found another 'popular' salon in the area that had promised to be there for me on my wedding day. However, they discontinued communication with me when it was most important and were more focused on relocating their salon than keeping their customer happy. Jenn was recommended by a coworker and she was the best recommendation ever! She ensured I had no worries about anything falling through on the big day. Im not regular to getting my hair done, so i barely knew when i was talking about when discussing styles. Jenn showed not a single bit of frustration with me and we worked so well together. She got my flower girl and myself finished in the exact time estimated. My hair and face was exactly what i had imagined! There was a very heavy downpour (basically a monsoon) during the aisle walk at my outdoor ceremony and not a thing fell out of place from our hair to my makeup! ** This review is soley for Jennifer Farr, I can't speak to the other stylists and am confident that they would do a better job if hired. ** I hired Jennifer to do my hair for my wedding, which required a hair changeover before the reception. She emailed the Thursday before my Saturday wedding to say that she could come for the initial updo, but that she wouldn't be able to stay for the change "due to obligations for me daughter". Also, although she said she was confident about doing my hair when I went in for the trial, when the actual day arrived she got frustrated, didn't use the brand new hair piece that I had brought to the trial because she couldn't figure out how to use it, and was pretty much useless. My friends ended up doing it, which was an outstanding experience. :) All in all, don't hire Jennifer unless you like working with unreliable people. read more

Jen Farr is the stylist I see at this salon, very professional and friendly. She does an excellent job on my hair and I'm never disappointed. She always puts those finishing touches on as well, whether it be a straightener, a beautiful updo braid, the big curls that I love so much (and yet can't seem to get right myself at home), or the many other finishing products and styles she throws in, I always leave feeling beautiful . She also always takes the time to show me new things and tries to help make sure I can achieve the look she leaves me with later when I get home. I don't have issues with scheduling and she's always accommodating my schedule or making sure I can always get in for that special occasion even when I've waited way too late to schedule. HIGHLY recommend her. read more
