Great little salon and spa! The girls are friendly and knowledgeable-always have had great service here.

I'm visiting from Los Angeles so naturally I'm very loud and extremely demanding but coming to Sioux Falls I was pleasantly surprised I needed a very quick beard trim luckily one of the stylist who works here who is incredibly talented very efficient and literally can eyeball the most awesome solution for somebody who looks like they've been dressing in the dark for 30 years... That's me by the way this is Stroh, I had to call her that because her husband was so wonderfully polite and I met him earlier, was lucky to book me all I had to do was call in and ask availability and even if she wasn't available there was a good chance someone else would be but this is a full service salon that anybody in Los Angeles with envy it is beautifully laid out it has endless options for all sorts of cosmetic needs... I literally would bribe every one of my ex-wives with the stay at this place. However the prices are incredibly reasonable and what you get in return is a value much greater than what you paid for. You need a trim, coloring, manicure, pedicure, full salon experience?? You won't go anywhere else seriously I think people should fly in from Siberia there is no better salon read more

Kelly was my stylist he was super nice but my hair was not cut well. I wanted shoulder length but he cut it to above my chin. He styled it beautifully but when I washed it and the hair was flat I could see the bangs were very uneven. The hairstyle was a lot shorter than I wanted and was hard to style around some of the super short pieces. It looked nice when I first left but it wasn't what I wanted and the bangs were jagged when I looked at them the next day. Kelly was super nice but the quality of the cut was awful. read more

I received a haircut from Joni at Studio 26 Salon & Spa. I explained to her several time that I wanted my hair cut short to help even out my layers. She did not listen to a word I said. After she was done styling it, I looked in the mirror and I was horrified. I confronted her on the haircut and she blamed me. She told me that it was because of the products I use and that my hair was dry. I asked her to fix it, so she continued to take more off the bottom and the top. She then put 3 pumps of product in my hair and told me this is how you "SMOOTH" it out. I looked over my haircut again and explained to her that I was still unhappy with the layering. She began to get very upset and told me it was the way I took care of my hair not the way it was cut. I told her that I could put 2 pound of product in it but this will not help how it is cut. At this point she is very upset with me asking her to fix my hair. She was condescending and rude when I asked her to fix what she did. She agreed to try to fix it, this was unsuccessful and just made it worse. She asked me if I like the haircut. I flat out told her no I absolutely hate it. She was upset and told me she has never heard this before and then proceeding to ask me to pay for it.. I paid $45.00 dollars for what my 5 year old daughter could have done at home for free. read more

I'm not one to typically leave a review but I wanted to share my experience. I was recommended by a friend to try this salad because I was looking for a certain type of haircut (I will post pictures soon). When I arrived I was greeted kindly and enjoyed sitting in the waiting area because it was not only comfy but also stylish. Not that it really matters to me but I was never offered a drink, but did notice they have a drink counter. My stylist was very friendly and I enjoyed her company. I showed her what I was looking for with a few different pictures and she told me she understood and will work to get me there. She mentioned that she was only going to take about 4 inches off and by the time it was all said and done I had lost closer to 6 . The whole time she kept talking and chopping and I sat there thinking gosh I hope this turns out okay. When it was still wet and all the inches were already gone she asked me what I thought about the layers, which I couldn't even see because my hair was wet. She stated that she will dry it and we could take another look. So she dried my hair......not a styled dry but just a quick run the blow dryer and her fingers through my hair kind of dry. When it was all said and done she asked me again and I just told her it's fine and thanked her. Never did she style my hair, curled or straitened it. When I walked out of there it just looked like a bad haircut and my hair was even frizzy. Not to mention, the haircut was $35 dollars. Right after I left there I went to Ulta to buy hair product to make myself feel a little better and one of the stylist sat me down after telling her the experience I had. She didn't have time to fix it but did and up curling it and just making me feel better. After examining my hair she told me that my right side is longer than the left and could use some TLC. We scheduled a follow up and felt so blessed to be given the little extra attention I was looking for to feel refreshed. Unfortunately I will not be returning to this salon in the future. Hope your experiences are better than mine. Again the staff was nice and the place was beautiful! read more
