I liked her service and I made an appt to go back for another treatment, highlights, and a haircut. I asked for my hair to be brighter blonde for the summer. Alicia was running 40 min late so I waited in the area outside the studio. When I got in she colored me a dark blonde (through highlights) and charged me double the price I paid last time. I was sick to my stomach paying the bill but I graciously also tipped even with my dissatisfaction. She already had another client going between my appt so I couldn't say anything and not be polite....so I texted her later when she could answer on her own time when it was more convenient. She didn't like that I was dissatisfied. I didn't use bad language, I didn't call her personal phone and she told me I was the worst customer she's had in 27 years. And all I did was text her my dissatisfaction with pictures to show how different it was from what I had showed her I wanted. She told me I was harassing her. How so? She told me how awful my hair was in detail and how she's a senior colorist and that's why her prices were so high. It was not a good experience. Please beware.

But that is still what happened at this salon. The stylist ran her fingers through, broke up, stretched out then cut every curl I had tried so hard to keep perfect throughout my work day for this appointment. She cut my hair like it was straight and now I'm left with a shorter than chin length mess. I am SO upset, embarrassed, self conscious, and sad with what I have now that I just want to crawl under a rock until my curls grow back :'-(

They graciously accepted my request and scheduled an appointment for me. My stylist was skilled and friendly. The cut, color, and highlights were satisfactory. I would not make this my "regular" salon, but it worked well for the purpose and predicament. The salon atmosphere was a bit cramped, but nice, and clean, which is always something I really appreciate.

I paid $450 for the hair and $164 for the service to have them put on. After a couple days I was very unhappy with them because they felt very tight and itchy and some of them were visible. I decided to have them removed. Josie, was very unhappy with my decision. She removed them in a back room. I told her she did a fine job but I just didn't like them and they are uncomfortable. She called me condescending (I wasn't) and said she no longer wants to do my hair and I should find a new stylist. I said to her, well I'm happy you have enough customers that you feel it's okay to cut off a customer. Previously, she would call me friend, and say you're funny, etc. then when she was so mad that I wanted them removed and she couldn't make more money from the hair extensions to be moved up every 6 months, another $150 every time, she no longer wants to do my hair and told me more than once that I am condescending. I was not. I was thinking how much this impulsive action on my part cost me and it was an expensive mistake. I never blamed her. I really felt crapped on. She wasn't even going to wash my hair after she took them out which she had to use some oil product to get them out and she knew I was going on some errands. I told her to wash it out, she carelessly washed and dried it. She then put my hair extensions in a bag. She said I could see someone else there and I said okay how about the girl that works by you and the other stylist said, she's no longer taking new clients. I said oh whatever and left feeling pretty unhappy with how I was treated. That's a joke, they take walk-ins but wouldn't give me the other girls business card. I give them a "F" in customer service! Later after my Grandma passed, she also did my mom's hair, a single process color and cut when we are in town. I really appreciate how flexible Sheila is with scheduling, she's accommodated us more than once last minute. They were very busy and still made time for everyone walking in with and without appt. I think the owner did a great job rotating and communicating with her workers and I also think they weren't scrambling or rushed which I appreciated. I'm new to town and have been trying out different salons to see which is a good fit for me and I think I found it here. The pedicures had several options normal price. Clean stations, great massage chairs! Would definitely recommend
