There are also two other locations, but if you are doing the "antique crawl" along Clark, this is the one to hit.

The Thrifting world has changed a lot because of so many people are resellers now & stores like village discount outlet know that so you will see much higher prices on brand names or more highly sought pieces. The real gems are in the aisles, but you need to take your time & you can still find high-quality pieces that are on trend and/or vintage items that are of excellent quality, but what great is there are still basics & people who shop here for baby & kids clothes who need to be on a budget or don't want to spend too much money on clothes & more they may not wear for long. I literally just started writing reviews because I do like to gate keep my favorite stores, but if they don't have enough business, then they can't stay in business. They used to have an additional basement level but I think that still being renovated. I know you're hanging out on Belmont hitting the bars and food. And when all was said and done, they offered me $10 in store credit and $5 cash. Practically everything in this store is at least $20 so neither option sounded appealing at all. Felt like a slap in the face really. So I told them I wanted the skirt back and they had to rip the newly attached price tag off. Bye. Overall, the space is really crowded, but that just means more treasures to unearth. I did not have a lot of time to check out much of their clothing selections, but the few pieces I looked at seemed overpriced for resale. For example, a pair of LL Bean cargo pants was $14. Though, there are apparel deals on certain tag colors, with the best of these discounts being $1 for a certain color on the day I was there. I suspect if one took the time, there are good clothing deals to be found utilizing the discounts. Their housewares and organization-type items seemed to be priced excellently. I found two great kitchen storage containers for $1 each. I'm a sucker for statement necklaces, and it seemed their costume jewelry was fairly priced as well, with many of the neat necklaces I looked at being priced at $3.
