Ordered $1,000 worth of extensions, was told 4 packs, not detailed on receipt I was given. Also told $400 for installation including color and styling every 4 months, so $1400 every 4 months versus paying monthly $375 and hair good for about a year. I thought I was going to save $100. The day of the installation when she grabbed the boxes, she said it was only 3, that she was confused with someone else , red flag! then at cashier, was supposed to pay now $800 installation + tip, not the $1400 quoted initially, more like $1800 + tip. I have an elephant memory, but I don't like my intelligence to be insulted. So if you insist on going there for a consultationor whatever, get everything in writing and detailed or you will get surprises, unless you don't care and have a bottomless budget. i always trust and verify and like to receive what I paid for. I was promised the invoice showing the number of packs and never got and she mentioned a "paper" where everything was written down, no such thing! just the receipt for the $1,000 extensions and no quantity. They typically have appointments available within the week which is helpful for last minute haircut schedulers like me! I have gotten haircuts and gloss treatments from several stylists who have all been personable, and talented! The interior is typical of a salon with small stations for each stylist. Showed her photos and said I needed "Textured, Long bob, shoulder length" It is a relatively easy one that flatters my face shape and has a little movement. I showed the picture of myself with it to her twice and then she asked to see it again once real quick and I offered to keep my phone open so she could keep checking but she said- No she had it. She didn't. When you get your hair cut, you put your trust in the person with the scissors to cut your hair in a way that will resemble what you are looking for. I was pointed away from the mirror the entire time. She did not ask it if I would like the length longer or if I wanted it just like photo. She just cut my hair at what length she wanted to. I need a side part because of my forehead, she cut it dead middle part which is severe and almost never flattering on anyone. I did not know she was cutting it this way as I was pointed away from mirror. The haircut looks like I said -"do whatever you want, I don't care". No texturing. Hair too long. Has a major flip at ends. Middle part. Hair is cut so it hugs right up next to my face. All of that is really ugly on my face shape and no matter what you do with styling tools it is un-correctable. I was up crying last night about it. I have been unemployed and completely broke for several months and needed to look nice for an interview I have today. I am ashamed to go anywhere! Now I look old, fat, ugly. Should have left it super long because at least I could have put my hair in a bun. Haircuts can bring life or d3ath and this one did not bring life.
