Priceline advertise studio six suites waterfront we went to the waterfront hotel and had to go to the studio six which has nothing to do with waterfront. We return down Service because he said I was not happy made racial remarks gave us a bad time. We had to drive 70 miles back home had no reservations. Priceline could not help us at that time. I spoke to the manager the next day he was just as rude shouted on the phone would not calm down something fishy about that place just to be safe you have other choices. I also discovered HAIR in the sink which I wasn't too bothered by as I assumed it was from the cleaners. But after examining the bed and towels, there was hair EVERYWHERE just embedded in the fabric. YUCK. After checking in around 3:45, and shooing FLIES out of my room, I went to have dinner with the graduate at the Water Front Hotel (a lot nicer by the way) and returned around 6:30 PM. Just as I was winding down for the night--I found a ROACH crawling on the wall and bathroom sink. Called the front desk rep who first exclaimed that they "hadn't had any issues with roaches in that room before." It is sooo pointless to mention something does not help resolve the issue at hand! I was literally watching the roach crawl around the sink as I was on the phone with him! There are already a few reviews of roach and bed bug sightings here. This is NOT a new occurrence. And if there is one roach, there must be more. The rep continued to say that there were no other rooms available to put me in. Further, he stated that I could simply leave and by doing so, I MAY only receive a partial refund. I had only been in the room maybe 2-3 hours??? To add, he said that the manager would be out until Monday, a day after I check out. So, essentially, I could leave and risk not being refunded. The entire conversation was dismissive. Felt totally invalidated. Didn't even offer to at least spray the area. At this point, it was late and I didn't have transportation to leave. I couldn't catch the roach, so I slept bundled up in a sheet until morning. Worst hotel experience I've ever had! If you're in Stockton, please do not stay here. As a world traveler looking for a hotel room near the annual Jazz Festival, Studio 6 Suites had everything I was seeking for the weekend. My room, 305, was spacious, modern, clean and well equipped. There was a full sized refrigerator/freezer, new microwave and 2 sinks. Coffee is also provided. And if you need toiletries, snacks, ice cream, candy, popcorn or frozen entrees, you can purchase them in the lobby. I forgot my swimsuit but there is a pool for recreation. The staff was accommodating and knowledgeable of the area. I loved that the parking lot is secured and well lit. I gave 4 stars because the light over the vanity sink does not project on the face. So as a tip bring your own makeup mirror. Also, I could have used a soap dish but I simply used a paper cup. I will definitely choose this hotel again over the higher priced hotels surrounding the park and government buildings. Overall it was a favorable experience. read more

The Hotel is modern and the rooms are nice for this level of Hotel. The review is indicative of our stay. 1. We left the room for 12 hours and upon our return at 8:30pm the room had NOT been cleaned. I called the Reception and was told they could not and would not clean it. If I wanted it cleaned I would've needed to ask... no one told me I needed to ask upon check in. I've been to 28 Countries, I'm well travelled... this is a first. With MUCH hesitation, they agreed to change our room. The new room had a hair in the shower from some other guest and even the following day after it had been cleaned the hair was still there. Also, whoever cleaned our room did NOT give us new towels... If you don't mind single ply toilet paper great.... But if you want something better, bring your own. Also they do not have Facial Tissue to even blow your nose. The area around the sink has hardly any lighting (quite dark) so putting in your make up in the dark was not easy. We (a family of 4) spent one night there. It's been remodeled and it's clean. For the price and it was only one night, it's worth it.

We've always had good night stays here its a few blocks away from the movie theater and within blocks of several favorite restaurants. Can't complain nice and clean beds hardwood floors and soothing showers. Bigger than expected rooms nice Android TVs and full size refrigerator and microwave too. read more

This place is awesome. There rooms are clean. There sheets and towels are actually white and not stained like other motels are. The staff are very friendly. The owners show such excellent hospitality to make their guests feel at home here. It's quiet here no drug traffic or people wondering around getting into something. Roaches. The type that are not scared. My first room started leaking water from the ceiling. They gave me a 15% discount. I booked for two nights. Second room had blood stains on the sheets. All problems they should not have for the prices that they are charging. It's newly remodeled the rooms are nice. The rooms facing the water front are the best. Housekeeping looks miserable. The hotel is an infested with roaches and bedbugs. We arrived around midnight and there were several individuals outside smoking out of glass pipe. The room smell like cigarettes smoke and a strong smell of Clorox. There was a roach crawling on the wall which make think about the cleanliness. I look under the blankets and seen a bedbug and black dots/stains. I got my stuff and got out! I asked the front staff for a refund but they refused and didn't want to go into the room so that I could show them what I was talking about. They didn't look surprised. If I can put a no star review I absolutely would. I was supposed to check in today. When I walked in a gentleman was walking out I'm guessing he seen my two dogs in the car and decided to come back in to " check me in ". I told him I was checking in he went ahead and asked me first how much my dogs weigh I said 40 lb and 55 lb (which totals 95 lb) he gave me a smirk and shook his head and said unfortunately they can't wait over 35 lb and that it would be $20 to $30 per dog per night. He was extremely rude and unprofessional. I did also inform him and stated that I have letters and paperwork from both my psychiatrist and my therapist that my dogs are in fact my certified ESA. He said he can probably accommodate me one time and I said "I may have to extend one night so no it's okay because I do not want to have the same problem if I need to extend". He then told me I don't have to be rude and that the property has policies. I completely understand the properties have policies but I have stayed at many motel 6 and studio 6 and I've haven't heard of this. read more

Then second room we were got back from dinner and went to get in the bed and found bed bugs. Third room had dirty sheets and spiders and last one there was a crack pipe in the drawer. I was in Stockton on a business trip and stayed at this Suite 6 because of all of the great reviews. They were not wrong. The people that own this motel are extremely nice, and also accomodating if there are any problems. My flight was delayed and I didn't get there until 7AM, and they allowed me to stay that first night for free. I stayed for a week. The room was very clean and it had a full sized refrigerator, microwave, wall mounted TV right in front of the king sized bed, with HDMI connection if needed. The bed was comfortable with plenty of pillows. USB charging ports and 2 outlets on either side of the bed. Housekeeping was great and kept the room spic and span. It was a little noisy sometimes, but I slept like a baby every night. I highly recommend this motel if you need a place to stay in Stockton. The price was right, too. read more

First time to Stockton, one of the most dangerous cities in the U.S. 1. Honestly, this city is a bit terrifying. I checked in and got into my room. 2. As someone else mentioned, the room reeked of bleach. 2. The rooms face into a courtyard. I heard sirens three times in the first 15 minutes I was there. There is a lock and then some sort of contraption that is supposed to provide extra protection. It's a piece of metal screwed into the door. The screws were loose. The paint on the door where it would meet the contraption was worn off a bit. Clearly, someone had tried to force the door open. My mind wandered to some meth-head forcing his way in to rob me, and perhaps kill me. I've traveled all over and I am not squeamish, but I knew I would not be able to fall asleep. It does not give off a secure vibe. This whole room doors facing a courtyard where literally anyone can bang on your door is OK if you are in a safe are, I suppose. Here, it is terrifying. I booked a room at an actual hotel with a lobby and security. I lost the money I spent on "Studio 6"; i.e., Motel 6. I don't care. I may have saved my life. read more

The worse experience with my family over the weekend. We thought we were staying in a safe place with our family for a softball tournament. The website looks great but be careful, they do a great job with the representation on the website. The place is literally across the street from the Stockton police department and they still have security guards patrolling the parking lot, that should've been a red flag. We checked in and the entire place smell like marijuana. It was disgusting and very disappointing. We asked for a money back which he denied because we had walked in the room to see the inside. We had rented two rooms that were next to each other we end up living and not getting our money back for both rooms. I was very disappointed because I told the Manager which I think he was the owner of the property that we didn't feel safe and were disappointed with all the people smoking marijuana throughout the parking lot, he said it was legal and they couldn't do anything about it . The Motel is basically a Motel 6 why they call it Suite is beyond me . If you have a family I don't recommend you stay there with your love ones ... read more

Driving up was scary! I debated staying. We actually drove around it. Parking is plenty , just not really safe. Office attendant Mike was super nice and helpful, even came to help us with TV. Room was clean and smelled clean, I'll give credit for that as they don't know what rooms will be booked to be cleaned. Just the noise over night and talking and laughing sounded as though people were in room with you. I will be honest.. I don't know that I'd stay there again. My family and I stayed the week at this establishment and we're so happy to have stayed here. I initially was worried to stay here due to the location. Downtown Stockton is wild but then again, all of Stockton is wild lol. The location wasn't too bad at all. Our room was simple and nice. The bathroom was obviously remodeled. It's nicer than my own bathroom lol. We reloacted to this hotel from the Best Western off of March Lane due to major issues we came across. At this hotel, we didn't have issues. Our room was cleaned every day. Outside of the hotel was clean. I loved that we were just a few steps away from Dutch bros, Sonics, and the police station. The people who worked at the front desk were super nice and I honestly can't get over how good it smelt inside the hotel lobby lol. This is a motel 6, do not let the description fool you. The room was dirty as were the sheets that had pubic hair on them from last visitor. Cable was not working, no shampoo/conditioner, heater was inoperable. Very loud location hearing the train running and loading most of the night.
