I told the desk person when I went to complain about everything that wasn't working and she said "oh it's been in the website for 4 months" I looked again on the website and there is nothing saying there is a remodel going on. I had gone to the elevators and neither were working and there was no information regarding how you could exit. I paid a premium for this hotel and didn't get my moneys worth at all. I want a discount for the inconvenience. I know things happen but aren't elevators supposed to be checked regularly so this situation doesn't happen? I would not recommend this hotel ant all. Next day: This hotel is in Stockton. I'm in room 343 tonight as well. I just returned to my room and it hasn't been made up. I was walking g down the stairs and noticed an older woman struggling with large luggage from a floor above mine so I helped her even thought I have back problems as well and would help if I had an elevator. No need to drive around or worry about parking after watching grown men dramatically suplex each other for our entertainment. Overall, I'd give the hotel a solid 4/5 for the price. The location was great, the hotel had a nice waterfront setting, and for what we paid, I felt like we got a pretty good deal. However, I have one major complaint: THE ROOM WAS HOTTER THAN HELL'S SUMMER VACATION. The AC was set to 65°F, which I assumed meant the room would eventually become a refreshing little refrigerator. Instead, the room apparently decided it was training for the WWE main event. At one point in the afternoon, the temperature climbed all the way up to 80°F. Eighty. Degrees. Meanwhile, the thermostat was sitting there proudly displaying 65°F like it had personally accomplished something. I began to suspect the air conditioner was less of an appliance and more of a decorative wall ornament. At that point, I was sweating harder than the wrestlers across the street. Aside from the room temperature saga, we had a good stay and enjoyed the convenience of being directly across from the Arena. For the price, I'd stay here again, but next time I'm bringing a thermometer, a portable fan, and possibly a small team of HVAC technicians.

I would give it one star out of five stars. I attempted to complete Mobile Check-In at 4:00 p.m. and use the Mobile Key feature, which is one of Marriott's signature conveniences. However, I received a notification that I needed to stop by the front desk to verify my ID due to a system upgrade. While inconvenient, I understood and arrived at the hotel around midnight. Unfortunately, the check-in experience was poor. The night auditor did not greet us or offer a welcome. Instead, he immediately asked for my ID and credit card without any hospitality. After returning my ID and credit card, he never provided room keys. When I mentioned that I had not received them, he insisted that he had already given them to me and stated that the Mobile Key "should work," but could not guarantee it. Rather than resolving the issue professionally, he appeared more interested in arguing than assisting. Once we entered the room, the experience only got worse. The room had a strong musty odor and felt dated. The bathtub contained hair, and there was a false eyelash on the bathroom sink, making the cleanliness of the room very questionable. The bathroom fixtures are clearly overdue for replacement, the sink drained extremely slowly, and both the sink and shower had very poor water pressure. Overall, this property is in desperate need of a full renovation, from the guest rooms to the plumbing fixtures. More importantly, the staff would benefit from additional customer service training to provide a more welcoming and professional experience. I would not stay at this Courtyard again, nor would I recommend it to others until significant improvements are made.

I went to shower and the counter top looked as if it wasn't cleaned in a while, I tried to wipe it down and I was wrong. It was stained dirty and wouldn't come off. When I was showering, I accidentally touched the wall and you could feel the sliminess on the wall. Then I looked around at the makeshift kitchen and there was hair in the fridge and the counter top was falling apart. I hope this place gets remodeled or shuts down. I will never trust pictures of rooms at Extended Stay ever again. If I could put a negative number this place would get a -5.

I was literally watching the roach crawl around the sink as I was on the phone with him! There are already a few reviews of roach and bed bug sightings here. This is NOT a new occurrence. And if there is one roach, there must be more. The rep continued to say that there were no other rooms available to put me in. Further, he stated that I could simply leave and by doing so, I MAY only receive a partial refund. I had only been in the room maybe 2-3 hours??? To add, he said that the manager would be out until Monday, a day after I check out. So, essentially, I could leave and risk not being refunded. The entire conversation was dismissive. Felt totally invalidated. Didn't even offer to at least spray the area. At this point, it was late and I didn't have transportation to leave. However, during the time of my booking, there were no other hotels aside from this one. It's easy enough to get to the location. The front desk is in the same room as where they held the breakfast. Upon checking in, the front desk was really nice and informed me that currently, the hotel is undergoing renovations, so he apologized in advance if there was noise. After I got my keys, I moved my car from the front to the side nearest to my room. The moment I entered the room, I was surprised I was in 2 queens when I booked 1 king. After i was laying iut my stuff, I saw some moldy towels in the bathroom some moldy towels by the bathtub, folded. Then the bath towels for me to use on a shelf on top of the toilet, which was dusty. The body wash was on the tub because the attachment to the wall was broken. There was no soap lying around either. I called the front desk and informed what I saw. He was embarrassed and quickly went to my room. HOWEVER, as soon as I opened the door, I noticed something crawling. Taking a step back, something was on the top of my door. It's a bug I've never seen before. It's not a roach nor a grasshopper. Not even a beetle of a june bug. Anyway, I left my door open a little since the bug was trying to crawl out, but it stayed on top. I quickly bolted to go outside until the clerk came and told him about the bug. He went to get a tissue and flicked it away. To where? I HAVE NO IDEA. Then suddenly, someone came to my door to check if everything was okay. I don't know if it was a guest or just some random person. But, thankfully, I wasn't alone in the room. There was an option to move rooms but it'll be closer to the construction so I declined and stayed in my room. I went out afterwards and as I was turning to exit the premises, someone was being arrested in front of the hotel. When I came back I sprayed and clean the room and beds. At night as I was about to rinse, spiders crawled out of the bath tub drained. Then throughout the night my door handle was turning. I don't know if it's someone who's drunk but for it to repeat multiple times was alarming. I barely slept and reached out to my company to change my lodgings. Thankfully, they did. It was far but I didn't mind. I wouldn't put a price on my safety. The next day, the front desk told me the cops in the area was normal but the situation in my room and that door handle was too much. They didn't charged me for the next day even if I was minutes after check out time which was nice. I've stayed at La Quinta at other cities but this was by far the worst. I will not be coming back to this location.
