Walking into the place is a little confusing and so much going on, like they need a remodel with the guest check / receptionist, and behind them a walk way for others in the building getting to one side to the other, withoutblocking the flow of traffic. But I dont judge them at all, just was screaming for traffic flow, and receptionist work space. And before I forget , a Shout out to JOEY, I swear it was Joey, I am terrible at names... Tall ... just leave it at that dude was tall.. nice guy, didnt talk much, but then again they are pretty focused on the job at hand. gave me a almost prefect cut, as he was shaving my side, he shaved my side burns right off.. all good, they grow back fast anyways. and when he did my beard my wife said it was off one side, but I still liked and felt good. You have to understand unless you get an instructor which i had once, but he was showing techines on my hair.. to students, so I doubt they do that often? My point is these are college kids/adults/people. They are there learning and growing doing something most of them love and have a real passion for. Give them a chance. I received a chemical service at this school. The day before, I asked about a strand test. The…read moreinstructors agreed one would be done before any chemical was applied to my full head. On the day of the service, no strand test was performed. The student applied bleach to my entire head without testing a small section first. During the process, another student asked if they were going to check the condition of my hair. The student doing my hair said they would check "later" and laughed. The instructors came over and looked at my hair. They did not test the integrity. They did not stop the service. They encouraged the student to keep going. I trusted the professionals to have the expertise to handle my hair as I am not a pro myself. The student rinsed my hair with hot water. My hair became severely damaged and broke off. After the service, when the instructor cut my hair, they admitted it was "so damaged it had to be cut that short." I lost 13 inches of length. For about a week afterward, my neck and scalp were tender from rough handling. The student treated my head like a separate mannequin head rather than a head attached to an actual human person. I have filed complaints with the BBB and the state board.
