I've never went to a salon that's doesn't wash the hair before ANY CUT! Also this is the result I'm very particular on who touches my hair the stylist cut dry and continued to say I had straight hair like no lady if you would have washed my hair you would notice that is was curly! Secondly in mid cut she says let's actually wash you hair like what idk but now I'm afraid my hair is to short and when my hair gets wet and drys naturally it's going to be too short never again! read more

I'm extremely disappointed with the last experience I had at this salon. I brought my daughter in for a simple short bob cut, and the stylist, Elianna, ended up cutting one side (the left) noticeably shorter than the other. At first I thought it might just be the way she styled it, but once we got home, it was obvious how uneven it really was. I felt so embarrassed for my child having to walk around like that. I reached out to the salon and they agreed to fix it, scheduling me for 2:30 PM. However, I wasn't actually seen until 3 PM. That's a full 30 minutes of waiting, Extremely unprofessional, especially when appointments are supposed to be booked and managed properly. I had my two-month-old baby with me, and it's hard enough going out with an infant, let alone having to sit and wait that long. When I asked about the delay, the receptionist just told me she didn't realize the previous appointment would take so long , it was for curly hair, and as someone with curly hair myself, I know those appointments can run long. That should have been scheduled better. Caitlyn continues to be my go-to person for anything hair related. I love that the salon is such a welcoming space and that they make their customers feel comfortable during their visit. On my latest visit I was warmly welcomed in when I walked in and offered a drink right away. One of the stylists made me an amazing coffee, it wasn't anything fancy but it was exactly what I needed and was nice and hot! I also love that they work as a team here, even though I've only booked with Caitlyn they'll help each other out. I've seen two people blow dry a client with really long, thick hair. I've had Caitlyn work on my color with another stylist to show them the technique. I've also had other stylists step in to help rinse my color. To me, this is a sign that the salon is a great place to work and that everyone is there for one another to make the clients happy. They use a lot of great products here as well and every few visits I splurge to buy some to bring home. They are always happy to recommend products, but are never pushy. While I only come here for hair, they also do lashes, extensions and other services. Definitely check them out if you're in the area. read more

I been getting my hair done for years and this is probably the most I have ever paid for my hair. To begin with I modeled for a hair show so I booked my appointment with Patty thinking she was going to do the same thing she did for the hair show.I have been hesitant to leave a review because it's been over a year but one I felt overcharged, and it was done wrong. Also I came from the Bay Area and when I sent her pictures I thought she was going to fix it for free. Nope she still charged me another $100 +. So taking time off work and driving back to Stockton. I probably spent $500. Thankfully Raquel is amazing so I went back to her for my haircut and color. read more

I am so disappointed! I don't often write reviews but I would like to save anyone else from having an awful experience. I went in for a consultation with a "blonding expert" and she told me she could get me to the color I wanted. She gave me a price and I was comfortable with it so I called back to book an appointment. I went in for the appointment and was glad that they work in teams because I am usually at the salon for 10+ hours when getting my hair done. Everything was going well and she kept reassuring me that the bleach was lifting great and never raised any concerns. She did mention she was going to charge me a bit more because I have a lot of hair. When she was done I asked if she could give me a little trim and thin out my hair. She gave me a Mullet! She basically cut off all my hair in the front and 4 inches off the back. If that wasn't bad enough, once I got a look at my hair it was yellow. Half of my hair was grown out since I hadn't gotten my hair done in over a year. And I assume anything I did have, was chopped off with the hair cut. Every wash, the hair looks worse. My hair is multiple different colors and the worst being a gold right in the middle. She said it was from a previous root color but my hair was grown out way past where the awful yellow color is. My hair is not only chopped off but also yellow. Also, it is so damaged, it breaks even to the touch. This experience completely destroyed me. It is going to take my hair a year or more to recover and now I can't do anything to fix it because it is so damaged. Not to mention, I paid over $1,000 for this service. I have been getting my hair blonde for 8 years now. I have NEVER paid that much even with more growth. I was also charged $300 more than what was quoted to me. Which is not a "bit" more like I had agreed to. I will say, everyone is very nice and the salon is beautiful but I would not trust them near me again with bleach services or shears. read more

I received what I thought was going to be a Rëzo cut for curly hair from Patricia Ayala, which is extremely expensive. I asked for fringe and it was cut wet, 2 inches too short and never blended with the rest of my hair. I'm at two months now after my cut and my bangs barely reach the middle of my forehead. It will be a solid 6 months before I can go to another hairstylist to try to get them fixed. This is the worst nightmare for a curly head. read more

I've been to this salon a few times for me and my two daughters. They don't give good haircuts. All three of us have thick hair and asked for specific cuts. The stylist, Camille talked us all out of cutting too much for fear of us not liking it. I had to ask a couple of times to please keep thinning and take the weight out of the hair and still it ended up too heavy for the layers and movement I was looking for. This salon spends a lot of time on social media creating amazing reels and reservoir dog fashion shoots. They delete your comments instead of answering their customers concerns. Not experienced. They need to up their game in cutting hair and connecting with their clientele. Will not be going back. read more

I am loving this new salon! It is BEAUTIFUL! Plus, the girls who are running the show know what they are doing and have really added some nice, little touches to the space to make it unforgettable. Like filtered water in the rinse station - I never would have thought to Brita my hair! Really though, it's clear that they care about their business, their clients, and their employees. Caitlyn is the only person I'll let touch my hair nowadays and, as always, she did a great job. Her station is right by the window which at first was intimidating because when your hair is foiled up you don't really want the world to see you, but it was nice to watch the hustle and bustle of downtown. She takes wonderful care of her clients and really takes the time to listen to what you want in a hair cut or color. I'll post her business card in the photos ;) The prices are regular salon prices (I think?) and I wasn't shocked or caught off guard when I handed my credit card over. You get what you pay for, in my opinion, so if you just want to hop in a chair and have your hair lobbed off really fast then no, this probably isn't the place for you. But if you want to take the time to have a consultation and learn about your hair and feel almost like you're being treated at a spa (did I mention they'll feed you wine?) then this is the spot for you. There's a parking lot directly across the street (and a bar, if you're interested) that charges I think $2 an hour or something cheap. The area is pretty well-lit so I didn't feel uncomfortable walking around when it was dark outside and felt completely comfortable walking around in the daytime. The place is situated on the corner of Weber and California on the same side as Trail coffee. The building and place itself is beautiful and full of natural light. I'm happy to have another boutique hair salon in the city. The salon was clean and organized. The feature wall is full of products and the style of the salon was minimal chic. They do have some clothing, with the salon name branded, displayed for customers to purchase. Personally it's not my taste and it's a bit weird to see it for a beautiful salon lol You can book on Vagaro and they do require a deposit of half. I made this appointment for my mom as she has never gotten her hair done like this before. I booked for partial highlights, no hair cut. The hair stylist Elena was amazing and professional. She did a good job completing the look & listened to what I had envisioned for my mom's hair. My mom said she was kind & her service was great!! They allowed me to stay in the waiting area and I wore my mask. They offered me and my mom something to drink. The only downside is parking. You do have to pay for street parking and the meter only let you do 1 hour at a time. I was lucky since my mom is the one getting her hair done but what if you came alone and need to get adjust the time. The prices were okay and on the mid high side. It felt a bit a la carte. I honestly didn't like how the salon had additional pricing if materials were over the suggested amount because my mom's hair was quite short. Some stylists in other salons give you one overall price, which I prefer. The estimated price was just as the same for me (with other salon) and I have way longer/thicker hair than my mom with more a balayage technique. Based on their estimate, I felt it costed more that I expected. read more

The customer service was good. The people were friendly and the environment was nice. I got a cut from Isabel. Personally wasn't a fan of the cut. I wanted like a 90s cut with face framing layers. It was not blended and very choppy. The face framing pieces were too thick in my opinion. I've gotten similar cuts in the past from other salons that I loved. I noticed her technique was different from how they did it but I trusting the process. Two of the photos are Inspo pics and the mirror one is right after it was "styled". I just had a lovely time here! Caitlyn did a wonderful job with my hair and was so informative and friendly with me. The salon was so clean and you just felt so safe in the atmosphere. They're very self aware and great with keeping up with covid prevention procedures, only unlocking the door for customers who booked appointments and making sure to sanitize right after having a customer at a station, which for someone who has bad pandemic anxiety, felt so securing. TOTAL PIECE OF CRAP. It was my first time at this Hair- Salone. I had an appointment at 10:AM, I was there on time, my hair styler was a nice girl with a low level of confidence. They put three times color on my hair, I thought they're professional and know what they were doing. They worked on my hair from morning 10 AM-4:30 PM. However, the end result was so disappointing. I was shocked to see myself in the mirror (attached a pic). They made me a piece of crap. My hair looks as ugly as possible. I paid them $345 for a haircut+partial lights, but I feel so regretful. The owner of this business must know that customers pay money to get a good service, not to be disappointed. Money is not everything you should focus on, please put some effort into your service. I would never recommend this place to anyone, please don't waste your energy here. It's an absolute waste. read more

I've waited for a while to post this since elena haven't responded to my email yet but here it is. Elena is such a lovely artist and I felt comfortable throughout the whole session. My hair was thick and healthy and I just wanted to get the ends of my hair snipped off, some layers, and to get my balayage retouched. But after I got out of the salon I immediately noticed some damages to my hair. I thought to myself, I'll give it a couple days for my hair to regain some oils in even though i've never had to do that in my previous experiences with other salons. My hair was once my confidence boost and now is a source of insecurity. I have to put it up in a bun or an updo everytime I wake up. The left side of my face has a huge chunk of hair hanging out and is not even with my right side. there's two strands of hair noticeable when I put it up in a ponytail. My whole head is so dry and damaged which is another disappointment since I also got a treatment in. I came back with more split ends than what I came in with. I'm so hopeless and and now scared to get in any salons to fix my hair after this. I've also then got the olaplex (which is EXPENSIVE) to try and fix my hair myself but nothing. The worst thing is that i've had to celebrate my birthday with this hair. Everyday I wake up and see myself in the mirror wishing I hadn't gone here and i'm now just waiting for it to grow back. I want to get my money back but I've yet to hear back from them so I'm not hopeful about that. Just sharing my experience here now. read more

I came here for the first time. I got an appointment to get my bangs cut .... specifically curtain bangs. I got set up with elena. I looked her up on instagram and got excited to see she recently did some curtain bangs on someone and they looked nice. I get in the chair and shes trying to sell me on all kinds of services .... it was annoying and a bit insulting as she commented on my white hairs which I have absolutely no issue with but glad to see she did... kinda rude and annoying but I let it slide. As shes cutting my hair I cant help but feel like shes cutting way too much off my bangs but I trusted her and let her do her thing. The haircut took way too long and looked worse. I wasn't happy with it but I'm the kind of person who doesnt care too much about a bad haircut I can usually just go home and style it to something I like. I went home and washed my hair I WAS HORRIFIED! My bangs looked worse now that I washed them and completely unmanageable it was like I chopped a chunk of hair off myself .... I honestly could have done it better myself. No matter what I do I cant get it to not look horrendous and sadly theres nothing I can do to fix it. Safe to say I'm never coming back heres a before and after. The haircut itself is bad but the bangs take the cake. I recommend going literally anywhere else I'm so depressed. read more

Stay clear from this salon. It looks nice and they charge based on the appearance of their salon but looks are very deceiving. The stylists do are not trained and do not know how to cut hair. I had my hair cut here and I had a picture of the specific style I wanted. When I booked my appointment I was assured that the stylist I had an appointment with had the expertise to perform the cut. I showed the stylist the picture and she assured me that she could do that cut. After 3 attempts and pulling a trainer over to assist, they were unable to even come close to the style I requested. The owner was checking the customers out and when I went up to pay for the services, she asked me how it went. I sighed and showed her the picture of the cut I requested and then I pointed to my hair. She asked if I wanted the stylist to recut my hair and I told her no as she had already done so 3 times and had a trainer assist. The owner was unapologetic and did not even offer to rectify the situation. She just asked for payment of the remaining balance. This hair salon is about persona and not customer satisfaction or experience. Just believe the negative comments you see regarding this salon. They are true. I am not happy with my hair at all... and for $400... I've never been to a salon but I showed her pics of exactly what I wanted. I told her I wanted my whole head highlighted and she convinced me that my base color is nice and that she thinks partial highlights would look better.. Then I told her since we're not highlighting my whole head, I don't want it as bright as the picture, I want it to be warmer so that it'll blend nicely with my base. She asked how I part my hair and I told her that I naturally part my hair on the side and she parted down the middle to bleach my money pieces..? Now when I part my hair normally it looks weird.. When she took the foil off of my money pieces I wanted to cry, my hair was falling out and destroyed. All she said was my hair lightens fast. When her coworkers walked by and asked what I'm going for she said "as light as possible!" when that is not what I asked for, I walked in asking for full balayage and highlights.. i feel so ugly and taken advantage of that I wasn't listened to at all. When she suggested a partial highlight I should've said no I want what's in the picture like I showed. My money pieces are straight up yellow and the rest of the "balayage" is cool toned. When she started rinsing the bleach out of my money pieces and brushing it, it felt like she was actually just yanking all of my hair out of my scalp, starting from the roots. I felt helpless. $400 for this..... What I wanted, what I walked in with, the process, then the end result. read more
