They're welcoming at all…read more There's an ongoing joke that tattoo spots these days make it feel like they're inconvenienced by walk-in and I never experienced it until I visited this spot, except I was attending a Friday the 13 flash event. The tattoos were not great quality either. My artist which I believe is the owner or one of the main guys gave me attitude when I asked if he could make my tattoo half and inch small. Then I asked if he could rotate it as in physically turn it before placing it and he got annoyed again, said I'd have to pay extra if I'm going to be asking for all that. I explained it wanted it at 90 degree angle vs how how was going to place it. He wouldn't need to make any further changes. Obviously it was a misunderstanding but the way he spoke to me was not friendly at all. But the real issue was how bad the tattle was, didn't look like what was on the flash sheet at all. On the sheet it looked like fine line and well. Just look at my picture to see the issue. You can hardly read the inner part which was supposed to say Veneno. Overall it just came out sloppy and I'm genuinely embarrassed by it. I lie to folks and say that it's supposed to look like that to give spooky vibes but in reality that's not how the tattoo was portrayed on the flash sheet, I think they tatted a little too deep too.

I understand that everybodies anatomy is different and it could cause a slight tilt on the piercing but it's been weeks since I got the piercing and looking at it now with no more swelling or redness it is almost ridiculous how off the piercing is. It's very obvious and disappointing how crooked it is. I even went home to my home piercer and even he left a comment saying that it was done very poorly. Loved the service and friendliness but unfortunately Im going to take out the piecing let it heal and then get it redone somewhere else. I want to prefaced that I really hate leaving a bad review and I tried to convince myself that it was fine but honestly just the comments I get from my friends and even another piercer about how it looks just kind of made me feel like I needed to share my honest experience.

He immediately puts on some chill ass island music to ease your nerves before the blasting. You tell him what you want, he sketches it on the spot, on where you want it, and he does his magic. "Addicted" is a strong word, but one that I'm reminded of when frequently looking at Dannie's tattoo portfolio on either IG or FB. His tribal-art-inspired portraits and tropical designs are just magnetic and beautiful for its appreciation of simplicity. His use of color is just right, enough to give a pop to tribal tattoos. My whole family and I went in on New Years Eve and Leo, Kenny, and Dom hooked us all up with some amazing art work. The prices are great and the environment in the shop was cool and relax the guys are real down to earth. They took our ideas and made them better then we could of asked for. They aren't only tattoo artist but they actually do some awesome art work to. Their paintings and drawings are all over the shop. Leo did my tattoo, he did a great job on my shoulder piece. He made the colors just pop out. I get the most compliments on his piece then my other 5 tattoos. He took the 3 set colors i wanted and blended them so they flow together. He also was able to connect my to arm tattoos together just like i wanted. I've been to several different shops here in San Diego and Chula Vista, and Studio 767 is the only one I would recommend to my friends and other family members. When ever you get a chance walk in and talk to the guys and get some work done. read more

This was my first time going to this tattoo place, i would usually go to Lefty's tattoo shop but it was a bit pricey so i started to look around and i found this place close by where i live and i read the reviews here on yelp and they were really good so i decided to give it a look and let me tell you it was super great! the tattoo artist "Buddha" is the best! he did two pieces for me and they come out to freaking nice! they had music in the background to get you nice and relaxed and into the mood, i was greeted when i walked in, place is super clean and so are they with their equipment and the people there are so friendly! i highly recommend this place i got both of my tattoos for $120 and i was more that satisfied with the results! read more

Visiting family in Chula Vista from Riverside, so my brother in law helped me find this place. We instantly liked Kenny because he was laid back and didn't try to pressure us. I liked that he wasn't too busy (it was a Wednesday afternoon) and calmy listened to what I wanted. He copied the picture of what I wanted out of a book, blew it up and before he even started he gave me a quote. He integrated the tat I got with my existing one and even added to it when it was done. He joked around and said sorry when it hurt! He's a great artisit with a great attitude, which goes a long way. Don't take my word for it: go check out his portfolio. I had a really disappointing experience at this tattoo shop. The staff seemed disorganized and rushed through the consultation. The artist didn't follow the design I approved and the final result looks sloppy and uneven. Hygiene also seemed questionable, which made me uncomfortable. I tried to express my concerns, but they were dismissive and unprofessional. Now I'm stuck with a tattoo I regret. I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone looking for quality or care. I saw Saira for 2 tattoos yesterday. She was awesome! She sketched the tattoo I wanted on my shoulder and chest. We talked and laughed and I felt really comfortable being there, she has really light touch and it was easy to have my work done. She made my work beautiful.
