They were very accommodating when it came to turning over a set of prints quickly, despite having technical problems (they were waiting on the arrival of a new printer that day, so I imagine that's no longer an issue.) The owner was kind and friendly, we had a wonderful conversation while I was waiting for my prints. When I realized that the prints weren't quite to my supervisor's specifications, an error that was primarily my mistake, Legacy agreed to reprint for me and turned them around on the very same day. Overall my experience working with them has been very enjoyable despite the hiccups. This is a locally owned business that I would highly recommend!

An employee showed up about ten minutes later and said the owner had left, locking her phone and keys in the store. After waiting a few more minutes the owner showed back up, giving no explanation or apologies. To make matters worse, my images were not ready as I had been told the day before and I had to wait another 45 minutes for them to find the images, print a proof and burn a cd. I will more than likely be looking for a new place next time I want to have some of my paintings scanned.

We were in Galveston this week for a class reunion and decided to spend some time on the Strand. I…read morewas wondering if we could find the Christmas store that I visited years ago and sure enough the Strand Brass and Christmas on the Strand was still there! I collect Christmas ornaments from all of the places we visit and I was able to find a cute palm tree ornament for under $10. I also found one to give to my daughter for taking care of my dogs while I was gone. They have tons of beach themed ornaments as well as many other kinds. The front part of the store has some really nice collectibles that are not Christmas themed. The ladies at the front counter were very nice, and they packed up our ornaments so they would not get broken. This is a very cute place to spend some time, and the margaritas a few doors down from them aren't bad either!

She responded that she wasn't totally pleased with the yellows at the moment, but that the peach-colored roses looked outstanding. At that point I said "You're the expert; please just make me look good." And did she ever. Never mind that I called an hour later and asked to delay the delivery until a day later. And never mind that half of the streets were under water on delivery day. Blushing Blooms took great care in arranging a beautiful bouquet of just-cut flowers and buds, and brought it to the front door with a smile. I think I've found my forever florist.
