A must order. 4/5: The smoked catfish dumplings $24 have great flavor, but the wrapper is mushy and not QQ. It comes with a super greasy fried bread, which is great for mopping up the sauce, but I'd rather have QQ wrapper dumplings. 4/5: Rooted Fire cocktail $20. A sophisticated savory cocktail with pepper notes. 3/5: Pretzel and banana dessert $16. Overhyped. It has an interesting shatteringly-crisp chocolate crust, but the filling is meh. Just like all hotel-based restaurants, you need to wander through a labyrinth to get to the restrooms.

We booked out the semi-private dining area for a corporate event that had a sizeable upfront cost commitment. The restaurant does a fancy take on southern cuisine. The highlight definitely was the chicken drumstick that was remade with a spice-and-meat mix and fried on a bone for presentation. Personally not a fan of warm oysters. The catfish dumplings were interesting to try. Deviled eggs can never do harm but aren't what I'd consider a fancy food item. The steak served at the end of the menu was delicious, but we were so full of the smaller nibbles that no one was able to finish the serving. The champagne served was great, the wine was okay. The staff was very friendly. To get to the restroom you have to walk through a backdoor and halfway through the connecting hotel.

They have indoor and outdoor seating and it seems like most people decided to sit outside. This left the bar seating with just us and it made it quite an awesome experience. The staff was super attentive and kept our drinks and water topped off. For our anniversary they did have some special little cookies and a flower vase with Happy anniversary on it. The seating was very open and place had a nice clean interior. Also did I say again it was quiet Staff was super knowledgeable and helped us pick out some appetizers. We ordered the Brentwood corn fritters and an off menu charcuterie plate. Really enjoyed both and both worth ordering. The entrees were probably my only real disappointment with this place. Ratatouille was really boring and with the added chicken it seems like they made the plate smaller. I really love squash and there was barely any on the plate. The New York strip was decent but not a fan of the fingerling potatoes. Onto the dessert and drinks. Old fashioned and lemon drop drinks were great. The extra dessert was nice. Also cheers to the Affogato with Anchor Tree coffee This place is a 4.5 for me but despite the ok entrees everything else was great!

There's plenty of seating on the patio as well as inside the restaurant with good amount of seating around the bar. The restaurant is located next to the state capitol so depending on the time and date, the location can be quite busy. There's a parking garage right across making it really convenient to park and dine. For the starters we got a beef tartare, wedge salad and Caesar salad. It was really good. Portions were really good and presentation was on point. For main entrees we had the pan seared Ora king salmon. It was the highlight of the evening. The skin on the salmon was perfectly crispy and the fish was tender and cooked really well. The roasted corn puree and pepperonata complimented the dish really well. We are looking forward to coming back in the future. If you're in the area, this is a must try!

We started with a refreshing cucumber gazpacho with shrimp, followed by amazing baked oysters. The star of the evening was the whole roasted branzino. We each enjoyed a wine flight, and the chef made the experience even more special by starting our meal with complimentary shrimp croquettes and ending it with a wonderful homemade truffle. LaSalette was an outstanding dining experience--highly recommended!

This time we went for Mother's Day and mom had the pot roast/short ribs dish and it was so delightful with the meat perfectly braised & falling apart with savory mashed potatoes and brussels sprouts. Their chocolate piri piri ice cream with some heat always delights us: we literally love it. They also always do generous little chef surprise bites (always on point & so good!) and this time it was a one-bite fried shrimp cake in a delicious red pepper sauce. The ambience is nice - whether you're inside or out on the patio - and the service is generally good (definitely could use a few more table touches to make sure people have everything they need so guests don't wait for more wine or a bill) and very kind. We are locals, and there are only a handful of restaurants we would recommend in Sonoma and LaSalette is definitely at the top of the list. 5-stars

They def knew their menu. Immediately brought water with cucumber and lemon, very refreshing. I ordered the bread with butter to start, it was excellent. That butter just melts on every bite, taking the bread to the next level. Staff recommended the Rachel pastrami. It did not disappoint. It was very simple. However the combination of the thousand Island, sauerkraut, the pastrami and buttered bread just made it so delicious. It was decently meat packed too. The sandwich came with fries which I inhaled the ketchup that they brought me extra. It also came with two types of coleslaw both were delish. They were not overwhelming with dressing. The yellow one was interesting bc I thought it was turmeric but it was slightly sweet. Delish as well. Also ordered their Italian prosecco. I'm into red wine but for some reason perhaps the environment I felt the prosecco would work and it did! It was bubbly refreshing, tasty, and not dry. Their restroom was big and clean. This is in the Jack London Village. They have parking on both ends. The village has other restaurants and wine tasting as well.

It has a cozy, rustic charm that makes you want to slow down and enjoy your meal. Here's what we tried: Lemon Drop Martini - Refreshing and well-balanced. A solid way to kick off lunch. Della Fattoria Bread - Our waiter hyped it up as "the best bread in California." Maybe my expectations were a little too high because...it was just okay to me. Good, but not the showstopper I was expecting. Brussels Sprouts - These were really good! Perfectly roasted with lots of flavor. Spicy Sweet Chili Wings - THE STAR OF THE SHOW! These were hands down the best thing we ordered. Crispy, sticky, sweet with just the right amount of heat...absolutely delicious! I'd honestly come back just for these. Clam Chowder - Creamy, comforting, and a nice starter. Bacon Cheeseburger - A solid burger that definitely hit the spot. My only real complaint? The wings. Not the flavor--the portion size. For $20, I think the order should include at least 8-10 wings. You get six (the sixth one is hiding under the garnish in my photo ), and one of them was noticeably smaller than the others. They were so good that I just wished there had been more! Overall, I really enjoyed my visit. Between the charming atmosphere, friendly service, and those unforgettable wings, I'd definitely come back again. Next time, I'll probably skip the bread and go straight for another order of those wings!

Beyond Compare - Musical Heart Strings Made Our Wedding Truly Magical!…read more Working with Gretchen and Kerry of Musical Heart Strings was one of the best decisions we made for our Tiburon wedding. We immediately wanted to work with them after seeing their website and content, and their live performance did not disappoint. They are truly phenomenal musicians! From our very first outreach, they were full of excitement and so happy to workshop unique ideas with us to make our day as special as possible. They brought two massive highlights to our wedding that our guests are still talking about. First, they were totally open to leading our recessional, playing their instruments while walking as we exited the ceremony, which gave the entire moment a beautifully joyful and light feeling. Second, they collaborated flawlessly with our DJ for a super unique grand entrance to our reception. They played live violin and cello right along with the DJ playing Glenn Miller's "In the Mood" in the background--it was incredibly fun and really got the crowd going! Gretchen and Kerry are consummate professionals whose musical abilities are beyond compare. They set the perfect ambiance and made our day unforgettable.
