Yes - I was convinced by a couple of friends that attend classes here to give it a shot. The regular hot yoga classes are 90 minutes long, but they also have express Bikram yoga classes (60 minutes) for those with less time available. Several other yoga varieties are also offered and the schedule is kept up to date online. Pay online for a single class? Yes. ($14) Pay up front for a block of classes? Indeed. There are a bunch of different packages available including unlimited annual classes or a single month unlimited. Mat and towel rentals are available as well. The website is GREAT. Easy to navigate to figure out which classes will work for your schedule along with instructor information. The staff that I came in contact with were fabulous, friendly, knowledgeable and inspiring. The facility is clean, quiet and welcoming. If you've never tried hot yoga before - it's challenging but still suitable for beginners. Make sure you're well hydrated prior to class. Bring a yoga mat, a towel and plenty of water. Wear the minimum amount of clothes that you feel comfortable with. There are shower facilities if you need them. The facility also went without heat for 2-3 months during the winter, and it was nearly unbearable to be inside there! You had to work out with a jacket and hat on! Very poor communication and management overall!!

Here's what I like: Despite Barre's reputation as skinny only and snooty, these classes are approachable and the environment is welcoming to all. You will still be motivated and worked - no pity parties here - but it's accessible to everyone and Renée makes sure form is correct so you don't get injured. And the classes are HARD. Lots of classes and a good schedule You don't get penalized for cancelation HOWEVER Book online fast bc asses do fill up. I've never seen anyone outright turned away yet, bc she has ways to adapt the room, but I wouldn't be surprised if they bump into that soon. The owner has a massage /LMT business and makes all teachers undergo her training which includes EXTENSIVE anatomy training. Trust me. Your hips and knees will notice the difference and thank you for it. Lots of gear and toys! What I don't like: parking can be a pain at times. Give yourself an extra 5 to 10 min. BUT if you're running late, let her know and she'll usually be able to set you up so you can jump right in Wish it was closer for me. I have about a 30 drive, but I make it 2 to 3 times a week usually.

Judy's classes use a lot of music, and she teaches a Kripalu style yoga that gets your energy moving evenly throughout your body. There is a close attention to the breath. I always leave her class feeling energized, balanced and relaxed at the same time, what a gift!
