This salon and my experience with Sam and Amy were amazing!! I called totally last minute needing a refresh on my burgundy color, blow dry, and even managed to have 1 inch I wanted cut off!! Sam is super friendly & knows what she's doing for sure. She dyed my hair and cut it so nicely, gave it volume. Amy told me how shes new, & did the blow out on my hair beautifully!! I have not gone local to a salon for 7 years because people have made me feel bad for the thickness in my hair in the past and did a bad job. But, Studio G, I've learned today, is definitely where I'll be going and recommending from now on. 20% your first time there, and for getting color, blow out, and a cut it was reasonably priced I feel (around $100). I never have posted a review for any place I've gone to but felt the need to do so regarding Studio G & my stylist, Brianna. I was having a hard time getting the color i wanted & the style. Had gone to many different salons with very different pay scales. I can't say enough about Studio G & Brianna. She nailed it!!! I was very happy with the results, professionalism, & cleanliness of the shop. It was my first time there & Brianna made sure she kept looking at the picture that I wanted my hair to look like. Most places I've gone to prior, you show them a picture & they never look at it again & just do what they want to do. Brianna had a lot of different steps she had to take for processing the color I wanted w/o damaging my hair. I very highly recommend this salon & Brianna. One of the best salons in the area. Not only is it a mother-daughter ran business but they do fantastic work. I have had such a hard time/experience getting my hair done from other places, even to the point where I have had stylists tell me that I have made them feel defeated as a hair dresser. Not Brianna though. She really knows what she's doing and is realistic with you and would never compromise the quality of your hair. I have been going to her for a little over five years at this point and I would never want or trust anyone else with my color. read more

By far one of the SAFEST places I've visited during the novel coronavirus pandemic. They do a thorough screening process, take your temperature, limit the amount of people allowed in the salon at all times and clean every station/tool after each customer, before allowing another customer to enter the salon. If you're looking for an experienced team of talented stylists, who are taking this pandemic seriously, I highly recommend making an appointment here. Men are supposed to go to Barber shops. Which given there is one about three doors down. The only reason i went into here is because Brie is a lovely customer of our sushi restaurant four doors down. I am really picky when it comes to who can touch my hair. But moving to Bergen county i had no choice but to either grow my hair disgustingly long, or take the risk to trust someone else to work on my hair. Must say, from the minute you walk in, you are treated like you are a very special guest. They brew coffee for you while you wait, and make you feel at home. Amy does an amazing job washing your hair. I almost fell asleep when she was shampooing it. Debbie made me feel very comfortable with having someone else work on my hair. She did an absolutely amazing job and pretty much made me look like a completely new person. She advices you on why she is doing what she is doing on your hair if you have any concerns about anything she gladly explains everything for you, like my issue with dry scalp. I LOVE this place. Have been going a few years now and they are second to none. You are made to feel welcome and like family the moment you walk in there. Debbie (the owner) has always given me a great haircut, and she is an artist when it comes to highlights and coloring. I trust her completely. All of the other girls are equally as talented. Once Melissa shampoos your hair, nothing else will ever do! There are so many good things to say about this salon, but my favorite is that the are so down to earth and not the least bit pretentious.
