I hesitated to even write this review because I didn't want to write it out of anger or what not but man never in my life have I been sooo disappointed with my hair. I swear I went to a so called "professional" to get my hair done and I turned out with a damm bird nest on my hair. And keep in mind my hair was VIRGIN HAIR!!! So because it was virgin I'm like she can't fuck this up at all she has a clean canvas to work on haha but yeah right the joke was on me!! Where to start off one my hair isn't even the color that I wanted. Yes I know she told me she wasn't going to give me that reddish color because she didn't want to give me a drastic change well either way my hair got a drastic change. She said she was going to give me a neutral color I'm sorry but I'd thought a neutral color was way different than blond hair. Let's not even mention that she told me to look up some girl she just recently had followed and told me my hair will look like that and when I seen it I'm like I like it but I don't want blonde and I specifically said I didn't want blonde because I didn't think it'll go with me it's like she didn't care and just gave me what she wanted she said the placement of the color is what I'll get. Lol that model had way better hair than me now I wished I could have gotten that blonde than the different type of blonde I have. Even then I asked for a hair cut late I said can we still do it if not that's okay and she said yes she can but keep in mind the hair cuts in that salon are for $60. I asked for a wolf hair cut she called it a shaggy hair cut but did I get that hair cut haha no I didn't. What I got was a botched hair cut because one side is longer and uneven like I thought she was going to take off length add more layers no she didn't cut my hair because it still all looks the same as when I went into the store!!!! The moment I washed my hair it was a hot mess so far washed it only 2 times. I used what she told me to use which was a blue shampoo & conditioner and to wash my hair just twice a week and use whatever dry shampoo and my hair was still tangled keep in mind I used a palm hand full of conditioner and not even that helped to detangle my hair. So as a client I reached out to her and let her know what I was experiencing because when I washed my hair and got out not only was it tangled but it felt gummy and just nasty but once again the joke is on me and instead of saying girl please send me pictures of what you're talking about or please come in so I can see for myself or use protein for your hair or hair mask something nope more than anything it was like she had an excuse for everything. The breakage that I experienced was the baby hairs she bleached so that's the damage but what was falling off wasn't my baby hairs but LONG STRANDS OF MY HAIR. Keep in mind she said when my hair is blonde, oh soo now we did blonde when I specifically asked I DIDNT WANT BLONDE!!! I also said gummy and she's basically telling me what I feel isn't gummy it's like girl you aren't feeling what I'm experiencing because I AM Experiencing it not you!! Let's not say she tried to demonstrate stuff to me but I probably been too sleepy it's like girl I wasn't sleepy I said I was because I didn't want to talk and make conversation like what do you want me to go in and be like girl don't talk to me & leave me alone haha no that's just plain ass rude.. she doesn't want me to say how she left the store with her coworkers and left me unattended with bleach on my hair. I may have had my eyes closed but I was awake and heard and saw everything. I swear it was a joke to come here I had less damage to my hair with box dye than getting it "professionally" done!! I've permed my hair and straightening it until my hair got straight even then my hair never got messed up shit my hair now is messed up!! What's most embarrassing is that a hair stylist came up to me and told me she can fix the blonde I have on my hair because I have different color blonde in my hair I'm like wow really how fucken embarrassing well there went my $300 to some girl I definitely regret now!! Let's not forget the front of my hair is soo uneven with blonde it's embarrassing!! I don't recommend anyone coming here this girl just wants your money and once you're out that's it bye she doesn't give a fuck and that's exactly how I felt. she did what she wanted to I left and now she doesn't care how my hair is now.... Just because you leave with nice condition hair doesn't mean it'll stay like that because once you wash your hair babygirl let me tell you you'll see the real results!!!! Xitlalic is the best hair stylist, I always go to her for my hair , I remember the first time I went to her I went in for a color correction becausemy old hair stylist had left my hair orange and said I had to wait 2 months to dye it again. Stylist: Marie is amazing!! It has been a long time since I felt my hair was in great hands. She listened to my concerns and goals for my hair. As she cut my hair she explained to me what she was doing and why. She noticed I had a lot of split ends and gave me tips on how to minimize them by doing a technique that is easy to do at home. She also told me about a few products that would help my hair become healthier. Hopefully in two months my hair will be in better shape and we get to do some color. I followed my barber GIO here from the last shop he was at, and I can say as amazing of a barber GIO is, this place has elevated his game , along with the stylists and other barbers now surrounding him. Everyone here along with GIO is experienced in many styles and techniques from shave fades, tapers, comb overs and if you're looking for the perfect beard GIO is the one to go to. The location itself is very clean, plenty of parking, and all well supplied with all the tools needed of any great barbershop. Giselle has been cutting my hair for about a year. My husband actually recommended me to her. He's been getting his hair cut by Giselle for about a year and a half. Before going to Giselle I didn't give my hair much thought. I got a few haircuts a year and because of that my hair was dry and brittle. At my first appointment, Giselle took the time to discuss with me the importance of getting regular trims and recommended styling products to help protect my hair. She asked me if I had any goals regarding my hair. I told her I just wanted it to grow healthier. I paid attention and did exactly what she said, I've kept all my hair trim appointments and now my hair is healthier than ever. Then in August I decided to color my hair for the first time in about 17 years. I was hesitant and didn't want it to be too extreme. Giselle was very patient with me and suggested doing balayage highlights. I loved it! I got so many compliments from my family and friends. She helped me ease into coloring my hair and now I've gone even lighter. She's amazing! Lulu is super friendly, she also cuts my husband's hair when Giselle is not available. Gio is the barber at Studio G, I just mentioned this to my husband over the weekend, just from my observations, he gives all his clients (adults and children) the same level of dedication and time. He doesn't rush it when he has a child in his chair. He makes sure to do a high quality cut with everyone who sits in his chair. I don't have children, but if I did, I'd definitely take them to Gio. Been coming here for around a year now. Giselle always does an amazing job on my hair, I wouldn't trust many barbers to do the same. The salon looks really nice and modern inside (and is air conditioned for unbearably hot days). They have a comfortable waiting area as well, where you can enjoy whatever music is on or read through magazines while you wait. The stylists here are awesome and friendly and will make you feel at home. They do all sorts of hair styling and treatments for both men and women.
