I came in to have a cut and color by Sasha, who is easy to talk to, professional, confident in her abilities, and knowledgeable about hair and hair processes. It was my first time at the salon, but I felt at ease right away and knew I could trust her suggestions, and my hair would look fantastic afterwards. And, it did!! The color is richer, and more natural than before despite going lighter, but more importantly, it felt soft and healthy and smelled wonderful, not like chemicals at all. Ok. I had an apt with Sasha but when I got there Sabina was only person and said she was my gal that day. I ask for an fairly simple hair style and instead of being told maybe she couldn't do it.. she said she could and did this to my hair. I was mortified. I didn't really get to see it all until I got home and about cried. I called back in and asked for a refund- sending my pics in as proof and I was ignored several times. I finally did get my refund but she kept my tip. Quite ironic and unprofessional keeping the tip. Sabina was nice during the apt sure but I found the result quite rude and bad business. I lost so much hair trying to wash it out and comb through - my experience was plain awful and I can not recommend this salon. read more

I came to Sabina because ppl on the fb scv iso group recommended her...i told her what I wanted and clearly said I did not want to come out with a little mermaid red hair color, and what did she do, it came out like Ariel red...different lighting makes the color different but in daylight I was ariel..even her coworker said "looks like the little mermaid", I died inside when she said that. I ended up washing my hair that same night & color came off which is a first because ive had my hair colored for so long and never has it just washed out like that and I've had red hair years ago, not the look I was going for this time..texted her and she said come in the next day I asked her to not make it so red and it literally came out a notch less red but still flaming red, again not the look I was going for. Washed my hair 2 days later and color washed out except for the top roots since she bleached that part :( and i also noticed a ton of black spots from where my roots where ..these black spots where there before I showered..i texted her today she said this happened because "of the shampoo " I used...ultimately the color she did on me was not what I asked for at all. .it was way too red...now I have to see what to do to fix this ..my firsy time ther i did not waant to make a scene since her coworker had a customers in there so i paid and left ...140 bucks down the drain...i wouldn't mine paying if the job was done right the first time but it wasn't...long story short.not happy with her work and definitely do not recommend and in no way did I ever say I was ever happy with this service read more

Went in through Groupon, and decided to try a new salon right down the street from my house. Just wanted to say I had an amazing experience with Sasha, she's very sweet and explained all my different ideas thoroughly - so I felt comfortable choosing between two highlight ideas I had. I didn't know what to expect for the haircut since I have very fine hair and sometimes hairstylists don't layer it the way I'd like, but she went beyond my expectations and this is the happiest I have been with a new haircut in years. I also liked how she took the time to do my hair color and helped me choose one that fit my exact description, plus they record your color and style in a client booklet or future reference. Not only was she knowledgeable about the style and color I wanted, but she was also very friendly and personable. She was also very helpful with suggestions on what products to use without being pushy. The price was reasonable, it's a nice establishment with plenty of parking and my hair looks great. *response to Sabina's comment* I did not want to have to go into detail but I guess I have to now. Sabina, the reason I kept going back was because I loved my extensions and yes you did a great job up until my last visit. Also as I stated I didn't realize there were so many other salons that had extension service until I was forced to look. Every time I had an appointment with you I left feeling awkward and frustrated with your unprofessional way of working. For example (I speak for myself and my experience with you only) you barely smile - never say hi or ask how am I doing- you complain about other customers to me- you would talk to your co worker and ignore me most of the time-when I would speak half the time you didn't even respond- you would text or take phone calls constantly while I was paying by the hour- you talked about a colleague in the hair industry who posted a pic of his penis on social media and looked it up with your co worker and wanted to show me (awkward) - you work very slow- when having conversations with you, you would be argumentative at times. After my last appointment which was a disaster in so many ways I called, texted, and messaged you on StyleSeat and you never responded until I left my poor review of you on yelp. You emailed me stating you would not assist me in any way because of my review. But thank you! I found someone else who is nice and very professional and is going to fix this mess. I booked an appointment with Karina for my hair styling and i'm so glad i did! I explained to her what look i was aiming for-- sexy elegant-- and she did an excellent job. She had suggestions but listened to what I wanted; she really knew what she was talking about. Karina had bad allergies the day i came in, but was professional enough to still come to work for her appointments. She's passionate with what she does and is such a joy talking to! I am new to the area so I have been looking at different salons that I can go to ..so I called and the lady that answered was SO rude to me. I told her what I wanted to have done (which was just a cut and my roots touched up) and she asked how I heard about them so I let her know it was Groupon. She told me like I was the dumbest person on the earth "well then you should know that we don't have a Groupon for that,ONLY for highlights and balayage" and I was just like ok? Nobody needs to be talked down to like that. Normally I wouldn't go out of my way to write a bad review from just a call, but she didn't even try to help me out with trying to find a person or let me know there might've just been a different price range. I waited 2 years to let my layers grow out but I needed a good haircut with long layers and I was really excited to go see Sabina. She washed my hair real quick without any conditioner then we agreed to layer my hair long starting below my chin. She proceeded to take a chunk of the right side of my hair and cut it 2 inch below my scalp. She styled my hair I left the salon with my hair frizzy and in worst condition that I came in looking for soft, shiny bouncy hair, Instead I got on short chunk of hair on the right side that does not even blend in with the rest. This was the worst hair cut I have ever got and the styling was just as bad. Now I have to wait for ever to let it grow so I can go have a real hair stylist fix it. I knew fixing my hair color was no easy task, so I wanted to find an expert and I am so glad I found Sabina, Right off the bet she understood what I desired even though it was hard for me to put it in words. I had in mind a balayage but was concerned about getting rid of the copper I had. I wanted the ombre look but wasn't sure how well it would look if not done exactly as I envisioned it. It was my first visit with Sabina and she read my mind as she knew me from before. The outcome blow me away. It looks better than I had pictured it in my mind, and believe me, I had imagined a gorgeous color, but this surpassed my expectations. My hair looks amazing, it looks sexy, it even looks healthier.
