I had never been on a reformer in my life and only taken 2 Pilates mat classes ever. The owner and trainer, Tracy, did a great job explaining moves and checking alignment. I felt safe and challenged. What a work out! They don't have any photos on the website, but the studio is spanking new and classy. There are chandeliers hanging from the black ceiling. Important when you are on your back. There are large mirrors with ballet bars. I can't wait to go back and try the barre class!

I brought this up to my injector, and they tried to say it was from dust mites... this was back in October, and it's now April and the Botox is clearly worn off at this point and so is the eye twitching. It would have meant more to me if they were just honest and said yes, that can sometimes happen, but instead of taking responsibility, they tried to pass it off as something else. Overall, it's a nice spa and the diamond package is great if you're looking for Botox every three months and monthly skin rejuvenation. I just decided in the end that I would like to save my money for more invasive and aggressive procedures like Co2 lasers which end up costing less than a yearly Medspa membership for mediocre skin procedures (facials, chemical peels, microneedling). The owner and majority of the staff are wonderful though and I would return if I were looking for more low key maintenance skincare.

I get much of my exercise in my home gym and outside when it's nice, but MN winters are not nice. It's hell out there. If you feel the same, you should checkout this place. I was browsing Groupon fitness deals and found Shape Me Group Fitness and went on their site to find out what classes they offer. There's a good variety from Zumba, Turbo Kick, Latin Hip Hop, Mat Pilates, Yoga etc. I went through with my purchase. I was nervous my first time, I went with a Zumba class. All of the instructors are really nice and don't make you feel like a beginner. They make it a point to let you know that no one cares what you look like doing it as long as you're doing it correctly and not injuring yourself. They want to make sure you're getting a good workout, and you're having fun. Which was great because I totally thought I had the moves down, then looked at myself in the mirror and I'm pretty sure I was just running in place and flailing my arms around. It doesn't matter though because everyone else is too busy keeping up, they're not watching you. The classes are always filled with a decent amount of people. You always have room, but you're never looking around like "dang I'm the only person in the mirror." The studio is a good size and you have clear views of the instructor. It's very clean, and there are bins for your personal belongings. My favorite classes so far have been Zumba in the Circuit with Ritzy. It's one minute of Zumba and one minute of machine for 50 minutes. Good stuff. Ritzy is super energetic and motivating, take one of her classes! Turbo Kick with Bao it really good too. I've learned I need to practice kicking higher. I'd never win in a kick off. Dani also works you hard in Zumba, but you feel great about your workout afterwards. All in all you won't be disappointed with any of the instructors here! P.S. For my male friends, there are men there too. Don't be shy!

Rather than being part of a chain, it's a family business, with owner Ritzy teaching many of the classes. If you have a question or a suggestion, she is always available to talk. The instructors always invite you to talk with them after class. The instructors really set the tone for relations among the customers. Their kindness and equal treatment of all means that there's no snobby competition among the students. I've seen everyone from slim, toned model types to plenty of chunky gals like me to people who are badly out of shape and only able to participate for a few minutes at a time. There is a lot of ethnic diversity, too. The studio is clean and comfortable, the cost is reasonable, and there is ample parking. The only downside is that there is not a dressing room, although there is a bathroom where you can change if you need to.

I love her Tower, Yamuna, and TRX Pilates classes. She has been a fitness instructor for many years and keeps the energy up and positive and humorous but also uses expert clinical direction for body movements and alignment. She has a keen eye for proper form and offers personal adjustments which is my favorite kind of instructor. You will see and feel results when you start coming to her classes. I also love Jennifer's jump and Power Tower classes. I can feel every muscle working and it's a guaranteed solid workout. Plus she's so kind and friendly and the classes have great sequences. I purchased a package of private Pilates sessions with Teri as a gift for someone else and they absolutely love her attention to body movement and how their body feels after a 1:1. They say there is so much more awareness throughout the day of body position and posture and that they make corrections for better support.
