I was really nervous going into this because its permanent. As I walked in the door before I even said a word I was greeted by name. Not "How may I help you" but my first name. Awe. Wow! I was offered water and instructed to " have a seat so we can put some numbing cream on you." Awesome!!! I was supper happy about that. I thought it was gonna be like any other tattoo. Suck it up! The music was current but not loud. No hip hop or country, just good easy listening. The bed was sterile and comfortable. I was offered a blanket, not because I was cold she said it would relax me. I see Brooke Turk for eyelash extensions and she is the BEST! I walk away feeling so confident because she kills it every time. She is so gentle and amazing at what she does. Third time's a charm! Did not have the greatest experiences with my previous two permament eyebrow artists over the span of 4-5 years, but I only heard good things about Reeda from other clients so I wanted to give her a shot. Waiting to see Reeda is absolutely worth it for the service she gives! My eyebrows unfortunately were sisters if not cousins even after two attempts with permament make up, and Reeda is the first one to get them balanced and even on top of my scenario of having old solid color in (color was almost faded out from previous ombré style). She really worked with me to figure out what would work best and made me felt heard but gave me professional direction. We decided to do dense hair strokes with the gun versus microblade since we had to go over old color. I've also done permanent eyeliner with Reeda and she's done a beautiful job on them. Having experienced previous work, these sessions I've had with her were basically pain free with some unavoidable pinching or tickling due to pressure of the needles. Without exaggeration my other experiences were the worst pain I've ever felt, so I could not voice enough how much I appreciate her patience in numbing me repeatedly through the session to make sure I was okay. It's also hard to not mention how cute, stylish and inviting her studio is. Even though it's facing out right on Shell Beach Road I've been able to find parking right in front of the studio each time. I'd definitely recommend Reeda to friends who are considering permanent make up and can't wait to see her again for my touch ups! read more
