Definitely a favorite! My husband and I went here today to get a one hour couples massages while we were in town visiting Pismo Beach. The spa is very clean and everyone that works. There is very friendly. Our massage therapists were Holly & Shante. Both of them were very kind and friendly and asked what specific areas we wanted worked on as well as what type of pressure we preferred. The couples massage room was very clean and calming and we both felt very relaxed after. We will definitely be returning the next time we are in town! read more

I was really disappointed in this place. I booked a couples massage for my partner and I. We were given an intake paper that asked how we would like the pressure (light, medium or deep w/ an extra $30 charge) I was a bit confused as to why it would ask that when we already booked the massage as "DEEP tissue massage" seems like they just wanted the extra fee. During the massage, masseuse for both partner and I, ONLY focused on our shoulders. The entire hour it was mainly just the shoulders area. Also, I'd have to mention, it was the LIGHTEST massage we've had and we get massages so often. It felt like they were just tapping my back and legs. No deep tissues were massaged at all. After the massage, they ended up charging the extra $30 fee which did not make sense since we already booked for a DEEP TISSUE massage. For $290 + $50 tip, I thought this place was a total scam. $340 and I still felt uneasy, unrelaxed afterwards. So sad that these reviews are NOT accurate. Definitely DO NOT recommend this place if you'd like to come in for quality massages. read more

Emily worked on me today and she did an amazing job! She is kind, calm, adapts to your needs and asks great history questions to rule out red flags before treatment. She uses great pressure, hits all the right spots and you can tell she really knows what she's doing. Healing hands for sure! Went in today for a couples massage , we were. Warmly greeted and welcomed back into a uniquely decorated peaceful space. Both therapists explained the process and asked on how we'd like them to concentrate on. My therapist did a deep tissue from my shoulders on down , it was if she knew what pressure I needed and where , a true connection. She literally took my over feet and avoided tickling me , it was very soothing. My wife's therapist did such a great job she seriously wants to reschedule monthly. Relaxing ambiance, friendly and caring service, good massage (not great as it wasn't exactly what I requested in terms of areas needing the most attention), easy communication (both in person and online). Parking in neighborhood on nearby street wasn't too difficult to find. Prices higher than expected for a non-luxury place IMHO. Wish I could rate higher but it was just good, nothing to rave about to make it exceptional. Maybe if I was a regular customer it could become great by the practitioner getting to know my needs more if I gave feedback (giving them the benefit of the doubt on that). We enjoyed some time on the AMAZING biomat, then an hour long couples massage, and ended with a wonderful "gentlemens" facial. The environment: This Spa is so cool! It has a beachy zen feel, the wonderful scents from all the amazing products they use along with the zen sounds and tunes made us feel super relaxed. We had Eva (the owner) and Shante for our massage. They both asked all the right questions, and we both felt that they got the intensity right, and focused on exactly what we needed. My husband & I are celebrating our 11 year dating anniversary and planned a trip to SLO & Pismo Beach. We've never done a Couples Massage before so of course I turned to Yelp to find the best local business there that would work best for us. That was A Vital Touch! First off, let me say that it's pretty dope that they have their own app (AVitalTouch) which I saw from their website. You can setup your appointment and pick/choose what type of service you'd like. Side note: you will need to enter your credit card info. By doing your appointment through the app, they'll send you an email and text to let you know if your appointment as been approved or denied. My only gripe about this was they sent me an initial email when I created my account and an email saying they'd "shortly" send me an email letting me know if they approved my appointment request. Three days later still no approval email or text so I called their business to confirm. I'm really good with names so I'm hoping I didn't get it wrong but I believe Nicole was the really nice lady who answered the phone and proceeded to confirm that we did in fact have our Couples Massage booked for the date I had requested on the app. She mentioned that we should get their 10 minutes before our appointment to fill out a form. When we got there we were greeted (by whom I'm guessing is Nicole) and offered water. She handed us a clipboard and pen so that we could fill out the brief form about our visit and if we had any ailments. After that we were taken back into the room where we would have our Massage and were introduced to Jessica & Kathy. They were very nice and made sure we let them know beforehand if we had any specific needs. The Massage was AH-FREAKING-MAZING! I only wished we had booked a 90 and not 60 min session. From the light snoring coming from the table next to me I guessed my husband really enjoyed it as well! In fact he did confirm that he would love to come back again. This says a lot especially since we're from The Bay and it's a 3 hour drive here. Extra kudos in my book because they have a little sitting area in the corner of the room where they serve you tea after your massage. They served us cinnamon tea which just happens to be my absolute favorite! For the service and the kindness of the staff, the price for it all was worth it! We're definitely coming back here and going to try the Himalayan Salt Stone Massage next time! read more

Found Vital touch through Yelp and glad I did! Booked a "couples massage" for while we were camping in Pismo in January. It was a short drive from the RV park. The spa is in a lovely location and is very calming and zen from the moment you walk in. We had Jenna and Lauren as our massage therapists. I had the best massage with Rachel, it was just what I needed. Perfect pressure and amount of time spent on each area. She also has such a calming and caring, warm presence and energy. She used the Himalayan salt stones and the warmth and smoothness as part of the massage was such a nice way to relax.
