I moved to SLO a few years ago, but I've struggled to find a good eyebrow place. That struggle bus ended when I found The Cheeky Parlor. First, it's adorable inside, and I automatically felt comfortably. Second, I was able to get an appointment fairly easily (some places are booked out months in advance). Third, the actual quality of the service is awesome. Ashley took her time, asked me a lot of questions, mixed me a custom brow color, and is a true artist. In the same month I had facials here and at the world renowned Pebble Beach Spa at Pebble Beach Golf course. I had the complete All day experience of every treatment available at PB. I got the works- top of the line. So I have a legitimate, recent and direct comparison of facials. In fact, I would argue noone should have been better than my PB experience. Or my many years of facials I've had at many locations in the US. But to Ginnaea's credit, here, at Cheeky, she was hands down miles above in treatment, product knowledge, pacing, pressure, and of course results in a beautiful glow that lasted. I would not hesitate to visit her again. She listens, analyzes and educates while not stealing from your experience of pleasure and relaxation- which I believe, most of us people are looking for....some peace. I hope this conveys the professionalism and sweetness I recieved to future clients. She will be my favorite Esthetician. I am only giving recommendation for Ginnaea as I have not tried the other professionals there yet. I'm hooked on her care. The inside is soooo cute, modern and fun to be in I just wish I had more time to just hang out in their lobby area but their service is very prompt that I didn't (which is not a bad thing at all). I actually booked an appointment here because my regular esthetician was out of town and I needed to make an appointment while she was away and I might not go back to my regular esthetician . The Bikini Balm basically is this all natural balm and I put it all over my lady parts hahaha it's really great if you ever get dry skin down there, post wax, or just need it for chafing of any kind even...it's just an all around good smelling and good moisture balm! And I LOVE the Spritz and Sprinkle. It's described as, "an astringent, a moderate and calming toner. It is infused with many antioxidants to fight bacteria and contains essentials oils to restore and protect the skin post hair removal." I love it post wax but I also had a burn on my face that was caused by a hair removal cream and the Spritz and Sprinkle REALLY helped heal the burn within 3ish days! read more

I got my brows shaped by Ashley and then got a brow henna from Emily. This was the first time I had ever gotten my brows done and walked away incredibly happy. I didn't go through the typical "I hate these" for a few hours, and then get used to it. I loved them from the moment I left The Cheeky Parlor. I feel like my brows are always done without any makeup! No one has ever been able to get my brow symmetrical so I've always assumed "Welp, I guess this is just the way I am," but Emily fixed them! Both women are very nice. The shop actually opens Sept. 1st, but they are currently open and taking customers. Everything from this experience was a 12/10. I usually go to the same brow artist and so far I haven't gotten the greatest results; I've walked out bleeding from my brow in my past experience, I haven't been there since! I decided to be brave and try a new place (for obvious reasons) I called to make my appointment and when I asked questions they were easily answered, I appreciate that the conversation even in the 3 minutes we spoke was so refreshing and I felt a sense of comfort and my nervousness subsided, once I made it to my appointment the esthetician "mapped" my brows let me verify that I liked the areas she wanted to clean up and she took her time and was precise, I appreciated this very much considering I've been in and out of a beauty salon quicker with less than pleasing results as stated above, all in all I would and will recommend this little spot to my friends and family the amount of patience, delicate measure and confidence this place gave me when I walked out !
