I've been a customer at both The Studio Shop and The Studio Shop Annex and I won't go anywhere else for frames. The staff have an excellent eye and consistently find interesting and beautiful frames for very different pieces of art. I was totally amazed at how many frame options this wonderful little shop has!! I had been to Fastframe and Framarama but the service was lacking and I wasn't given many options. It was so nice to walk into a place where the owners were there and I was given awesome support and choices, choices, choices. i'm not a big yelper, but my experience at the studio shop has been so exceptional, and so superlative, i'm compelled to post. we've done 10 or so frames, some simple, some very complicated. their selection & knowledge of the process is super pro. we've always had very high quality results. in the one case where things didn't come out as expected, kristen not only anticipated & recognized that things weren't right...she let us sit with the work to decide for ourselves (and have the pieces up for a big family event). when we did decide we needed a re-do, she showed professionalism & old fashioned sense of customer service that is pretty much extinct these days: totally solutions-oriented, totally taking charge, even coming to our house to work out the solution on site. i wouldn't dream of taking a frame job anywhere else. highest possible recommendation. read more
