Nice salon, but haven't had any luck with short hair cuts yet. Have seen more than one stylist and can't say have been happy with any.

I went here following a former stylist. Unimpressive exterior, equally unimpressive interior- very little effort has gone into making it look clean, welcoming or even attractive. Ok, maybe they moved in the day before yesterday. There's no place to hang a coat, just leave it on the waiting chair and hope no one sits on it, because there's no place near the stylist station to hang a coat or a bag either. I took my chin-length bob in for a full foil, cut and blow dry. Here's verbiage from the website: "All color services come with a complimentary hydrating deep conditioning mask! Price is subject to change on hair length and thickness. 1 hour 10 minutes Starting at $155" I did like the online booking process, as I don't like to make appointments far out in the future, so that worked for me to make an appointment for the end of the week. There was no complimentary deep conditioning mask given with my appointment, although I asked about it and received no reply, so I didn't like the promise without the delivery. Maybe regulars receive the whole package that you pay for. I've had my hair done by this stylist about 6-8 times in the past, so I simply put my phone on the table with a photo of the cut she usually gives me as a reminder for her. My hair is in color transition so it was a full bleach foiling to lift color only, no color added. Skip to the cut: it resulted in a round cut with about an extra 1/2 inch off more than i asked for, a jagged neckline that's a good 1/2 longer in the back than the sides (once I washed & dried it myself at home) and some solid purple highlights. I don't want permanent color right now until the existing allover color is gone, but . . . I now have permanent purple stripes. When I saw exactly how distracted the stylist was, I guess I should have scaled everything back to simple bleach foils, and a trim, but, who knew?? Complain? no, it just wasn't worth it because I really wanted to get out of there, the stylist wasn't listening to me. And the owner was standing right there as I was saying, wow it's *really* short! and she had no interest in replying to me, only wanted me to book another appointment. No thanks, I don't want to book another appointment. I'm actually pretty forgiving of a not-great cut, we all have bad days. But a bad cut *plus* permanent highlights I didn't want *plus* missing a service I was charged for and well, just an unattractive salon on top of that? No. Although, while I sat there I did re-arrange the waiting area furniture at least 4 different ways better than it is now, so I felt a little better . . . . :-) read more

bby did a great even job bleaching my hair but she got lazy at the back of my head when coloring and used two different shades of blue without my knowledge. My sides are completely uneven. I'm not a social person and I don't usually tell people when I dislike things, that being said I emailed her and she didn't take responsibility for her mistake, instead she kinda blamed me by saying I didn't have a reference pictures. she told me to schedule a new appointment a month ahead which I will not be doing. It was very unprofessional. The first time I got my hair dyed (obviously from a different salon) it didn't come out bright enough and he recolored it for free. Now you could look at the pictures and say it's not so uneven but this is my hair, and I've lost confidence knowing if I put my hair up people will see the back is splotchy, the blues are different and the sides are cut uneven. The owner agrees my haircut is shit but what's funny is she thinks I purposely sabotaged my hair and post a picture of it. And when I called her she yelled at me spoke over me and told me I was wrong, great costumer service so I'm changing my two starts to a one ;) she also called into the place I work trying to fire me for talking on the phone with her on company time when I was on break, she then threatened to call the police for not giving her my manager's name. This salon is a 10/10 for me. The staff is friendly, professional, and talented. The salon itself is so cute and inviting. There is plenty of parking available as well. It's always clean and well kept whenever I walk in. The amount of natural lighting always helps too since you can truly see the color of your hair before leaving. The hard work and talent the stylists produce is truly amazing.
