Don't get your hair colored here. Mine is fried and not even close to the color I asked for. The stylist charged me 25% more than what she quoted me. The haircut I received was also horrible. She used an electric clipper on my ends and somehow still managed to make them uneven. I've had to spend almost the same amount of money to get my hair fixed elsewhere. Do yourself a favor and just go somewhere else for your hair. read more

Really disappointed. I've been coming here for over 20 years and recently noticed a service charge for using my debit card. I understand they get charged so I get it. However, my husband gets me a $500 gift card for Christmas and I asked if I would be charged for using a credit card fee when I used the gift card and the owner said I would if my husband bought the gift card with his credit card. I get charging him the fee when he bought the gift card with his credit card, but each time I use the gift card I would be charged a fee! Sadly after 20 years I have not been back and will not be going back. I found a nice nail salon in the area who doesn't charge those fees on my gift card. I had the staff call you as I was thinking they were wrong, I had them call you! I spoke to you on the phone and you told me that if my husband used a credit card to buy me my gift certificate, you would charge me each and every time I used the gift certificate! I've been having my hair cut at this salon since 2004. people stop me all the time complimenting me on my hair and always want to know where I go. well, I never want to say where (but I do) because it's my best kept secret and I don't want to share, but I have too. this salon has been my home all these years. now that I moved out of state and forced to try other salons, i can't seem to find any other half as good as christine. so now I fly back to mass just to get my hair cut and I feel amazing when she's done. I had brought my toddler with me because I had no child care for him. Even with him being there and being a huge distraction, she was still so patient and took care of me. The salon does everything! i would like to start off by saying i have been going to salon de beauty for my nails since i was 5 for basic manicures. i started getting acrylics when i was 13. i am now 20 and i REFUSE to ever go back. 2 years ago i was getting ready for my senior prom. at the time of my appointment, my prom was only 2 days away. the only time left i had to get my nails done was the day i went. so i decided to go to the salon i knew and trusted. the picture i inserted are the nails i initially asked for, i just wanted them a lot shorter than the picture. i had gotten ombré nails done before, so i didn't think this was an issue. i showed my mail tech the inspiration picture, and left the photo in front of her for the entire service (which she kept looking at the whole time). i even explained to her exactly what i wanted. first, she wouldn't let me pick the length that i wanted which should have been the first red flag. i told her i wanted the exact color blue that was in the photo, and she grabbed it for me. although i didn't know how turquoise it was until she put it on. i told her that wasn't the color i wanted and she told me to trust her that she knows what she's doing. so i kept my mouth shut. she also refused to show me the shape of my nails so i didn't notice how wonky they looked. then, i realized that she wasn't doing the ombré. i figured she was using a different technique so i stayed quiet. few minutes later she told me i was done and that i could leave. i looked at my nails, and quickly told the lady at the counter that this is not what i asked for. my nail tech then came up to me and started shouting in my face in front of everyone. i told them that i thoroughly explained what i wanted, and that i kept the photo in front of her the entire time. she screamed at me saying that i never showed her a single photo or explained what i wanted. she basically told me that the monstrosity of a job she did on my nails was "exactly what i wanted". i then started crying while explaining to them that i have prom in two days and i have no time to get these fixed. i begged them to fix them for me, and they still refused. then, more came over to us, and my boyfriend and i were being screamed at by 4 of them. so, before we went to my appointment, my boyfriend offered to pay for my nails as a little treat. after getting screamed at, he asked how much the set would cost. they charged $150 not including the tip for this. my boyfriend refused. he said he would only pay if i was able to get them fixed. they still refused and kept screaming at us, causing a huge scene even when they knew they were in the wrong. so my boyfriend said that he's not going to pay them, and no tip. one of them starts dialing the cops, so my boyfriend finally paid them. i did end up going somewhere else to get them fixed the same day. people were asking me where i got them done, and i made sure to put them on blast and speak up for everyone to hear that you SHOULD NEVER GO TO THIS SALON!!! read more

I got my eye brows micro-bladed with Mia at salon de beauty and she did an amazing job! I had come in for her to color correct and micro blade over orange color (due to getting them done 5 years ago and them fading into an ugly orange over the years). Mia was awesome, made me feel very comfortable and got all the orange out and made them nice and full again! Very natural looking, and didn't take much time either. I finally made the jump from my old salon to this one because it's much more convenient location-wise. The final product of my dip manicure always comes out flawless. HOWEVER, the time I spend here is absolutely wild, something I have never experienced before at a nail salon. An hour and 45 minutes for a dip manicure?? It's happened 3 times already so I know it's not just a one time thing. The technicians need to be more efficient...mine probably filed my nails 5 times. So many unnecessary steps to the process. My blood was BOILING. Also, there have been other times when they tell me they can take me as a walk-in, but then they just start doing someone's hair while my fingers are being soaked (for up to 20-30 minutes...I always have to take the foil off myself because they are burning. I really really do like this place and want to come back. I desperately hope that some changes are made because at this rate, I would save more time driving out of my way to get a manicure at my usual place then to come here for an almost 2 hour manicure. read more

I have been a long time customer of Salon De Beauty in Weymouth. I went in today for an eyebrow wax. The woman waxing my eyebrows then tells me, "Oh my, I just took off half your eyebrow! In all my years, I've never had this happen." I have two interviews tomorrow and this could not have occurred at worse timing. I called the Salon after shock set in and asked to speak to a manager. The young man who answered the phone after I explained what had happened directed my call to the woman who removed half my eyebrow!!! I have been a loyal customer and know for a fact she is NOT the owner nor the manager. No apologies were made other than telling me that I could come in and she could show me how to pencil my eyebrow in for the next MONTH! How very generous of her. I walked into Salon de Beauty and was greeted by a tech who told me about 5 to 10 minutes...after waiting almost 15 2 Asian woman walk in and ask to have their nails done , they were quickly seated they had no appointment because they begged to be taken, one said they were leaving on a trip! The quality of the service in this salon is excellent. But my only complaint is that when they make an appointment, they should not make you wait 30 minutes. It seems as if they just take walk-ins and ignore the fact that someone has made an appointment and is now going to have to wait 30 minutes. Out of courtesy, they should call the customer and let them know if they are planning to bump their appointment by a substantial amount of time. Not honoring Customer's appointments shows a lack of respect for your customers. read more

I went just for a pedicure. The lady doing my feet kept getting up and leaving to eat!! My feet sat there in cold water. And when she finished, she told me to sit there to air dry. When I first walked in, the place was busy. So I thought maybe the dryers were occupied. But as I was leaving, NOT 1 PERSON WAS SITTING AT THE MANY VACANT DRYERS!! I've gone to this salon a few times and always thought it was fine. Good prices, quick but nice eyebrow wax, mani/pedi is comparable to other local salons. BUT not after today. The girl was obviously inexperienced and needs some more practice before actually taking customers. I feel as though other than having new polish, I didn't actually have a treatment done. I drive 40-45 minutes to go to them - I've had my eyebrows half waxed off before so finding a spot I trust completely is worth the drive. i've been a loyal customer at salon de beauty for over two years. i come every month to get my eyebrows waxed with anna. i had just gotten eyelash extensions done yesterday and came to get my eyebrows done today. while anna was done with my eyebrows she held up the mirror to my face for less than one second. i got up and walked to the counter to pay and she made me sign the receipt which she never usually does. now i know that she did that so i wouldn't dispute the charge or ask for a refund. when i got in my car that's when i noticed a big chunk of my lashes were missing. my eyelashes are at a good distance away from my eyebrows so the excuse "my lashes are too long" isn't reasonable nor does it justify this. she did one wax strip under my eyebrow and it hurt more than usual but i didn't think anything of it. after she did that part of my eyebrow she was yelling in Vietnamese to her coworkers. anna did not notify me or tell me that she literally ripped a chunk of my eyelashes out. there have been times where they've made me bleed with tweezers and left wax in my hair but nothing will ever come close to this. if you can, avoid this salon. no matter how long you've been coming here and how loyal you are as a customer, all they care about is money. read more
