During…read moremy consultation, the stylist recommended bleaching my entire head and assured me that the integrity of my hair would remain intact. Although I already had some previously lightened pieces, my entire head was re-bleached. Unfortunately, the condition of my hair after the service was severely compromised. When I left the salon, my hair felt almost waxy, smelled strongly of bleach for about a week, and experienced significant breakage and damage. I ultimately had to see another stylist to address the damage, and we had to cut 7 inches of my hair to remove the most compromised sections and prevent further breakage. On top of that, I paid $600 for the service. To be fair, the salon itself is beautiful and the staff were friendly. However, the quality and outcome of my particular service were extremely disappointing. It has taken me over a year of care and recovery to get my hair back to a healthier condition, and my hair still has not returned to the length it was before this appointment. I understand that color correction can be a complicated process, but I feel the condition of my hair afterward was unacceptable, especially given the assurance I received during my consultation and the $600 cost of the service. I'm sharing my experience so that anyone considering a major color correction understands the potential risks and makes an informed decision.

My sisters, mom, and I were all over the moon with how our hairstyles and makeup turned out. This is a lot coming from someone who doesn't normally wear makeup and didn't want to look super caked up on my big day. She knew immediately what the other stylist had done. I have thin hair, and Erica brought it back to life with a little of her magic. Not only does my hair look fuller, but it now has shape to it. I showed her a picture of what I would like and she was absolutely wonderful. She has AMAZING talent. She didn't use any stencils to draw the nail art on, she did it freehand. She is a perfectionist and made sure my nails were cleaned up with no hangnails or skin around my nail beds. My pedicure was just as BEAUTIFUL. The woman that answered told me they had been doing a wedding on Saturday which was why they had to cancel my appointment. She was unable to find a time to fit me in. They could not do an evening appointment that week and once again were unable to schedule anything for a Saturday since they were doing another wedding. I am going elsewhere. Cancelling on a regular client to take on other business does not seem wise. Definitely not the kind of service I was used to when this was Splash and Ashley was there.

Today, not getting my usual spa services, but I'm here for a girls' day to celebrate a special lady with the Sweet Feet pedicures and lunch at the Oasis. Since it was a lovely day, the girls and I dined outside and spent most of the day on the grounds, since the spa tends to be busy on weekends, especially Saturday. Our pedicures were relaxing, but be reminded that if you have gel polish on, there is a $17 upcharge to remove it; otherwise, it was a wonderful, pleasant experience. Even the massage chair was a bonus. My only disappointment was that everyone at my girls' spa party who got pedicures received the free emery board the clinicians used during our pedicures; I was the only person who didn't.
