Yay!! Studs at the domain, I was pierced at the Congress location and it healed so nicely. I am so excited that they opened one closer to me! I feel so spoiled, I went to the NYC location so long ago and regretted not buying any of their jewelry. I love their jewelry and would HIGHLY recommend it to anyone. Its fun, high quality, and affordable. They have some really unique pieces in both silver and gold so there is something for everyone! Definitely check it out! Mia and the lady there that works the counter were incredibly nice and extremely helpful!! I had re pierced my own ears the day prior and was a little concerned about something. I was hoping they would answer my questions even when I didn't get it done there. And oh my gosh they both went above and beyond!!! The shop wasn't open too do piercings today because it had just gotten their AC fixed -- but they both took the time to explain to me what was going on and suggested ways to prevent the irritation and things to help it heal and what signs to look for. Gold star ladies gold star -- you both deserve them!!!! I would never have known that we don't twist the earrings while it's healing anymore or that saline is the way to go! Decided on a third hole in both my ears, and had seen this place when visiting the Domain Mall on my last trip in Austin. I read up on them and I like the vibe as well as the cleanliness and simplicity of STUDS. It is easy to book a reservation and know what you want before you even walk in. The vibe is great and everyone there was so friendly! Arrived 5 minutes before my appointment and was taken right in. After filling out the waiver and selecting my studs to get pierced with I was ready. You are taken to a small private room with your piercer and it is so quick and painless! They use a needle, not those guns like at Claire's. Tara was awesome and we chatted the whole time I didn't feel a thing! I was done in about 10 minutes! I have to say it is not the cheapest option for piercing, but it is clean, and efficient and the staff is amazing. Totally worth the cost. They have a loyalty card they give you and you get a free gift after 5 piercing's. You leave with a goody bag that has stickers and coupons and of course after care instructions. read more

The staff was very rude, but most importantly, the quality of their jewelry is crap. I had to get 9 studs earrings replaced by a reputable tattoo shop because the studs earrings were such low quality. They were turning my ears black, the backing were put on too tight with no room for swelling and one earring was starting to get embedded in my cartilage. I got much higher quality jewelry at a tattoo shop and the price of the earrings was actually CHEAPER!! They also had cute earrings. This is just an overpriced scam in my opinion. read more

So I recently visited this store to get a new piercing that I'd been wanting for a long time. All of my other ones were done by a piercing gun until I'd recently found out that they aren't as sterile. So after seeing an ad for Studs on Instagram I looked more into it and knew this was the place for me to go. And I'm so happy I did, it was quick and painless and Tara was so awesome and kind. As were all of the other staff. I'll be going again ASAP to get some more piercings and I would 10/10 recommend it! read more

Booking was easy, place was clean. I was dissatisfied with the staff. I showed up at 6:20 for my appointment and it was clear that everyone was ready to go for the day. I did have to wait till 6:45 till I was seen. I expressed to Tara I would like my husband to check the hole markings, she responded with an attitude "is he a piercer? If you aren't comfortable I don't need to pierce you." I was nervous and thought for an experienced piercer she handled that poorly. She did a good job, and showed me the holes but I was very uncomfortable with her. I then went to pay and my bill was double what I expected because the front girls were to busy chatting and forgot to mention the price was per piercing, per earring. For the price you pay this should have been a better experience. I wouldn't go back to this location. read more

They have so many cute styles. I particularly like the bundled earring sets and the chains that you can connect earrings with. Beware, when the website walk-ins welcome, that does not mean for everyone. The staff was rude, condescending, entitled and could not show in the terms where an appointment was required for certain people when asked. My mid teenage daughter was very excited to get her ears done, but we were turned away with 'mean girl' attitude.... stay away from this place at all costs. read more

My mother was in town so I took her to the Domain and stopped by studs because my piercing from December was hurting. I was not aware they do a complimentary check-up. The piercer provided care instructions and let me know there was nothing to worry about. I've been sleeping on my pierced ear on a dirty pillow lately so that is probably not the best thing for my new piercing. I purchased some jewelry and the receptionist was so polite and helpful and I was even able to use my student discount. I'll be returning from now on. read more
