Luckily, they had a house for rent at about the halfway point to make my and my husband's commute tolerable. We spent our first couple years of marriage there and even added to our family, so we were a bit sad to move. Jodie is professional and very prompt with communication. If we ever had an issue, we just had to either call or text him and it was handled within a reasonable time frame. He was in close communication with the owner as well, which is likely why things were taken care of promptly. When we had issues with our bank transferring our rent, we also communicated that with him, so we were able to just drop off a check instead. We were able to make some temporary upgrades to the home while renting with them as well. We added a smart thermostat and a doorbell camera without any issues. My husband and I were sure to re-install the existing doorbell and thermostat upon moving. Since we moved from the Bay Area towards the Sacramento Valley, we were able to rent a home for the same price (if not cheaper) as the apartments and some townhomes by the surrounding areas of Travis AFB. That being said, we got the best bang for our buck in that regard. Even with the extra expenses of having a house, such as hiring a gardener for biweekly maintenance and trash & recycling pick-up, the price for renting was still more than reasonable. Overall, we are very pleased with our time renting from Professional Property Management. We had a cozy stay at a wonderful home that we kept up to the best of our ability. The communication throughout the move-out process was frustrating, and I did not feel that my concerns were addressed fairly. It seemed like they were looking for reasons to keep money from my deposit rather than evaluating the property objectively.
