After researching several photographers, we met with Steve Garrett after a friend recommended him. Immediately I could tell that Steve would be a perfect fit for us. He's a really nice guy, and he just put us at ease when we met him. I reviewed some of his portfolio, and I really liked what I saw. We decided to hire him. Our wedding was beautiful, and Steve shot us throughout the day, along with an assistant. Both photographers were polite, kind, enthusiastic, and outgoing. In the morning, they shot the bridal party before the ceremony, as we got ready. It's hard to put into words...they were fun to be around, but much of the time, we felt that they did a great job of letting the day unfold without us feeling like there was a camera right there. They got some great shots of everyone together, posed pictures, but a lot of candid shots that truly make me relive the day in my memory. Since it was November, he got great shots using the color of the fall leaves. I loved those photos most, because they are beautifully shot, and allow me to remember the feelings I had, on the morning of my wedding day. Then were the ceremony and reception shots, which were all pretty fantastic. One thing I really liked about having two photographers was that sometimes, they would each do their own thing, taking shots of the different guests there, the food, etc. But then, sometimes they would take shots together, each from a different angle. I thought that was really cool, because sometimes, the subjects would not be looking directly at the camera. All in all, I would (and have) recommend Steve and his team at All About Amore if you're looking for a wedding photographer.
