The name says it all! I'm surprised I haven't come in here before because it had me laughing the whole time. A lot of crass, quirky, adult themed items but plenty for other ages as well. OK prices. Virginia was very engaging and helpful. Will bring my friends back this weekend! Walked out with a few items I probably could not have found anywhere else. In this crazy uncertain world we live in these days, I think it's very important to have a few good laughs as often as possible! Thank you!

This is a real fun shop and had us laughing the entire time. Lots of fun interesting stuff that would be hard to find except in a quirky shop like this. The cashier was pleasant and helpful, I'm looking forward to the next time.

Stupidiotic Factory Outlet Stores, located in Big Bear Lake Village California,is a hoot! All kinds of fun stuff, gags, gifts, stupid, idiotic, laughable, contemporary and zany merchandise! Prices are reasonable and plenty of parking in front and behind the store. . . . #stupidiotic #ilovestupid #iloveoutlets #iloveidiotic #gags #crazygifts #funnygaggifts

Always worth a look around, but I struggle with the thought of buying something. This is largely utterly worthless crap, save for a cheap laugh or gag. From a branding perspective, you're in a shop combining "stupid" and "idiotic," in a decidedly tourist trappy part of the world, looking for something to do... why not buy a can of dehydrated water and a pair of "handerpants" then go back to your empty, meaningless life down the hill and whisper sweet nothings into the fast food drive through headset... All that said, the staff here is friendly, the village is small enough to get through in a single afternoon (even if you have three kids and a shopping bride with you), and there are a few candy stores. It's just that somewhere, George Carlin is rolling over in his grave, and corpse-mouthing something about American's favorite pastimes: shopping and eating.

I love my stupid idiotic comb that is the size and thickness of a credit card. It's a great emergency comb.

This place is awesome for unusual items or gag gifts. They are pricey though. If your near one it's definitely worth stopping in.

You get the feeling that they're eyeballing you & all I was doing was browsing and snapping pictures for my review. I didn't buy anything, although the prices were reasonable considering the location. Reading other reviews a lot of other customers were uncomfortable as well. It seems like there are too many stores in Big Bear that obviously have that as an ongoing situation. It's too bad there's so much theft going on or so much distrust. Not sure which but I hope they resolve it. Although I was greeted with a hello, how are you?

When I went to pay, they attempted to charge more than the displayed price. When I inquired, the initial employee was going to honor the price tag. A reasonable thing to do. After seeking the manager for approval, she declined to honor the tagged price. She said the other gloves were marked with the higher price, essentially acknowledging the error in their tagging of their merchandise. Considering I don't work there and didn't price tag their merchandise, it was really confusing why that was relevant. Also, this all begs the question of how many times they do this to their patrons? Is it company policy to price an item one thing and overcharge by 33% and hope no one notices? Just honor the price tag. Not difficult. You did it, not me. I'm a paying customer, who is in town regularly enough. I hope the $5 was worth it. You clearly needed it more than me. Bums.

Those following my Yelp reviews are reading this following my review for Big Bear Lake where I…read moremention my connection to bears (my name meaning "Little Bear"), to Big Bear city and my obsession with Jackie and Shadow: the bald eagle King and Queen holding court from 165-foot Jeffrey Pine tree overlooking the lake. I also mention the benefits to Angelinos to escape our smog-ridden city and escape to fresh air and a slow pace for hiking, boating, skiing or even relaxing in a cabin. But Big Bear also offers something we are all familiar with: wining, dining and shopping! When you've spent the day experiencing Big Bear's natural wonders; you can cap the day off in Big Bear Village. Big Bear Village is the charming tourist hub quarters of Big Bear where you will find the Big Bear Welcome Center, gift shops ranging from toys, crystals, beef jerky, leather and everything in between; bars and restaurants and even public restrooms. The village features all levels of dining from casual neighborhood eateries to elegant romance perfect for dates and holidays and is the ideal place to purchase Big Bear tourist merch and trinkets. Big Bear Village is perfectly walkable and offers a free public parking lot and street parking but beware that even in 'off-season' - it is busy as a bee hive! For those SoCal residents familiar with Solvang (near Santa Barbara) and Old Temecula; Big Bear Village is a similar esthetic. If you are a fan of bears, then Big Bear Village is your playground as it is filled with bear statues curbside on every corner, each and every shop seems to brand itself with a punny name referring to bears and there is bear imagery everywhere! Even though not in Big Bear Village; my favorite bear in the city is a bear statue dressed as a marshal at the Big Bear Superior Court. I am sure this is very intimating to the bear criminals! Big Bear Village is bear-y adorable and the ideal area for tourists to dine and shop. Note: Big Bear Village is not where you will find stores like Dollar Tree, Marshalls, Starbucks, Verizon, Vons etc; as these are in a different area at the east shore of the lake. I don't know if this is just towards tourists or simply the Big Bear way of life but everyone is so kind in Big Bear with amazing customer service! Employees are endlessly complimentary, friendly and guarantee a pleasant experience. We even met the kindest waitress, Janet, at nearby Benny's diner who told us her life story and is probably our friend forever now. This is certainly NOT Los Angeles! Big Bear Village is the tourist shopping/dining hub that will sure to be(ar) a delight to all tourists and is a must-see when in Big Bear. Be sure to take a photo with one of the bear statues: it is basically mandatory!

I love coming here in the fall the leaves change color beautifully, and every corner turns into a perfect photo spot. The Village also has tons of stores selling everything from mountain style clothing and souvenirs to art, antiques, and unique local crafts. Parking is pretty easy to find, and the public restrooms are clean and convenient. For me , The Village is a great place to stroll, grab a bite, and do a little shopping. It's chill, charming, and there's always something new to discover. It's lovely year round, but fall is definitely the most beautiful with the perfect weather for me to enjoy.

We love our crystals and I have my own collection. Now while some crystals were amazing; others I realized were dyed. When we took them back to cabin and showed them off... my fingers turned green/blue. It was a little disappointing knowing how expensive the package itself was. I spent about $90 for the cosmic package. Ouch. I haven't told my son they were dyed but I do believe the value should be as much as it costs. I will return for the shop itself but unfortunately most likely not the package.

A place where the Great Outdoors is embraced and being one with Nature is encouraged by all. Welcome to the Big Bear Discovery Center! While visiting our friends at their cabin in Beautiful Big Bear, we decided to take the kids to the Discovery Center to see what it was all about. Upon walking into the building, we were immediately immersed into the wildlife that makes up this areas landscape. From the avian wildlife, to the reptiles, to the large mammals that call Big Bear Home, the Discovery Center gave a great snapshot of what nature lives in these mountains. In addition, the various types of rock, plants and trees were also on display which showcased the unique landscape of the region. On the back part of the building, there was a decent sized gift shop where your young explorers can browse all of the nature related toys, books and gear to be a Jr. Ranger. But the fun didn't stop there... Out front, they had a table for kids to do a hands on activity. The day we went, kids could make their own bird feeder using a pine cone, peanut butter and bird seed. After making our homemade bird feeders, we took a short walk to the other side of the building where they had an outdoor area called Nature Discovery Zone where kids could play, dig, build things. There are other activities on site, but this is all we did on our visit. If you find yourself in the Big Bear area and have young kids, definitely a good place to come check out. They do have some snacks and drinks inside the gift shop, but I didn't see any actual hot food to eat. There are picnic benches and places you can sit and relax if you want to pack a lunch and eat in the outdoor area. Now... Who's ready to Discover the behind the scenes of Big Bear!
