We stayed in the Studio Lodge. It was spacious with a full kitchen and separate bedroom. An assortment of snacks and drinks were provided. What they have here is afternoon tea and I wish they would advertise it as such. The chicken salad stuffed gouger was divine. The scones were the best I've had. Crunchy on the outside, while warm and fluffy in the middle. I could have eaten ten of the cinnamon scones. After having been partially destroyed by fire, vacated by a vagrant, and after sitting unloved and overgrown, the house has taken new life after being restored by the Winner family in the past 29 or so years. It really is magical inside and outside. I can see why people choose this as a wedding venue. I would love to come back and stay there and experience the spa. Although, I was in the bar area and it was very nice with an inviting, B&B type decor and the staff I met were very nice. Now, my baby sister got married on Sat which is hard to believe to me. She picked Julia's as she wanted to have an outside wedding. The choice was a great one. The outside grounds were very well maintained. They were married under a very large gazebo surrounded by beautiful landscaping, flowers and trees. The back drop was a small pond that was being visited by many geese. Just a very pretty scene. The main gazebo was complimented by two smaller gazebos that were connected by matching walkways that made for fantastic wedding photos that will always bring great memories to those participating in the wedding. It was especially emotional as my brother and I gave her away. Our father passed 10 years ago and our mother 5 years ago.She only felt it proper to have her big bothers give her away. Of course we were more than honored to do this. What a great day we had and I wish nothing but the best to my lil' sis. She is all grown up now but will always be my baby sister. We love you!

Also, the staff was friendly and so attentive. We stayed during an outside work event, so it felt like we had place to ourselves. We lucked out with private dining for dinner in the pub and used the heated indoor and outdoor pools by ourselves. The food served for dinner (steak with potato gratin & asparagus; and coquille saint Jacques) and breakfast (egg soufflé and waffles) was top-notch. We also loved the Victorian Era feel in our bedroom and bathroom. Overall, if you're looking for a romantic weekend or an experience at an upscale Inn, then the Sebring Mansion is a great choice!
