On top of that I decided our old window treatments weren't quite right for our new gorgeous bathroom so reached out to my trust decorator for recommendations. She said she's had nothing, but great experiences with Gotcha Covered...and looks like (based on the stellar reviews) that many yelpers agree. I called last Monday and found time on a Saturday morning for a sales rep (Jay) to stop by. Saturdays are ideal for my work schedule, although when he stopped by at 10am I had 3 kids I had to kick out of their rooms (especially the teenager) so he walked into a bit of craziness, but didn't seem bothered by it. Within an hour we chose hunter douglas room darkening shades for my kids rooms, as well as a custom made silhouette window shade for our bathroom. My decorator facetimed to help us pick a color and fabric for the window, which ended up being a quick 5 min call. We were able to match all the shades to the existing trim in all the rooms and then Jay was off. Jay promised a quote by Monday, but delivered it Saturday afternoon. While pricey it ended up being much less than I expected (also included a designer referral discount) and I"m really happy with everything we ordered. I did think about shopping around, but decided to just go with Gotcha Covered based on the stellar reviews, great service from Jay and the price seemed fair (even chatgpt agreed :)). They required a 50% deposit to place the order and promised to deliver/install in 4-6 weeks. I'll update my review after installation, but I'm happy so far!

Their showroom was very helpful because we could go there and see various options in person and view how the automation alternatives actually worked. Their in-home visit enabled us to choose materials and colors right in the environment where the blinds would be installed. We choose automated blinds that change position relative to the sunrise and sunset so that we have the perfect combination of light and privacy in our family room with window walls on three sides. We can also control our blinds with Amazon's Alexa or Apple's Siri. This shows the kind of experience that we appreciate. We are so glad to hear that they have relocated to Wilmette, closer to us. Had another company give a quote for a new home and Chris , the owner came out to quote the job…read more For the same type and configuration of shades the quote from Bloomin Blinds came in thousands under the first quote. We placed the order and 3 weeks later Chris was installing the shades. After the installation Chris put everything on the Bliss app, he tested all and then gave us the tutorial. Everything worked perfectly. One month later one shade dropped off the app( probably due to a WiFi issue). I texted Chris after hours and he was out the next morning to add this shade. This was a wonderful customer service experience and I would recommend Blooming Blinds to anyone for quality of the product, price of the product and an outstanding customer service experience after the sale.

We originally decided to give this place a chance to support local mom and pop shops, but were unpleasantly swindled by the such. Upon installation of our shades, we were not able to open our French doors more than 14 inches!! In addition, their response was "do you want them to look good, or work?" They admitted to "thinking" that this was going to be a problem, but gave no warning OR resolution. I honestly couldn't believe my ears. For a professional shop that seems to be family owned, this is DEFINITELY not their passion. They are only in to make the biggest, quick buck possible. I think of them every day that I attempt to squeeze out on to my balcony. By the way, they charged $4000 for 11 windows. 4 of which are the above mentioned French doors that don't open because of the valance design. 3 more of which were installed crooked or hit the track when raising and lowering. So, overall, great job on 4 total windows! Try 3 day blinds or home depot if you are in the market. Shop around and be smart because this place is an example of how they will take advantage of you.

Waited for 10 minutes for customer service only to be informed that Home Depot did not carry that product in their blinds department. Went to the Vertical Blinds Factory and was waited on right away by Sal. Sal knew immediately what I needed and sold me my replacement brackets. I was in & out of the store in 5 minutes. He is honest, informative patient experienced and in my opiinion was made to be a shade contractor. He is all of those things and more. My wife was loosing her sight and we called his company. We needed some one who was going to help us with our problems and he did muuh more than we expected. He was about half done in our living room whem my wife noticed a bit of light that was bothering her, we did not say anything because he did everything that he said he was going to do.
