To correct his lie, they never offered the free replacement. I initially held the remaining payment expecting them to address the issue, but they threatened me with things like filing a lien. So I paid the remainder. I even paid extra to replace the incorrectly installed drawers, which were flat drawers. The second time, they were installed incorrectly again, differently designed shakers. The result is what the photos here show. Extremely irresponsible. BTW, you are the one who did incompetent job and you want to move on without fixing it? What a joke. --- This was our 2nd time working with them. The first time, back in 2020, went very smooth, so we decided to work with them again for our new home. This time it was night and day. It couldn't have been worse. We chose shaker everywhere, but noticed the design draft showed the top drawers flat. The designer told us it was a glitch in their new software, but they went ahead and installed the flat ones anyway. I asked to have it changed and held payment until they fixed it. Instead, they blamed me for an outcome I supposedly approved, and insisted I pay extra to make them shakers. So I did. Then the final result came out like the photo. There's an obvious discrepancy in the width of the cove area (the sloped section between the outer and inner profiles). The designer couldn't even see the problem. The owner never responded at all. I even filed a complaint with the BBB, and they never addressed it. So the BBB closed the case. It's painful to see them treat me like this when I liked them so much 5 years ago. Avoid these crooks if you can.

No big deal, easy 10 minute fix that Ephrem said he would take care of. I chased him down for EIGHT WEEKS to come fix it. Finally I was fed up and told Ephrem I was starting to get pissed, and he called me and BLEW UP at me. He started yelling at me and cussing me out, saying that 'he doesn't sit in front of a f**king computer all day like you do' and that 'you don't buy cabinets from f**king Home Depot, have someone install them incorrectly, then yell at Home Depot to come fix them". The burden was on him to fix, not my contractor because HIS team installed the doors, NOT my contractor. I asked him what the name of his company was and he literally said 'that's none of your business'. I was floored that I paid HIM, HIS guys made an error (a very small, easily fixable one), and HE promised to fix it, ignored my requests to come out, then I expressed my frustrations and HE yelled and cussed ME out. Shouldn't it have been the other way around? Is this how he treats all his customers? After eight weeks the door finally got fixed. I'm not suggesting anyone do or don't do business with him, but be mindful that if something needs fixing after the work is done he'll be very reluctant to help. *not sure why my profile says San Fran, I'm in Chicago.

This place is in a nondescript strip mall in Lincolnwood just outside Chicago, and I just happened to see it as I was driving home one day. I wanted to check out a few places so I added them to my list. Their hours are not super easy to work with, especially if you're a working individual, so you'll probably want to either make an appointment or contact them to confirm their hours for the day or week to make sure someone will be there. Marta helped me understand the cabinets that I might be able to choose from for my space, find something of a relatively inexpensive price point, and the countertop options for it as well. There were some hiccups. Communication leaves a lot to be desired. Even disregarding the Memorial Day holiday where there was no communication for about five days (I get it, people take time off plus their limited schedule), it was like pulling teeth to get information I needed--for instance, when I asked what they needed from me to get the job started, I got an email saying that they'd probably need a deposit. That was the full email--no instructions on how to provide one, when, etc. So I had to respond back to them to ask how to make a deposit to get the work done and it was several days before I got an email saying that I could bring a check (because apparently they do check only) during their very limited hours of 9:30-3. Oh, and to let them know when I was coming so that they'd actually be able to help me I guess. They intimated they take check only as payment, so I had to go during my workday to pay. I arrived 10 minutes after they opened--specifically after they told me they opened, because I asked via email for them to confirm their hours and that they'd be there since I needed to go during work--and no one was there when I arrived. So that was a bit annoying. Having said all that, I chose to work with them because they were by far the quickest option and reasonably priced. The townhome in which I live we hopefully will sell within the coming months, so I didn't want to spend a ton of money on this. Also, with my mom visiting in fewer than six weeks from the time I was looking, I needed the work to be done as immediately as possible. Kitchen & Bath Cabinets Center said they said it would be about two weeks. Given the cabinet place in my neighborhood said it would take five weeks just to get the cabinetry in--and then I'd have to find my own installers)--and not being able to really get much help from Studio41, this company was the clear choice. But if I wasn't worried about the timeframe (and planned to remain in the home longer than say a year), I may have gotten frustrated and gone elsewhere. Whilst this was all happening I was on the fence as to whether I'd recommend this contractor to someone else, and it would definitely have been with some caveats. However, now that the work is done I would recommend them as someone to check out knowing you'll need to have patience and be flexible. They did get it installed within a couple weeks, and it's absolutely beautiful work. They provided installation, which others didn't, so that was something that I didn't have to worry about finding separately (that alone may have tipped me to using them, to be honest). They also prepared the custom vent area that was necessary since there is a vent hole under where this unit was/is. They put on the cabinet pulls I'd purchased from Lowes, and would have done the plumbing but since I had a plumber coming anyway I preferred he take care of it. Now I just need to find someone to install the mirror that was once above the space and the bathroom will be all set.

Wow, I see what they mean. I have been following the reviews on this sight for this company for the last week because I used them also and did not enjoy my experience with them. So I looked them up because I only heard about Yelp a week ago and read all the reviews, even the filtered ones. Why is it that only the bad get filtered and what is this company trying to hide. Is it possible to pay this site so only the good stay up front and the bad get filtered. This does not seem fair so I to am going to write about my business with Bonnie and how my time with them did not go so well. First I liked the two wrote by Frieda and Deb. They sound as if they kept score the best. But what I like best is, it that it helped me to understand this companies morals better. The quote. I called and told them what I wanted. She asked for pics so I sent them. She said that it sounded as if we only needed to paint the shower floor and walls. What she said at first before the pics sounded high but I was willing to wait until she saw the pics. A couple days later John, called me back. He said that we needed to take the tile down to address the mold he could see in the base of the shower because most likely there was water damage. I asked what the price would be and it was high. I told him that I just wanted the base painted and he went into a long speech on how they would not do it and if they did that it would not be covered in the warranty. I said that if I wanted the work done I would call back. A week later he called back and asked if we were still interested and I said it was already done. I called around and found someone else who was able to come out to see what was going on. They said there was no damage and the caulk just needed to be replaced and the shower floor painted. I asked the person if he knew of Tub Hub and tile and he said he did. I asked for his honest opinion of what they had said and he just told me that he has fixed plenty of their work and has gotten lots of business thrown his way because of the high prices and shady quotes given by them. He added that he also has heard nothing good about this company but I should ask around and I have. I'm not the kind of person who goes off what one person says but I have two other friends who also told me the kind of business they do. I had my shower painted and the caulking done for half what they said it would be without the tile work done so I am happy I called around. I can't believe this sight filters all the bad though. How does this work. On Monday of this week they where at four stars and then Tuesday four with another bad review. Then yesterday three and a half and then today back to five. You have to ask yourself what is going on and who is getting paid. Like one of the other reviews said, I will be paying attention to this sight on a weekly basis and I to am going to let others know what I went through and what to look for. As for this site, I think its reputation is going to go down the tubes if it keeps hiding the truth for money. Only time will tell. How does this company keep going back to Five stars. They have more bad reviews than good, so what's going on. I even heard that the wrote the first three them self's. Anyway I used this company once and I will never use them again. They have no clue on how to treat the customers and what they have to offer should not be for sale. John and Bonnie Lamondi, owned Miracle Method in Evanston. They lost it and opened this new office in Skokie. I have read all the reviews and agree with the one star reviews. There is no deals as they offer a $200.00 off coupon but its marked up so high that your getting nothing off. There is no customer satisfaction because the price changes with every phone call from or to them. I heard from one of their many x employee's that there is no training and that they throw you right to work without knowing what you are doing. I heard they use and abuse all their employees and that's why they can't keep any for more than a week or two. The use part is that they work them and then promise to pay but never do. I really like the one review that says do your homework about this company. They are no good. Do not give them any money down, because once you do they own you and that's how they got me. My job was supposed to start on a Monday, but when that day came John or Henry who by the way sound just like one another called and said the truck broke down. I had already paid them by credit card so I said alright. Tuesday came and went, no call. Wednesday, I called and John said someone will be there in an hour or so. 4pm he showed to start the job and left an hour later. Thursday came and I was told by the employee that they would be there first thing. I called and Henry said that no one was supposed to be there that day and that his employee should of never said that. Then I was told he would be back Friday morning for sure but no one came until 2pm. Saturday came and they showed up at 8am. I asked what was the companies problem or better yet, John's. I asked the employee if John thought he was fooling anyone with the John-Henry thing and he laughed. Anyway I helped out because the clock was ticking and I had to have the house ready that afternoon and while we worked I asked lots of questions about this company and this employee was more than happy to answer some. All I want is for people to know how this company works. They are out for your money and that is all. Like I said before, no deals, No satisfaction, and no work done on time or by the way its described before you pay. Don't pay them up front. If they want your work they will book you without it. Don't pay in full until you are happy, and I mean completely satisfied. Get it in writing and never give them a credit card cause they will bill you in full before its complete. I believe the owners of this company to be dishonest and thieves. They no nothing about being a general contractor. How do you go from painting tubs to being a general contractor anyway. I know, print it on a business card and say you are. Do your home work and find a company that will treat you right, honest and fair. read more

Why anyone would use this company and how they have a 5 star rating is beyond me. They also found a way to get two removed, wow they are good. If you use this company just open your check book and sign a check. Then give a blank signed check to them because the price will change with every phone call to or from them. The work will not get done to your satiation. It won't start on time and the warranty for the work is no good. They promise to start the job with a security deposit to hold the date is a joke. These people have no clue how to run a business and have no right to do what they do. They don't have any train employee's and can not keep an employee. I am here to tell you that any and all words that come from their mouths are lie's and I would not trust anything they say. If you check them out the have many law suits against them for various reasons and they use to be Miracle Method of Evanston, IL. They folded as them and re opened new doors. They have the same ethics as before but don't have to honor the warranty they had only in early 2012. All I can say is do not use them. Search the internet for another company who knows what they are doing and just does not want to take your money. I don't know how they went from low three stars a month ago to 5 now but I assure you that its not because they do a good job, they don't. Now to the work they did for me. This will be short and sweet. I used them early in 2013 without checking on who they were or where they came from. The work they did started late and cost me almost twice the amount I was quoted. This John guy who is in the office has no clue and sounds drunk or on drugs almost all the time. I had them paint a tub for me and replace a few tiles. What should of taken a day took three. The paint is scratched in area's and starting to chip. I tried calling the office to explain what was going on. I tried for a week, all week long with no answer. When I did get through to John, I was told Bonnie would handle the warranty work. I never got a call back. I tried calling again and someone new answered and told me that they were booked until the following months but I would get a call when they had someone free. To date no call back so I finally called a reputable company and had them re due it all. The new work is great, not like before. Since then I have talked to a few friends who had either used them or had a quote from them. Everyone said the same as me. I will never use them again or at all. Please beware of this company and the people who own it. All they want is your money and nothing else. People like this need to be put in jail, not run a company. I am thinking of filing a suit myself along with several others... Just Beware and do your homework. read more

Don't use Tub Hub and tile if you value the job that will be done. You will be throwing your money away for a pitiful job. They lack experience, leadership or any knowledge of what they say they know. If you are considering using them then please read each review carefully and then make your choice. To me it sounds as if all the bad one's of many sound bad and that the 4 that have 5 stars are fake or written by friends or family, not customers. I also believe that its true that they use to be Miracle Method of Evanston. Look under BBB web sight and look up Miracle Method and who the owners are. Its Bonny and John Lamondi, the two same people who run Tub Hub and tile. I have a business card with her name on it and I have talked to a John and a Henry in the office who are one in the same. I hired them to strip and paint the walls and a tub in one bath and boy was I sorry. Not only did they want the money up front but a credit card also. I said I wanted to pay by check to John one day and the next I was told by Henry that they needed a credit card to hold the date. Its a joke and I'm sorry I ever did business with that company at all and so will you if you do. Take my word and look elsewhere or just o your own research, but do it. If for some reason you end up using them Put no money down until the work is done. If you do not they will start and come back days later or even weeks because they have the ball, your money and now they own you. Oh yes. The warranty is no good also because their work is no good. So I hope you listened up and got wise and move on to a company with a reputation and even better, a good reputation. I hope this helps anyone who comes to this sight to find out what kind of company TUB HUB and TILE really is. Just really bad news!!! read more

I to can't believe that this company can get so many of the bad reviews filtered and two removed. The first three good one sound as if they were wrote by them self's and not customers. I read the two that were removed only a month ago and say nothing wrong to violate the terms. I don't know how they are doing it but someone is on their side and helping them to 1. get them filtered and 2. have them removed. I used this company and will never use or recommend them again to anyone, not even a enemy of mine. I agree highly with all the bad reviews and very much with Mike C, who's review got taken off. What is this world coming to? It leaves me incredibly disappointed and of course unable to trust that these folks are doing a good job because either they 1) don't really know what they're doing, or 2) are dishonest and greedy. Either way, I can't continue to do business there ever again. Most of all I want others to know exactly what they are in for so I plane to watch this sight closely so that this company either corrects the problems and stops taking peoples money for a job not meeting the standards of the contract or the propaganda that they are selling. This in the age of internet and companies like this one should never be able to do business or take money for jobs they are not capable of doing. The tub and tile around the tub were resurfaced changing the outdated and ugly color to sparkling white , just what I wanted. The entire experience was an A+ , due to Tub-Hub's proprietary method of GLAZING tubs and tile. My initial call was promptly returned ,the process explained , an estimate given and a date for service made at my convenience, no lengthy waiting period. They were extremely accommodating. The Monday appointment went off as explained in every way. They were PROFESSIONAL and very CLEAN. The results are outstanding ! My outdated and not matching tub and tile were transformed into a uniform color in the bright white to medium white family. My green tub and tile are now gone forever-----I am so happy ! They look like new and no MESS ! The service was totally professional -----I am amazed with the outcome. I believe their work quality is even superior to the last time we used them. I had Tub Hub and Tile do my master bath in my condo this summer. Two other companies I called wouldn't take the job on . It was too complicated. Tub Hub took the tub out and gutted the bathroom and installed a new tub , tile and accessories. Bonnie directed me on what my options would be with my budget and her team did an amazing job . There were many obstacles in this building , just one problem was the elevator was broken on 3 occasions during deliveries and they had to use steps to bring supplies upstairs - So frustrating , but they kept going and finished the job before I had to leave on vacation. I'm an artist and I wanted very specific tile designs on the floor and shower surround. The colors were shades of gray and white with satin nickel fixtures . If you are looking for a restoration, remodel or update to your kitchen and bath, look no further than Tub Hub in Skokie. The owner, Bonnie, has a small but mighty showroom. She is quick with many ideas to inspire, has plenty of options in materials to choose from and their prices are fair and competitive. I hired Tub Hub to do a gut renovation of my bathroom and the end result is beautiful - I couldn't be happier. My neighbors have worked with Bonnie & Tub Hub on both kitchen and bath remodels that they love. Once her company starts the job, Bonnie stops by daily to make sure the job is moving as it should - she is on top of EVERYTHING. Her work ethic is superior as is the finished product. We had our bathroom completely remodeled and designed by Bonnie and Tub Hub and Tile. We called up for a free estimate for our bathroom. Bonnie came out measured and took pictures. She invited us to the showroom to choose our tile fixtures and accessories. We scheduled the job. She had everything delievered that we chose. Gave us a time frame for completion never knowing that we would have to do it so quickly. We were in a hurry because Our family had to come to stay with us from Florida They lost their home in the disaster. We are so pleased with the work done and how easy she made it for us. Tub Hub and Tile was hired to refinish my entire bathroom. This included a new floor, refinish the tile walls, recolor the tub surround, vanity, sink and tub. These guys came in and did some amazing things in the bathroom. I couldn't believe it was my old tile, tub and vanity. Everything looked brand new and had a very durable feeling coating on all the surfaces that were refinished. The crew was clean and efficient and they followed through on everything they said they would. I recommend Tub Hub and Tile for full bathroom remodeling without the interruption of a full scale gutting. Tub Hub and Tile did my rental property 's tile floors - kitchen - hallway- and bathroom. I see their sign every day when I drive down Dempster in Skokie. So I stopped in and I talked with Bonnie . I wanted to get the property ready for Sept. 1 and she made it happen. I picked the tile for each area. I didn't have to worry about anything. The installers came with the tile. They finished in 2 day . Cleaned up . Then I told her that I had to paint the 2 bedrooms and the kitchen and I really wasn't up to doing it. She scheduled it 3 days later they came. It's all done. Tub Hub and Tile resurfaced my kitchen counter top and it looks amazing! You would think it was brand new! I went to their showroom in Skokie where Bonnie helped me design what I wanted my kitchen to look like. She was so patient with me and took all the time I needed to make my dream kitchen. We had a complete bathroom remodeling done and had difficulty with picking the right tiles for the shower stall, floor and vanity. Bonnie worked with us from the beginning to the end and she made our lives very easy by helping us pick the right tiles, vanity and fixtures. We had the safety step tub to shower conversion done for our disabled mother and brother. This is a great option for those not doing a complete bathroom remodel! Bonnie was very efficient and to-the-point with answering questions and the person who did the job was a very hard worker and conscientious about leaving the bathroom the way he found it before leaving. After due diligence in researching places, I called Final Touch. The woman on the phone explained how everything was done and also that because I found them on yelp, I get a discount. The guy that refinished it did an amazing job! It took him about 4 hours total. There were several spots that had tiles over-caulked and he fixed those as well as some glue that was on the floor from a vinyl piece that was stuck to the floor. (The bathroom was clear a hot mess.) All in all, we are so happy we went with Final Touch. They give you a 5 year warranty and tips on how to clean your new bathtub. I'd recommend them to anyone.

We were able to schedule a date based on my preferences and was quoted 5-8 days to complete the job. The installers were extremely careful moving our existing furniture and worked efficiently. If you live through flooring installation you know it is a loud and disruptive process but they tried to work in a way that was least disruptive. They also took care with the stain application & did the best job possible to preserve our moldings and carefully added shoe molding to the rooms with new hardwood. They matched the floors perfectly and the finished project was completed within the time promised. Furniture was moved back exactly as it was before the project. And the process is truly dustless. I was expecting residual dust but they took the time to clean everything! We also had a rug cleaned during the process and it came back looking great. Overall we were extremely pleased with Kashian.

I was given a reasonable quote based on initial measurements and then was instructed to leave the doors and that they would measure and cut the glass within a week. I had planned to install the glass and the rubber gaskets for the glass myself at home. I picked up the glass a few days later. They were very quick, but I couldn't get there until a couple of days after. I brought everything back and discovered that some of the glass didn't fit the openings in the doors. I contacted them immediately and they said they would not only recut where needed but that they would also install the glass free of charge. I brought the glass and all the doors (this time, which I really should've done the first time) back to S&S. I had hoped to have the glass job before a big dinner party, but it looked like it was not going to happen. To my surprise, Scott did the work in a single day, which was shocking to me. The doors were ready, and they looked great. Scott informed me that there can be discrepancies in door opening sizes despite them being identical doors, which now makes sense to me. He was very helpful, kind, and informative. We're very happy with their work and their customer service. The cabinets look great!
