One of these expensive places where I'd get offered well whisky I didn't want and I'd have to entertain an untrained dog they kept around because it's edgy. I wasn't happy with the haircut there. It looked fine after the cut, but required a lot of maintenance: goop and comb and goop and comb. Then it grew out poorly and required lots more goop. Jim saw me and right away said "Who did this to you?! How am I going to fix this?!" Then he groaned a lot. It was great. He worked with me, offered suggestions, we talked through options, and I left very happy. He was even happy! Best part is that the cut now makes sense for the way my hair grows. It looks better with no taming necessary. I've been going to see him ever since and have no reason to look anywhere else anymore.

Mando is the guy and there is also a woman, whom is very friendly but I never go with her. It's your traditional barbershop as soon as you walk in you can feel like family right away. They greet you with a huge smile and if they know you, I guarantee you will get a hug and a hand shake. Very personal service, and people might think it's only a haircut right? Well nope, when I make the 45 minute drive its worth every minute, every mile I have to travel to get here. Appointments are highly recommended as they are only two staff members and since they are extremely good they are often booked. They also allow walk-ins mainly on Monday and Tuesdays because those are the slowest days. To show appreciation to the new customers that might pop in on Monday and Tuesdays they offer specials. $5 off haircuts and shaves. Regulars also get the same benefit on those same days.
