He cuts hair the technically correct way and will proudly show you his Illinois licenses, that originally took him over 2,000 hours of schooling to obtain. The salon girls would say "I see you had a #6 cut the last time you were here". What does that actually even mean? I also started noticing that from time to time I left the salon with a cowlick. This never ever happened with a cut from Wayne. After too many poor cuts from salons, now I only go to Wayne. He greets me by my name when I enter, and during the course of the cut we talk about happenings around town, people we know in common, a bit of local politics, sometimes the weather, etc. It's a lot like the experience in the barber shops in town from when I grew up here.
