Hit or miss .... I like how organized it is. But- their music is SO LOUD -my teenaged daughter and I couldn't STAND it longer than 10 minutes. And the air freshener scent is overwhelming. I went with an entire large garbage bag full of brand new with tags attached items or items in brand new condition worn only one time. Nothing had wear marks, stains, pulls or damage of any kind. I also included a few handbags and a pair of worn flip flops. The only items they bought were the flip flops and one straw (inexpensive) handbag. The items i brought in were far better than any of the rags they had hanging on their racks. This place is a joke and a ripoff. Don't waste your time dragging in items to sell. read more

Brought 3 tubs of nice clothing there most of which still Had tags on them, they took a beautiful jumpsuit from me, didn't tell me they had that on the receipt and paid me 3.00 for it. They have no taste and rob you blind read more

I have adored style encore ever since I first happened across it back in 2018. I purchase my handbags from them and I've also sold a few pieces to them. It's easy for others to get offended if your items weren't picked hell even majority of mine were not picked however you have to understand that it's not your typical thrift store and your not always going to make money it's not as easy as they say. However I do love there items and when you take the time to thoroughly look you will definitely find your perfect fit!! Love love love this store! Thank you to the staff! read more

The staff isn't welcoming at all...people walk in and NOT EVEN A SMILE I think they should be a bit more welcoming. The clothes are nice the prices are good as well..they do have more I would say "older women" clothing...you really have to look for a younger style BUT overall it's not that bad...somethings are over prices for the condition they're in BUT not all the time! I was looking for a specific pair of Nanette Lepore shoes and used Google to find them. They were listed on the site of Style Encore....a site that I was not at all familiar with, and so of course I was hesitant, especially after buying the same shoe on Mercari ;s website.. The shoes listed on Mercari came in a condition that I would describe as 'deplorable'. The pics were great from Style Encore,, but so were the ones with Mercari! I decided to call the store and a really helpful young lady took my info and promised to call back once the shoes were located. Within 20 minutes, I received a callback. I asked about the condition of the shoe and decided to place the order once I was given the condition. That was less than a week ago. I was surprised that they were delivered so quickly, as I received them today. The shoes are AMAZING!! The packaging was very carefully done and a receipt was put in the box. I called the store a few minutes ago to thank them for meeting and exceeding my expectations. I am THRILLED. NEVER again will I order from Mercari, but I plan on becoming a repeat customer with Style Encore!! THANK YOU SO MUC!! YOU GUYS ARE AMAZING!!!!!! read more

Style Encore has quickly gone downhill. I discovered this place about a year ago, I sold some clothes and bought some decent items since that time. I went last weekend to do the same. I had the clothes type that they stated that they wanted to purchase (denim, fall etc) . Included was a pair of Coach Shoes, practically new which are still in the store and they passed on all but some workout clothes, and a dress. I had some nice work type clothes I purchased from Macys, NWT too. No reason given, I found that the clothes for sale were much lower quality than in previous visits. I had to wait quite a while and observed that pretty much anyone who came in to sell was wasting their time. I don't live in the area so would have appreciated being told that we aren't buying before the trip. I'd rather just donate the clothes somewhere particularly the newer stuff. Unless you are local, I'd not bother. read more

I was very happy with my experience in this store. It was my first time there and I think the staff was friendly and helpful. I think they have a great selection of clothing. I left with 2 new tops that were VERY reasonably priced for the brand and condition. Speaking of condition, everything I looked at was in excellent condition. I didn't see anything in poor condition. I will definitely come here again when I'm in the area. I'm on the other side of the Lehigh Valley so it's not that close to me. Very kind staff however, the clothes that they do not buy back are just thrown back into your bin or bag. There appears to be no care in how they return them to you. Also, the returned items reek of the awful air freshener in the building. read more

Im so disappointed. I went there to sell a Coach Set. The woman in the store told me to come back tomorrow cause they didnt have any money to buy my merchandise cause it was Sunday and the bank was closed. So then they should not be open on Sunday. Make sure you call first. read more

Don't bother trying to sell to them if you're plus size. I was super excited to find this place which is similar to Plato's Closet but has Styles geared towards women and also allegedly carries plus size. The plus-size selection is there but it's very slim picking. I was super excited though because I was excited to go and sell some of extra stuff to them, I made trips on two separate occasions, and had a total of 5 big blue Ikea bags full of stuff for them to go through, out of all that they may be bought about 5 pieces. They would always tell me I'm sorry there's too much wear and tear on the items, which I think is their catch-all excuse since they tell that to every person in the store. Some of the items I tried to sell to them still had price tags on them and were brand-new so they didn't have wear and tear. This was over the course of about a month and I can only assume they're not actually buying much plus size, every time I went into the store it was the same few plus-size items on the racks and I kind of get the feeling that they just keep a little bit on plus size items on hamd so that they can say they carry plus size but are not actively purchasing much. It was incredibly frustrating and disappointing. Was so hopeful for the store and if they were actually moving any plus-size clothes into the store I'd be in here shopping every week it honestly was not worth my time to come in for shopping or selling probably won't be back for a while if at all. Also would get different answers from different cashiers on the different days the first time I went in they said no we don't need summer stuff please bring us fall stuff and then when I brought sweaters I heard them telling the girl in front of me that they're not buying fall stuff yet so either they're just lying to get you to leave without questioning anything or nobody knows what's going on. Super disappointing, it's a fantastic idea just follow through on it and start buying more plus size stuff! read more

Great place to go to buy items for sure, but I wouldn't recommend selling high end items to them. The way they do things you get literally nothing for your items, they give you a third of what they would sell the item for. Id recommend clothes mentor to sell purses to as they give you half of what they would sell for. Like i said, buying is a good experience but if you want to make any money back on your items then this isnt the place. read more

Let me start by saying this location isn't even worth any stars. Management is very rude & the owners just care about the money and not how they treat their employees. In the past may 3 months they have hired & fired people. They just recently got a machine that detect if their designer bags or shoes are sure 100% real so please be carefully with that as well. There have been multiple times someone have returned something that was purchased from the store that was claimed to be authenticated that turned out to be fake. They violate all sorts of franchise regulations. There is no room for growth here. They are sure to go out of business they borrow money from other locations because they can't meet deadlines or produce revenue in sales. It unfair pay. They expect you do so much but pay so little & that if you get you pack check on time. They offer no benefits. If you actually earn you time off they punish you for trying to take it either you get written up or they try to mess with your hrs. Working here was like being in high school all over again with all the clique atmosphere. Then with their prices they are completely overpriced. I have contacted Winmark many time to inform them of the type of business that is being ran by the owners between Style Encore & Platos.
