This my first visit to Style Nails & Spa. I have been trying out different nail salons in the area, this is by far the nicest and the CLEANEST!! The salon itself is decorated to have an elegant and calm effect. The salon as I mentioned is very clean and all the instruments they use have been sanitized and wrapped. The files and buffers are new and you can take them home if you like when they are done. Cindy was my technician and she did a beautiful mani/pedi, very detailed and a perfectionist. Tried this place out because me and a friend have been looking for a place to make our go-to spot. Had the worst first experience and will not be returning here. The lady was extremely rough. My cuticles are tore up and she sliced part of my finger from filing so hard. I also wouldnt be as upset if I thought she did a good job but my nails were crooked, shaped unevenly and have bubbles. My usual nail salon happened to not have their acrylic nail technicians in today, so I was desperate to find somewhere else to get my nails done. I'm very picky and often very scared to try new places because when my nails get done poorly it just ruins you my day. I ended up coming here, mostly because it was the only place that could take me at short notice but I'm so glad they did. Tina was my nail technician and she did SUCH great job. She was nice, and also I've never had a nail tech be so reassuring and asking me the whole time if I liked the shape etc and was so willing to do any minor changes I wanted. Usually I feel uncomfortable telling them to fix this or that because they seem annoyed or get defensive. She was on my side the whole time! Also she helped me pick the color when I didn't even know what color I wanted. I usually get "clear pink" but wanted something similar but different. And it's hard to match colors to my skin because it's so fair. She instantly had a color in mind and was confident that i would love it. She was right! Everyone seemed friendly although they were very busy so we had to wait 30-45 minutes even with appointments. One of my daughters got acrylics - ombré in a coffin shape and they are gorgeous (I recommend Lucy or Joanne). Definitely have an appointment and try to go during the week. I would give them four stars because of the wait and they seemed unorganized, and because we had an appointment with Lucy but she said she couldn't help us when we got there, but Joanne did such a good job that I have to give five stars! read more

If the owner is reading this please tell your workers to go easy on the clippers and pinching the finger when dipping or putting on the sealer. She pinched my fingers so hard it was very uncomfortable. I told her she was rough and I made it very clear that I was in pain and in discomfort. It also seemed like she was in a rush and cleaned the edges of my fingernail bed poorly. I really don't think my nails are going to last 4 weeks. Price is also expensive!!!! $42 for dipped nails. My friend and I showed up around 6ish for our first time, no appointment made and we were serviced although it was closing time. She got acrylics and I got a shellac pedicure. We were finished in a rushed manner only because the workers were in a hurry to leave. We were unaware of how close it was to closing time and felt terrible. Her nails were pretty and even but my pedicure was subpar. Fast forward to today, 2 weeks later, the edges of the polish have lifted annoyingly forcing me to pick it all off. The worst customer service ever provided by Mindy or Cindy, she didn't seem to remember her name when asked. I went in on Thursday to get my nails done and was specific about them due to people like her who want to charge a lot of money and not provide the services. Well, I was told that she had done the best she could do or maybe my nails didn't hold Gel. My nails were peeling off by Tuesday. That was funny given she had to remove Gel from my nails that had been on for over 3 weeks, with no problem. The prices are high for the quality of work done at least by her. Mindy's attitude is about as equal as her work, it sucks! They guaranteed me 2 weeks, I couldn't get a few days so I was told I could get my money back and that is what I will be doing. My cousin had a man to do her feet and he was nice along with the young lady who did my feet. Just don't go to Cindy or Mindy, she can't remember her name or how to provide good customer service. Spending $70, I am expecting a good attitude and for my nails to last a few weeks. I will not be back outside of collecting my money! read more

Had a gel mani here. The lady that did my nails was really rough and it felt like she was shaving off some of the layers on my nails while using the filing tool. The gel polish was very watery, it kept leaking all over my fingers and she had to literally do like 5 coats. The LED drying lamp she used to dry my gel coats was full of other gel polish. Some even baked on the bottom of one of my fingers. I asked her to clean it and she took the cuticle took and started pulling the polish off of my skin, along with my skin! I said ouch! She kept doing it, I pulled my hand back and said that hurts!! Then she laughed. As she was cleaning the rest of my nails up, she tried pulling the polish off of my skin again with the cuticle tool. I said ouch that's ok just leave it! She jacked up the polish on my thumb and I just wanted to get out of there so I didn't have her fix it. I made an appt for myself and my daughter on a Saturday morning. We walked right in, picked out our gel colors and sat down immediately. Very fast and friendly service. Their located next to Ulta which is a huge plus for me. There's plenty of parking as well. Their staff is very pleasant and their quality of work is great! Their selection of polishes is perfect. All their missing is complimentary wine :) it's close to home so i love dropping in for a mani and pedi. My daughter even enjoys it here and she's a picky teenager. I took a chance on this salon two days ago and was not disappointed! I was looking for a convenient place near me in east Lake Worth and the place I usually go downtown was booked. I found Style Bar Nail & Spa online and was surprised to see how reasonable the prices were for being across the bridge on Palm Beach and saw they had late appointments so I called and they were able to take me in at exactly the time I wanted. When I arrived there was plenty of easy parking and the salon itself was clean and modern. All the staff was extremely friendly. I was immediately greeted and offered assistance in picking out colors for my pedicure and decided on a manicure with the dipping powder, too; they offered to do my nails and toes at the same time which was a nice time saver as a new mom with not a lot of time to get out. The pedicure stations are comfortable and sanitary, they use disposable liners which is something I really like to see. The pedicure and manicure were fantastic, the stylists took time to made sure I was happy with the results, the leg massage was nice, too. The manicure was fast and no dry time. Oh and can't forget the complimentary wine! All in all it was a great experience and I definitely plan to return for nail services and try their other spa services as well. He suggested a fill compared to completely remove the acrylic and let me tell you the result is just amazing I was so happy and I will def return. Nice salon but shoddy work and not very relaxing either. I found this place on yelp and was hoping for a relaxing pedicure and gel manicure, but it was rushed and uncomfortable. I was able to get right in and they didn't seem very busy. About 5 minutes after my pedicure started, a young man (masked), walked over to start my gel manicure at the same time I was getting my pedicure done. So no time for relaxing I guess. He even turned off my massage chair without asking! After spending almost $60 for both services, I'd expect it to be a little more relaxing. When I got home, I inspected their work and I'm very disappointed. It doesn't look like my old nail polish was taken off completely and you can definitely see it through my new polish. Plus, it's pretty messy! I wish I would've checked it out before leaving, but I kinda felt like I was being pushed out of there! They did not take the time to make sure this was done correctly at all. I would not recommend this place at all. read more

Okay. I decided to try this place at least 3 or 4 times before I wrote a review. There will not be a 4th time. The first time I went I only got a pedicure. Tina was my nail tech and she did a wonderful job. She took her time and my feet looked and felt amazing. So I of course was thrilled and went back the following day for a manicure. I once again was greeted by Tina who recognized me and took me to an open table without making me wait. My experience this second time around wasn't awful, but it certainly wasn't great. I told her from the beginning I'd like my nails to be kept the round shape they were but she cut them into squares. Okay. No big deal. Just shape them. She ended up shaping them almost all the way down to the skin and at that point I was just ready to leave. But I had to remind myself this manicure was only $12 and I needed to be patient because of the language barrier. She made up for my ugly ish nails by giving me a great hand/arm massage. Third times a charm right? No jk. I shouldn't have gone back but I'm glad I did. My prenatal vitamins work tremendously and my nails grew back before no time. So I went back and was once again given Tina. I was hoping for someone else but I went in while they were busy so I kept my mouth shut. She started doing my nails and then was like "oh you pay now" so I was like "k here's my card". I decided to leave her a cash tip so I put just the total amount on my bill and her entire demeanor changed from there. Like girl I'm not going to tip you until I know my nails look good. She was so rough with my nails after that and it literally took her 10 mins to finish my so called "manicure". She then looks me in the eye and says "okay goodbye now". Got up and just left me at the table without turning on that stupid little fan or moving me to the dryer table like she did last time. THIS IS NOT OKAY. Here's my suggestion to any and all people working in this type of industry. Don't assume that you're not going to get a tip. The customer doesn't know what kind of work they're getting so I'm not going to tip you until the end. She did a SHITTY nail job. She didn't clean under my nails nor did she trim the dead skin off my cuticles and she didn't paint the edges or put on the clear coat when she was done. I will NEVER come back here again.
