Just had 2 suits tailored and a seam on my pants fixed. I bought a suit real cheap, but my size is difficult, so we had to take a lot in on the pants for the coat to be the right size. I had done it once before and it didn't turn out well. This time around it worked out great. First off, they fixed the seam in my pant leg and gave it back to me for free as I was being fit. The pricing is more than I remember paying in the past, but then again, the result was poor in the past. I now have two suits that look sharp. Turn around time was about 10 days, so plan for it. I didn't need them for 10 days, so it wasn't a problem for me. Will be returning with more items as needed. read more

YES FINALLY! A tailor that knows what she's doing! Tina is the best. First of all, their boutique is clean and nicely lit with mirrors on the walls, 2 dressing rooms, and a small pedestal for fittings. I love that I can just walk in, try something on, and she will look at you and pin you right away. She will also give you advice on what the garment needs and will not push you to do anything you don't want to do after she quotes you on it. You only pay once the garment is finished. I took in a formal dress for my bridal shower and my tea length wedding reception dress to get altered, and she had both done within a week. Quick turnaround and amazing service! The formal dress was $50 and my wedding reception dress was $80 because it needed a little bit more loving after having been destroyed by another tailor, but I was so proud to wear it on my wedding dress and it moved beautifully. I had a full sequin dress tailored for a much better price then a few places compared. Tina was very nice and was accommodating with the alterations to the skirt, train, bodice and other areas I wanted fixed. The dress came out perfect with the hem. I took a suite in to have it altered To shorten sleeves pants and coat When I went back for pick up one sleeve was shorter than the other so as the pants legs Where they short Ned the coat they left too much material inside and pressed the jacket now you can see the excess material imprinted on the outside of the coat I had to go back a second time for the corrections ; you could see the material damaged from the stitching where they had to lengthen the pants and coat sleeves You can also see the fold of the pants wheee they had to lengthen to match the other leg This was a Zegna tux by the way , at any rate I ended up buying another tux and took else where to have it altered. I am disappointed two folds one for the results, and the lack of follow up or an apology afterwards for the mishap , after all they know I am not happy since I never went back to pick up my Tux . I have been trusting Tina for over 10 years -- she is the BEST! Years ago she reduced about 20 of my classic business suits (women's) from a size 12 to a size 6. Everything was beautifully done, and I had an entirely new wardrobe! I have relied on her for everything -- a wedding dress, men's suits, hemlines, beading repairs, a complicated patchwork quilt, and even remakes of our outdoor patio cushions! This place was okay. I got my prom dress hemmed here which had a train. I asked the lady at the front for a quote when I walked in and she asked me if I wanted to hem it. Then, she asked me if I wanted to pin up the back because it was for a dance. Not knowing what she meant, I said yes. She quoted me $60. After I tried it on and she started pinning up the dress, she pinned up the train and then I said I wanted to keep the train at its normal length. When she rang the bill up, it was still $60 even though I didn't need to alter the train. I felt that she could've gave me something cheaper since now she didn't need to alter the train and only needed to hem the front part of the dress. I felt it was overpriced when I left the store but I haven't gotten enough dresses hemmed to judge. However, my other friend needed her dress hemmed for prom as well, and hers only cost around $30. This place is very overpriced, but I guess they did a good job. If you don't mind the price, then come here. read more

They did my wedding dress and it came out AMAZING! I'll try and remember to post pictures after the big day, but it was so easy working with Tina! There was A LOT to be done...take it up, take it in, adjust the straps, get rid of the bottom layer, add a bustle, make it a sweetheart neckline, and reposition a bunch of lace...she made it look perfect and had everything done when she said she would! She even hid the bustle hooks and eyes under the lace so that you can't see it, I didn't even ask her to do that, she just did! Already went back for my fiance's pants to be hemmed and just went in yesterday (Tuesday) to alter my rehearsal dinner dress which needs to be done by Friday, and she said no problem! And just FYI...total alterations for my dress came out to $550, which I think is reasonable for everything that had to be done. read more

This is my go to place for any alteration. I got alteration for 3 t-shirts, 2 shirts and 1 pant. Phuong will greet you with a smile and will insist on you trying out the stuff you want altered. She will use her special marker and pins to know exactly the alteration needed and how it will look, she will do it till you are comfortable. Once she is done she will provide a date for pickup. When you go for pickup again she will insist on you trying out the final altered stuff and show it to her. I was looking for a tailor and found this place on yelp. I've been going for awhile and pleased with all the work that's been done. If you're coming here following Yelp, just know that it might not direct you completely there. It's in the plaza in the same complex behind Mels. Just drive in and park in the lot inside. There wasn't much wait the few times I've been there and all the ladies are friendly. They've always defaulted to asking me to come back in a week, which is fine by me. Style Today Tailoring was awesome! I didn't have a local tailor and decided to try them out when an item ripped off my peacoat. They were friendly and were able to fix it within five minutes and they only charged me $3! I brought my 2 dresses here to have alterations done; one dress was shortened and the other was brought in at the straps. I picked them up today and they both fit so good! I like that I can stop by on a Saturday to drop off/pick up because I'm often too busy during the week. I felt the price was reasonable although I don't really have another experience to compare. I went through several tailors within a 10 miles radius before coming across Style Today and have faithfully brought my items here since. I've probably been a customer for 5 years. Tina does amazing work. Her prices are fair, not the cheapest in town, but it's QUALITY work done on time. She is also very pleasant, very polite. Not at all as obnoxious as other tailors I tried in the past who charge me based more on the retail price of the garment than the work that's being done. Wanted to order a custom wedding dress (from etsy) and the seller recommended I get professional measurements. I called a few places and asked if they would take my measurements but once they realized I didn't want any alterations or actual work done, they would tell me no, they don't do that. Really?!?! I even offered to pay and received a few rude No's. So this location was my 3rd try and I spoke to such a sweet lady who told me to come on in and she'd help me. I went in and she did the full scale of measurements and even suggested when I should go shorter or longer depending on what I was having made for me. At the end I offered to pay her for helping me and she smiled and shook her head and I tried to pay her again and she rubbed my back and gave my shoulder a motherly squeeze as if to say "no thank you" pridefully yet nicely. I know I didn't get any actual alterations here, but you bet your ass I'll be coming here when I need anything hemmed, altered, repaired or patched!
