I never write bad reviews but I genuinely did not like my experience. She said it was $110 and up, which I overheard over the phone she was giving that estimate for color and for balayage but for a basic all over color was $180. I wouldn't mind paying that if it was a luxury salon and they really took care of me and my needs but I didn't receive that at all. When I asked for the color and showed her pictures she just gave me a color book and went on her phone impatiently waiting. I don't know anything about color and coloring hair that's why I go to an expert. If I wanted that experience I would go to sally Hanson and pick any color old color from the box and the colors she used were from sally Hanson. The exact ones you can get there. I wanted a dark brown neutral and she was saying these are all neutral dark browns so I randomly picked a color that was listed as a dark brown. The color came out black. Completely black. Nothing than what I wanted. She mistreated my hair the whole process. She was combing out my hair after the dye was on so she was tugging at my head very strongly that I could see how much hair was pulled, when she was drying my hair she was wiping my head all over and literally rubbing my hair in between the towels which is very bad for the hair. I've been too plenty of good salons so I know that is not something that a good hairstylist would do that actually care for my hair. She didn't show any type of care for my hair the whole process. When she said $110 and up she meant $110 to just walk into her salon, and per bowl sky rockets the costs even though it's not a full bowl made. So she said she did 3 bowls which exactly was 3 bowls that were not correctly measured because she has to do a corrected because my hair was still red. Which skilled professional would know we needed to cancel out the color in the first place. And after all that, I asked her I said my hair was not the color I wanted because it was pitch black and she said to wait for a month and when I asked if she can lighten it she said she'd have to bleach it. 1st she wanted me to pay her again for what was done by waiting a month and didn't even want to fix it when a professional would help a client in this situation that they did and 2nd bleaching it is crazy and uncorrect. I talked to my hair stylist back home and she said to use clarifying shampoo. Which she's an angel for helping me out when I didn't even see her! And the worst part is after going to her I was having huge hair balls more than I usually have. I never have hair loss but since going to her I've seen it on the floor and in the tub an excessive amount that is not normal for me. I would not come back again and would not recommend her to anyone that I want to have beautiful hair or a peace of mind. read more

WARNING! DONT DO IT!! I normally don't write reviews but if it can prevent someone from ruining their hair and WASTING their money, I will! I came to Rose with below waist length of hair, copper hair with blond highlights and my dark roots. When at the salon, we discussed the change I wanted which was to trim about 4 inches of my hair and very low maintenance color (i am pregnant and figured I wouldn't be dying my hair in some time so low maintenance was the way to go!) ....Soooo I showed her a picture of the dark color hair and brown/golden highlights I desired. Here's is what I got: SHOULDER LENGHT HAIR, SAME COPPER COLOR WITH DARK ROOTS AND BURNT pre-existing BLONDE HIGHLIGHTS! She over processed the already existing highlights so my hair was failing off and after much thinking...this is exactly why she CHOPPED MY HAIR! She had burnt the She literally cut over 10" of hair! I was in complete shock when she finish! Rose had the audacity to charge me $280. She knew she messed up because of my expression/behavior and her "fix" was to discount it down to $250!! I did paid, I shouldn't have, but I think I was in complete shock that I just wanted to get out of there! I sat in my car and cried! I texted her pictures the next day, exchanged a couple text and she offered to fix it. WHY WOULD I GO BACK TO SOMEONE THAT MESSED UP MY HAIR SO BAD! CUT MORE THAN HALF OF MY HAIR, OVERPROCESSED MY HAIR TO THW POINT THAT IS BURNT AND FALLING OFF!?!? Would you? I text her and told her I didn't feel comfortable going back to her to "fix" my hair because she had done so much damage and I asked her to refund me some money so I can get it fixed elsewhere. I offered to pay for her material, but labor should be reimbursed so that someone can fix it! She refused. She said that she can't offer reimbursement because I didn't LIKE the way my hair turn out. LIKE!?! LIKE!?! ROSE! YOU DID NOTHING THAT I ASK FOR! YOU DIDNT SYE MY HAIR THE COLOR I WANTED, THE DARK ROOTS ARE STILL THERE AND AND ANDDDDD SHE CUT THW HAIR THAT IVE BEEN LETTING GROW FOR 3 YEARS! 3 YEARSSSS!! Needsless to say, do not get your hair done from her. Terrible experience, terrible location, terrible hair stylist, terrible everything! Adding pictures for reference because I am sure she is going to want to dispute my claim. Answer to Rose's response: that is correct! Before cutting my hair, we determined the lenght. Which was right above waist line NOT SHOULDER LENGHT! I did ask for layers, but again, layers does not mean chop my hair off to shoulder lenght!!! At this point, I don't want a refund. I want people to know my experience and avoid this terrible feeling. My sister and I called Rose the morning of to see if she had any openings for a haircut and style and she did! She was very flexible and accommodating. Her space was so inviting, cozy, and clean. It is located inside of a senior center, so masks are required when you enter into the center but you can take it off when you enter her studio. She provided a full service which consisted of a consult, wash, cut, and style. I explained what I wanted and showed her a few reference photos and she did a fantastic job!
