Where do I even begin... Let me preface this by saying that when you are booking ANY kind of beauty service, you are taking a risk because we are *still* in a worldwide pandemic. Hell...we are assuming a risk by merely going to the grocery store (not all of us use instacart ok) I booked with Stefanie assuming this risk because I was desperate for my hair to be fixed and I knew that I had been safe at home for weeks. Upon receiving my services from Stefanie after a whole year of no hair cuts or color, boy did she make me feel comfortable! Her sanitation procedures were thorough and not only that...my hair came out AMAZING (as usual). I have nothing but amazing things to say about Stefanie. She is a bada$$ working mom who knows her stuff!! I can tell through her service that she wants nothing more than to serve her clients in the best ways that she can during a tough time in the world. Can you say selfless? Certain "karens" may not take responsibility for the risk they may be assuming by going out and about literally ANYWHERE during a pandemic--but my best advice for those people is: just stay home until things go back to "normal" (what is normal anyway am i right?). I've been going to Stefanie for about fifteen years and I would follow her from the ends of the earth and back. With that said, I'm super glad I only have to go to the lovely Sola Salon in Sherman Oaks. It's a beautiful building and Stefanie has her own personal salon studio in the building. Parking is relatively easy as there's valet in the back for $6, however if you're on the street you must refill the meter every two hours. Stef is wonderful and knows hair well. She can tell what is best for your hairs' texture, styling each person individually, rather than by formula or lessons learned. She's intuitive and creative, taking her time with each person. I always love coming to Stefanie for my cuts and color. I'm the type of client who wants something different every time I come in and she nails it every single time, there's honestly no one I'd rather go to. If you color your hair (especially as a blonde), then you know how hard it can be to get it right. I had been seeing the same colorist in Orange County for years before moving up to LA, and was very reluctant to try somebody new, but he referred me to Stefanie as a trusted alternative and I haven't looked back since. Not only does the color look extremely natural, but it grows out beautifully (in sort of a balayage way), so I can get away with coming in 1-2 times a year without worrying about harsh roots in between visits. Stefanie is literally amazing. I have trusted her with my hair for years now. Together we have gone on some hair journeys. She has given me front bangs (something I never though I would do), helped me maintain them and helped me grow them out. She has chopped me hair from about 3 inches above my belly to above shoulder length. And we have experimented with balayage, ombre, and regular highlights...not to mention getting me back to super dark hair when I was completely over the blonde :) Stefanie is a pro if you ask me. Before I met Stefanie I had some hair disasters (a temp dye that didn't come out and then a professional stripped my hair and it was crazy damaged and horrendous).
