Yay! I FINALLY found my hair person!! It's been years, and I have what I consider difficult, thick, wavy, frizzy, hair that I hate to have to style all the time because kids = less time for me. Cindy is magic with my hair. This is the first cut I've maybe EVER had that I can let it air dry and it LOOKS styled. It looks intentional and current. She found me the perfect, easy product to put in while wet that keeps the frizz from frizzing. She mixed the perfect color for and also figured out the most effective way to cover my grays, and a plan to upkeep it while staying within my budget. I wanted to update my review as Cindy has moved salons and is now found in the Kobe B Salon. The atmosphere there is lovely and, of course, Cindy is the best! I let my hair color grow out for almost a year and just went back yesterday to get it cut and colored. Cindy is a wizard with both but she really is something with knowing just how to color someone's hair. And she gives great advice on what cut would work best! Wow! I'm thrilled with the cut Cindy gave my hair for summer. I asked her to chop it off a few inches (but not too much), but didn't give her much instruction otherwise. I walked out with a trendy and flattering cut that I never would've imagined if left to my own devices. Plus, she's fun and easy to talk to. I felt totally comfortable in her chair, which is not an easy feat when cutting my hair at a new salon. Cindy asked me questions while I was sitting in the chair to make sure I'd be happy with the cut. Normally I keep my hair blunt and (admittedly) boring, but Cindy's fine-crafted hands changed all that. We opted to cut my hair "shattered" at the ends so it isn't all one flat length. Cindy is the best! Not only is she adorable and super sweet, but she really knows her chosen profession! I went for a color, cut, and sexy style, as I was going out for my birthday. I told her that I no longer wanted hi-lite's because my hair was too damaged for them and I needed darker hair to make it look healthier. I told her that I wanted it to be a chocolatey brown. Mission accomplished! My hair came out exactly the way I wanted it to; a rich, gorgeous, chocolatey brown with a golden undertone. Stunning! I really felt that this was achieved simply because she LISTENED. Onto the cut. I told her that although I knew I needed a good cut since my hair was so damaged, I was trying to grow my hair out and wanted to keep as much length as I could. She also suggested a treatment for my hair since it was so damaged, and I agreed. By the time I was done, my dry, damaged hair was transformed into soft, bouncy, sex- kitten hair! I love going for hair cuts now. Yes, my wallet hurts afterwards. But Cindy's worth it. She's warm and very attentive. I'm glad I found her. My hair always looks great afterwards. I came to Cindy because of my good friend's high recommendations and raves about her and her skills. I am very glad I came. She really listened to what I wanted & my concerns. She asked follow up questions to make sure we were both on the same page about the plan. I did not come in with any visuals to help communicate what I wanted, something that I usually do but this time around I didn't since I wanted something new but nothing too different. Once I got to the salon, I was sifting through some mags and found a few pics that showed what was in my head. In any case, this really helped communicate what I was thinking and I think really helped Cindy understand me better and give me the awesome cut she did. So bring inspiration pics!
