When booking with Graeber they have a very intensive online "questionnaire" to determine what stylist would be best suited for your needs. I was paired with Raul. He listened to me, viewed all of my photos and gave me feedback on my style and photos and we were in agreement on the best path forward. The receptionist also was very welcoming, offered me coffee and gave me a tour. They carry Oribe and Aveda products which I use so that also is great. In addition to cuts/styles they have extensive skin care routines/facials. The services and products are not inexpensive but if you know what you want this is where you can get it. There was a glitch with their online booking system in which it made it appear that no openings were available, thankfully they reached out by phone and I was able to get in. I explained about the issue booking and they said they would address that, so if you don't find a slot online I suggest you call. Also I found easy on street parking so that was definitely a plus. I've attempted to contact this business three times by the phone number listed on Google. It is an hour after their listed opening time and nobody is answering - fine, they may be busy. (EDIT: Yelp was the only site that indicated they are closed today.) However, it seems they've simply turned off the phone or are sending calls directly to voicemail as it currently rings once and goes right to a personal voicemail for "Mandy". Their website indicates someone named Mandy works there, however, why is the listed number her personal phone? And if it isn't her personal phone, why is the message a slurred "this is Mandy, leave a message"? Who am I calling? Either there is a strong lack of basic professionalism here or their Google and website info is wrong. Either way, it's left a bad taste in my mouth and I have no desire to use this salon anymore. She started re-lightening but didn't pull the bleach all the way to the top of the highlights, opting instead to do a root smudge to cover the roots. Unfortunately, that has since faded, leaving me with very orange roots. She also didn't have time to address all the highlights, so she suggested I book a follow-up in four weeks to give my hair time to recover. When I reached out to confirm the appointment, Julie told me I didn't have one on record. I knew I had booked, so I found my email confirmation and sent it to her. Communication was a struggle; she often took days to respond, and I had to push for updates. Eventually, she said that the two-hour appointment I had wasn't long enough for what I needed, though this was never clarified when I initially booked. She said I should cancel it and couldn't get me in for another month! Had she communicated and been responsive I could have booked properly way sooner. To add to it, Julie's attitude came across as quite rude, which made the experience even more frustrating. Although she seemed knowledgeable, the communication, scheduling issues, and lack of attention to detail left me disappointed with the outcome.
