I don't remember who did my hair but they usually cut my dad's hair. However, she did really good on my hair. I wanted chunky blonde highlights, essentially a 2000s look. A lot of the salons said they can only get my hair to a medium brown due to my hair being black. But this lady who did my hair pulled through. I called yesterday and booked an appointment for today at 11:00 am. I'm working night shift, so I don't get off until 5 am. Still, I woke up at 9:30, showered and washed my hair and came in at 10:30. When I got there, I was told it'd be a 10 minute wait, which was fine since I was early for my "appointment". The lobby was empty and there was 2 stylists with a client each. About 20 minutes into my wait, an older white lady comes in. She seemed to be a regular as she knew the owner by name and seemed to have rapport. This lady waits 15 mins before they tell her to have a seat. At this point, I'm at almost 40 mins of waiting and well past my appointment time. Nobody acknowledged me or gave me a reason for why I wasn't taken before. Mind you, this lady appeared to be a walk in, not that they seem to honor appointment times anyways. At about the 70 minute mark I walked out. I woke up early after 3 hours of sleep because I respect their time & ended up walking out with no haircut because they do not. By the time I left, the lobby was basically full and they were quoting ppl a 30 minute wait, which makes no sense because I waited over an hour and that's that there was nobody else waiting when I got there. Needless to say, I won't be coming here again. There's plenty of good salons that respect their customers. What a waste of my time! read more

I was in desperate need last friday for a haircut and I turned to yelp for a miracle, I wanted to find an OG salon with ladies with more experience and I found it in this one :) I called and ask for Gabriela (since I saw her name in a few of the positive yelps) she was the one who answered gave me a quote (which I found surprising cuz now a days a haircut is like $30 -$40) and told me to come in 30 mins!
