At one point in the process the hairdresser pointed out that there were other brand blowouts, I refused. At the end of the process she tried to sell me a product because it was from the same company as the product she used--NOT the Brazilian Blowout product I wanted. She also did such a terrible job with the color. I went back for a cut and to have the color redone. She had to use a toner when she overdid one area of highlights. I foolishly paid for the color twice, and the toner once. I should not have paid for her mistakes. I feel deceived about the blowout treatment, and the double charges.

I took a half a day off of work, drove the 30+ minutes to the salon, only to be told Chelsea's not there anymore and I no longer have an appointment. No call, text, or email (all of which they have and have used in the past) telling me my appointment was canceled. No heads up that my stylist left and asking if I wanted to switch to another one. Nothing. The receptionist was polite and let me know the manager wasn't in but she would let her know to contact me. I received a call later saying they would try to get me in with another master stylist - but then they asked what services I was getting! Chelsea is a master stylist - we talk about what we want to do, she makes it happen. I don't want or need to know the name of the services it goes under - I just want it done. I have spent thousands of dollars at this salon between my haircuts and color, my daughter's haircuts and tinsel application, and purchasing products. For them to cancel my appointment with no communication and then to apparently have no information available about my normal processes is just too much. While the stylists are lovely, the management is terrible. Find a stylist at a different Aveda salon where they value their customers.
