Moving from my long time stylist in Colorado to South Carolina I was nervous about finding a new…read moresalon to take care of me & my teen daughter. I was fortunate to not only find a hair stylist but also an aesthetician (who provided sugar waxing services). This salon is the epitome of luxury, pampered, high quality services & products! Call a head of time, they are in high demand!!

I am new to Columbia and went to Ashley's Alley per the recommendation of a co-worker. I saw Keri,…read moreand I'm so glad that I did. She took my seriously outdated hairstyle (if you could even call it that) and updated it with a fabulous new look. She asked questions and listened to my answers, but also used her professional knowledge and talent to make my hair look better than I thought possible. She also told me how she was styling it so that I can recreate the look at home. For once, I feel like I have a cute hairstyle that I can maintain until my next appointment! The salon itself is beautiful. I was a little confused when I walked in and there was no receptionist. However, after watching people come in and out for a few minutes, I decided that the lack of a receptionist really worked well there. It felt more like clients were walking into someone's living room rather than a hair salon. The artwork was gorgeous, if you're into that sort of thing, and the location is perfect for anyone who lives or works in Columbia. Overall, a very pleasant experience.

First time guest! Delightful experience…read more Incredible, mind blowing massage paired with an luxurious facial. Wow was I impressed. Columbia does not have many noteworthy spa locations so my fingers and toes were crossed for OCCO and they did not disappoint. All the staff I interacted with was really lovely. I had a less than 10 minute wait time for my services and the teams hand walked me between professional which was really lovely. They even carried my stuff, just that golden touch! I went on a Monday night, during the time of Covid. Highly recommend. Fantastic service and zero wait time. Both massage therapist and cosmetologist were not talkative and I was actually able to relax. Lovely little waiting room with treats and drinks. It was winter but it looks like they are mindful and provided lots of seasonal items as well. The pedicure/manicure area also looked lovely, even though I did not use this service. I would come back for it though. They have a card on file and it makes it so much easier at check out when all you want to do is relax and not have to dig in your purse. The only thing better would be if they would let you pay first before the service so you could just float out the front door. It really was a great time and I am a spa snob. I was just so thankful to have found this place. I'll be back, OCCO!

I would NOT recommend anyone go to this establishment…read more This was one of the most frustrating and disappointing experiences I have ever had as a paying customer. I booked a 60-minute massage and was required to pay 50% of the cost upfront to secure my appointment. My appointment was scheduled for 3:45 PM, and I arrived at 3:40 PM -- FIVE MINUTES EARLY. I have proof of my arrival time. Despite arriving early, I stood at an empty front desk for approximately 5 minutes before anyone even acknowledged me. When someone finally came out, I was actually asked if I had told them I was going to be late. I was there before my appointment time. My massage did not begin until approximately 4:10 PM, meaning the appointment started roughly 25 minutes late. The massage ended promptly at 4:45 PM, and I have proof of the time I left. Based on those times, I received only approximately 35 minutes of massage time for a service I booked and paid for as a full 60-minute massage. To be very clear: I was not late. I arrived early. I did not cause this delay. Yet I was the one who lost a significant portion of the service I paid for. And unfortunately, this wasn't even the first warning. One of my girlfriends had previously gone here and specifically told me to watch the clock because she booked a 90-minute massage and only received approximately 55 minutes. I now understand exactly what she was talking about. I booked this massage because I was already in pain, and after waiting for my appointment to begin, I received significantly less than the 60 minutes I paid for and walked out STILL HURTING. I find this completely unacceptable. If you're going to require customers to pay 50% upfront, then you should have enough respect for those customers to actually provide the service they paid for. Your scheduling issues should not become the customer's loss of time and money. And before anyone tries to dispute my timeline, I have documentation showing that I arrived at 3:40 PM and documentation showing that I left at 4:45 PM. I will be submitting that proof along with this review. I cannot prove the exact moment the massage began, but I can say that it did not begin until approximately 4:10 PM, and the massage ended promptly at 4:45 PM. This was not what I paid for. I left feeling ripped off, disregarded, and still in pain. Customers should not have to arrive early, wait for an establishment to get their appointment started, and then lose a substantial amount of the service they paid for. I would absolutely NOT recommend this establishment to anyone. If you decide to go anyway, watch the clock and document everything.
