It is a great environment to compliment it's staff, who are knowledgable, professional and personable. Both of my visits, one for eyebrow waxing and a haircut, exceeded my expectations. I'm a super picky mom because a lot of people can't get it right. They always cut it too short or they do something to mess up their beautiful curls. I give the salon a heads up about this so that they can be extra careful with my kids hair, yet some have failed. However, this time I met Mo and not only did she succeed she rocked it out!. I truly say I am happy with her work. Mo was very attentive, she took the time with my two-year-old to cut his hair, and most importantly she took the time to explain things to me about how his hair would turn out so we wouldn't lose the curls. Even while she cut my hair and I asked her about a specific thing with my kids here she went ahead and fixed it and made it very clear that she wanted me to be happy and she would do whatever it took for me to be happy with my kids hair. Saturday I have an appointment for my five year old and he is also very picky with his hair I'm excited to see how that turns out so far she's definitely someone I would stick with. Thank you Mo. There's only one reason why I did not give the full five stars. I have a very sensitive nose and I smelled cigarette on her hands, but that's just me personally.

This really is a top notch salon in king george. In fact, I live in downtown Fredericksburg and work in North Stafford where there are 100s of fine salons I could go to, but I make the bi monthly, 45 minute drive out to KG to get my hair done by Amber because she can pretty much do no wrong when it comes to hair. I've been to decent stylists before, but none but Amber give you the impression that they are as passionate about your hair as you are. Her energy and imagination are limitless. My haircuts and color are flawless. I am always always always being stopped and asked where I have my hair done. That's probably why she's such a successful stylist. She gets it right every time...and people notice.

I was charged $69 (like the last tier) for a basic trim, which felt steep given how quick and straightforward the service was (no shampoo, no blowdry, dry cut) especially with tip added on top. While I understand salon services can be expensive, this particular haircut didn't feel worth the cost to me.
