I paid $50 which is already high priced, but I didn't mind if they were able to get some of the stains out and make it smell good and such (a high quality clean). HOWEVER, i got it back basically looking the same as it did when I brought it and there was no major difference. My parent's regular washer/dryer did a better job than this business. This went on for weeks! Finally I stop in again and asked for the phone number of a supervisor or whomever I should speak to regarding this matter. I finally got a hold of someone in the claims department and she asked me for a copy of my receipt of the comforter so the insurance company could reimburse me. What kind of bull shit is that? Who keeps receipt for comforters? Luckily I still had the bad the comforter came in with the exact description of the comforter. Brand, thread count, size, etc. I provided her with that and she said the insurance company was hesitant to pay out so much for a comforter without proof of purchase. This is ridiculous. It is extremely poor customer service. I recommend everyone have a copy of a receipt for every item that you drop off at thus dry cleaner, otherwise they will not be responsible for it.

I arrive at 4:30 and they are closed even though they are open till 5. I come back Tuesday morning twice since no one was there when it opened at 8 and findout my items were not ready. They get them done at noon so I come back for 4th time and their credit card machine is broken so they make find an atm so they can release my items from hostage as they will not take down any credit card info or let me come back to pay. Also, the owner said it wasn't their fault and only blamed the laundry and credit machines for being broken

For those that want someone to wash and fold (or not), they do have a drop off service and you can save about half if you ask them not to fold. Regarding the laundry machines, they appear to be well maintained and our clothes came out great. (No burning fabric due to hot dryers). The only criticism is that I am not a fan of the card system for using machines and I prefer using good old quarters This said, the washer/dryer prices were reasonable, so if in the area again, we will take another visit.

Sheldon Cleaners lost a custom-tailored pair of suit pants that were part of a two-piece suit. After the pants were confirmed lost, the Customer Service Manager asked me to provide my receipt for reimbursement. I sent the receipt, which showed the pants cost $121.34. Instead, I received a check for just $50. From there, the experience only got worse. I spent the next three weeks trying to get ahold of the manager to discuss the reimbursement. Because Sheldon Cleaners does not have a posted policy explaining how lost garments are handled, I hoped we could reach a reasonable resolution, especially considering the entire suit was now unusable without the matching pants. We also had to purchase replacement pants in time for a wedding, in addition to making multiple trips back to the store and spending weeks trying to resolve an issue that wasn't our fault. When I finally reached the manager, she said she would look into it and get back to me. She never did. The following week I left additional messages with her coworkers, and the week after that my calls went unanswered altogether. Eventually, I received an email from the manager stating that the $50 reimbursement was final, and my phone number was blocked, leaving me with no way to continue the conversation. Losing a customer's clothing is frustrating enough, but the complete lack of communication, accountability, and professionalism afterward made the experience worse. A business isn't judged solely by whether mistakes happen--it's judged by how those mistakes are handled. Unfortunately, Sheldon Cleaners failed on both counts. I recommend Suburban Dry Cleaning instead. They clean items in-house rather than sending them out, which reduces the chance of items being lost, and their staff is helpful and kind!
